11/01/2026: It's a small restaurant where you have to book in advance, otherwise you won't be able to find a table. The food is excellent, with tasty, traditional dishes, generous portions, and very kind and helpful staff. I recommend this place to anyone who loves traditional local cuisine. I always come to visit them every time I come to Modena.

10/02/2026: Great atmosphere, good music and great vibes, and a wide selection of beers. The only downside is that the kitchen is closed after midnight. Recommendation

01/02/2026: Really good pub I highly recommend going, Bepe the manager is a genuinely nice guy and is passionate and knowledgeable about Beer. I went there twice when I was in the city for work for 4 days, first time I had the burger and a few beers which was excellent, second time many different beers recommended by Bepe! Good music, good atmosphere, good beer (plenty of local craft beers).

04/04/2026: I discovered this restaurant in the Michelin Guide, thanks to the fact that it's one of the establishments worthy of the Bibendum Award, the best value for money. The restaurant exudes history, and the interior rooms feel like a step back in time to a trattoria from the 1970s, even though the paintings and art objects form a very elegant blend. The menu seems to reflect the location, halfway between pure tradition and the creativity of chef Censi. You can't miss the caramelized eggplant parmigiana (an explicit homage to Oldani) because it's a play on textures, hot and cold, which in the mouth truly brings to mind the flavor of my grandmother's super-flavorful parmigiana. The other first courses I tried were delicious and balanced; I must say they were more delicious than beautiful, which is no small feat considering the attention to detail. For main courses, I wanted to try the stuffed tip, a great classic from Parmesan, and the rib eye steak, which resembles a low-temperature roast with the meat's base. As always, when technique is applied, it's so tasty it steals the show from the meat itself. The fig and chocolate cake was also delicious. The service was friendly and never intrusive, and the seemingly regular customers were very friendly, creating a family atmosphere. The prices were very fair. My girlfriend and I ordered six dishes, a glass of wine, a water, and a coffee, and we spent a more than deserved €88.

26/02/2026: Vote 8/10 Really good pizza, especially the dough. This is a well-known place across all bologna and it's been my favorite pizza place since I live in bologna. Their speciality is the "stretched" ("tirata") pizza, which make the pizza crunchy, combined that with the great quality and flavor of the pizza make up for great pizza 🙂. If you go here I suggest you to select a pizza with the standard dough but in stretched version, imo is the best combination. The only downside of this place is the price, in my opinion slightly pricy. Staff is great and super kind! Make sure to get a reservation as it's usually really busy :).

21/03/2026: We come here often for the good pizza. But tonight we really felt abandoned by the waiters even though there weren't many customers anymore. The service could be improved. Let's hope for better luck next time. 🤞

08/03/2026: Welcoming place with very friendly and helpful staff. The pizza was good and had a light crust. The gluten-free pizza was also a hit. Reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.

24/02/2026: This historic pizzeria and restaurant in the Madonnina area is a must-visit. I haven't been in years, but I can confirm the pizza is consistently excellent. Friendly staff, fast service, and a decent value. Free street parking.

24/02/2026: Welcoming restaurant, qualified, helpful, and above all polite staff. I had a sandwich that tasted great and was very generous. My friends and I also thoroughly enjoyed the desserts. I will return and recommend.

20/03/2026: Tortafritta in all its varieties is divine! Our favorites are the tortafritta filled with gorgonzola and the classic variety, with their spectacular cured meats... prosciutto crudo, culatello... spalla cotta di San Secondo... all top-notch... accompanied by guardiniera and parmesan pâté... and what can I say, their homemade gelato is the icing on the cake. The place is easy-going, well-organized, and the staff is very, very friendly. There's even a little shop where you can take home their specialties. For those of us who don't live nearby, it's a shame they only serve tortafritta on Friday and Saturday evenings, but... we're happy to organize that! I forgot... excellent value for money!

06/04/2026: Found it by chance after visiting the Royal Palace and I must say it's an excellent restaurant, we ate very well and found the staff to be friendly.

21/03/2026: Historic trattoria serving local dishes. Five stars for everything. Delicious homemade tortelli. We ate very well and were well-priced. We felt right at home. Recommended: Colorno's signature dish: tortél dóls.

24/03/2026: A restaurant of unique elegance and refinement, where you immediately feel pampered and enveloped in a calm and welcoming atmosphere. Every dish we tasted was a true delight, so much so that we wanted to return to try other interesting dishes on the menu. Furthermore, considering the impeccable, cheerful service, reasonable wait times, and excellent value, this restaurant has officially become one of my favorites!

23/03/2026: We were passing through Predappio and was intrigued by the great reviews of this restaurant. I have to say, it exceeded my expectations! The staff was incredibly kind and knowledgeable, and the dishes were truly excellent. The truffle cappelletti were the best I've ever had, I'm still thinking about them 😭❤️ Everything else was delicious too, generous portions, great prices considering the quality of the ingredients. If it weren't right around the corner (we're from Florence), I'd have lunch there every day! We'll definitely be back and recommend it to everyone.
