Food was amazing. Ordered the steak with salt and rosemary with the potatoes and the house red wine. 12 year old son loved the grilled pork and ate it faster than anything else he's eaten on our trip. My husband ordered the tagliatelle with ragu and said it's the best he's tried by far. He also ordered the steak with mushrooms which was incredibly delicious. Highly recommend!

A dining gem in Bologna
From the outside you can easily pass by, but once you step inside you get an excellent culinary experience, with 100% homemade authentic food.
Good service from the older gentlemen, possibly the owners, our tip was handed directly by them to the chefs.

The dishes are plentiful, well-served, and delicious. The value for money is excellent. The place is extremely welcoming, furnished in a traditional, homely style, with period objects and photographs, chosen by the owners, who are kind and make guests feel at home. The licorice liqueur, kindly offered at the end of the meal, is wonderful. Highly recommended for everyone, whether you're with family, alone, or with friends, whether you're just passing through, on vacation, or live in Bologna.

Beautiful osteria. Typical Tuscan, plentiful food. I ordered a plate of incredibly tender tagliata, and I've never had such good food. I'd definitely go back when I'm in Bologna.
