The overall experience was decent, with some positive aspects and others that I think could be improved. What I liked - Convenient location: The bar is located in a busy area, easy to get to, and has nearby parking. Perfect if you're in a hurry or live in the neighborhood. - Large, bright spaces: The interior is larger than it appears from the outside, with well-spaced tables and a simple yet functional atmosphere. - Good coffee: I had an espresso and found it well-extracted, with a consistent crema and no bitter aftertaste. - Quick service: Despite the crowds, I was served quickly, which I really appreciate when I'm in a rush. What could be improved - A somewhat distant welcome: The staff was polite but not particularly warm. No rudeness, mind you, but a little extra attention to the customer would really make a difference. - Average pastries: I had a cream brioche, which was good but not memorable. I would have liked something fresher or more varied. - Slightly anonymous atmosphere: the place is clean and tidy, but lacks a personal touch that makes it truly distinctive or recognizable compared to other bars in the area. In summary Big Bar is a practical, quick, and reliable place for breakfast or a coffee during the day. I didn't find anything particularly negative, but neither did anything that really set it apart. It's one of those places that "does its job," with no surprises, either positive or negative. If you're looking for a comfortable, no-frills café, it's fine. If you're looking for a more refined experience or a high-quality pastry shop, it might not be the right place.

05/04/2026: Easter Sunday. There are five of us, and we arrive at 12:15 even though our reservation was for 12:30. They come to take our order at 1:00 PM. The appetizer arrives at 1:30 PM, and the first course arrives at 2:10 PM after we requested it. The second course arrives at 3:00 PM, but after such a long wait, we're no longer hungry. We spent €52 each. We're not satisfied. We won't be back. The food is good, but the wait between courses is so long that it makes you lose your appetite. I had high expectations, but I was disappointed. If you don't have enough kitchen staff, book fewer tables. The price was high: €52 each for two shared appetizers, five first courses, four second courses, two side dishes (potatoes), a dessert (€8), a bitter liqueur, four coffees, and two bottles of Lambrusco. I'm disappointed because I was really hoping it would be a top-notch place.

22/03/2026: Even though it was Sunday and full of customers, the staff was helpful and courteous, the food was good as always, and the prices were average.

11/01/2026: A chic place with friendly, professional service and superb cuisine. Superb dishes made with quality ingredients, with fine, delicious, and delicate flavors. The place is a bit small but still nice and clean, welcoming, and well-organized. What can I say? If you want to combine high-quality food with dishes that are not only delicious but also aesthetically pleasing, with pleasant, intimate, and quiet company, this is the place to be. Thanks for the service, even though we arrived without a reservation and only had to say hello to our friends for 5 minutes. In the end, we sat down to eat and drink, and everything was perfect: food, service, and atmosphere.

12/02/2026: Went three weeks ago for a birthday. The atmosphere is great, quiet, and the food is also very good and plentiful. The wait is a bit long. Four stars only for the bread and carafe wine, which weren't excellent. Antonia's dessert was really good. Recommended!

19/01/2026: The atmosphere and service are very homey and pleasant. This osteria is a place where you can enjoy the tranquility and feel at home. I shared a platter of salami as an appetizer, followed by lasagna and shank scalloped with potatoes. I really appreciated the authenticity of both the owners and the food served, which was unpretentious. The desserts, however, need some updating; in my opinion, they weren't up to par with the rest of the menu (I tried a tart and tiramisu). The value for money was fairly average compared to other osterias in the area.

26/03/2026: Excellent traditional dishes. Tortelli of all kinds to suit all tastes. The battered zucchini flowers are unforgettable for their lightness: perfectly crispy and absolutely not greasy. I'll definitely be back.

25/03/2026: The tortelli are very good, worth stopping by to try them. The tagliatelle with venison is also excellent. The staff is friendly and attentive, ready to accommodate every request.

04/04/2026: We were extremely satisfied here. The variety of coffees left nothing to be desired. Our cappuccino was dark and strong with a distinct, rich chocolate flavor. Very interesting! The pastries were excellent, and the hot chocolate was a hot chocolate pudding, typical of the region. Everything was absolutely delicious. We highly recommend Lino’s Coffee.

27/01/2026: A small, slightly out-of-the-way coffee shop near Piazza Garibaldi. Excellent coffee with delicious options. Fast, friendly service.

24/02/2026: Good Chinese food at reasonable prices Considering that sushi is half the menu, you can expect decent quality. The price and quantity of fish are excellent, but I ate some truly awful fish—literally, it tasted like it was expired—the worst I've ever had in Bologna. I recommend it exclusively for Chinese dishes; otherwise, hope you fare better than I did.

19/04/2026: Had lunch today with friends. A 10/10 is only for calling at 11:30 to ask if there was room. They found me a table. Lunch was top notch, from the appetizers to the first and second courses! Well done to all the staff! But above all... NO STRESS!
