03/02/2026: I don't come to Dispensa Emilia often, but when I'm in Bologna it's my favorite restaurant: I've always found a pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, and undeniably good food.
03/02/2026: Excellent food, extensive menu, organized and clean environment.
The App and Go parking spaces need to be reorganized. They should be reserved exclusively for those who pick up via the app, but they are regularly used by others, with the complete indifference of the management.

18/11/2025: We went there on a Sunday morning for breakfast.
When we arrived, the girl was outside talking to someone. Before entering, she moved some ashtrays. When she came back, she served me WITHOUT washing her hands.
Then, when I asked, "What kind of ricotta is in there?"
Annoyed, I was told, "What kind of ricotta do you expect there to be?" No ricotta!!! I asked, "Okay, but sheep's or cow's milk ricotta?"! Well, after that answer, I said we'd take the cannoli with us, but I wouldn't bring the drink (coffee, cappuccino, or fruit juice)...
I definitely won't set foot in there again. Too bad the cannoli were also good.

The place is a bit small but still nice and clean, welcoming, and well-organized. What can I say? If you want to combine high-quality food with dishes that are not only delicious but also aesthetically pleasing, with pleasant, intimate, and quiet company, this is the place to be. Thanks for the service, even though we arrived without a reservation and only had to say hello to our friends for 5 minutes. In the end, we sat down to eat and drink, and everything was perfect: food, service, and atmosphere.

There's no table service, but it's the best piadina in the area, even according to the locals.

08/03/2026: We returned again this year for a friend's birthday. The appetizers were excellent. Seasonal first courses were very popular; my asparagus panzerotti were excellent. Some people also ordered the second course: cheek with polenta and rare fillet steak. The iconic gelato was a perfect accompaniment.

Mostly middle-aged guests from the city who don't want to cook at home but still want food that tastes as good as home cooking.
The ambiance is very Italian, unpretentious, and cozy. Few or no tourists. A huge thumbs up and much praise!!
