07/03/2025: Very nice tavern, at the same time simple and well-kept, places like this are unfortunately increasingly rare. Excellent cuisine: I had a roast beef to perfection but the menu is really inviting, in full Emilian tradition for both the first and second courses. I return after a year (I'm from Turin) and I confirm that the dishes are excellent: the tagliatelle with white ragù were superb. Impeccable service. Now if I come to Bologna I try to sleep in the area so I can eat at Becco di Legno which is a guarantee of goodness and friendliness!

23/03/2025: We were in quick passage. Convenient the possibility of booking online in a few steps and without a deposit. We ate the trio of cold cuts and the rice bomb. I would have tried all the dishes of the kitchen because everything seemed inviting. What we ate in my opinion was very good and unique. Compliments also for the baked goods, the decor and the mise en place with excellent quality glasses. I must say that it is the first time that I find the cost of the cover charge adequate even though it is not low in an absolute sense. I would gladly return more calmly to try more dishes.

01/04/2025: Nice place in the historic center of Ravenna where tradition and a homely atmosphere meet in perfect harmony while also being a place that I would recommend for a romantic dinner. Very kind and welcoming staff and the culinary offering is truly inviting with high quality cured meats and fresh pasta that is reminiscent of home-made pasta. The wine cellar is also good. Prices appropriate to the quality and the context in which you find yourself (5 minutes walk from the most interesting historical sites).

30/03/2025: Very welcoming place, trained, courteous and attentive staff. The menu allows a wide choice of local specialties. Off the menu, on this occasion, with truly appetizing proposals. Well-stocked cellar. Absolutely recommended. The appearance of the ancient shop which characterizes the atmosphere has been preserved, making the experience exciting. Well done.

23/03/2025: I've been going there for 20 years. Friendly staff. Soft pizzas. Exquisite pastry. Barley is also excellent. There is no parking. Close to the Tivoli cinema. The weekend is always packed

19/03/2025: We quickly found this wonderful recently renovated structure on this site. It is 15 minutes from Parma, in a calm and very quiet area but with many tourist attractions: the castle of Montechiarugolo, that of Torrechiara, the Magnani-Rocca Foundation are all destinations reachable in a few minutes by car. The rooms are very large, complete with everything and tastefully furnished. The presence of a separate living area, overlooking a delightful small garden, is certainly an added value. The spa is a little jewel where nothing is missing. Everything is clean and well organized. From the hydromassage tub, thanks to the large windows, it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the garden in front, where there is an outdoor swimming pool and deckchairs. In the evening we decided to use the restaurant which is part of the structure. We would like to recommend it for various reasons: first of all the convenience, then for the refined taste and authenticity of the products. Breakfast is continental, but we also pay attention to local products. Congratulations and thanks to all the kind and professional staff.

19/03/2025: Abbiamo trovato al volo su questo sito questa stupenda struttura ristrutturata recentemente. Dista 15 minuti da Parma, in una zona calma e molto tranquilla ma con non poche attrazioni turistiche: il castello di Montechiarugolo, quello di Torrechiara, la Fondazione Magnani-Rocca sono tutte mete raggiungibili in pochi minuti con automobile. Le camere sono molto grandi, complete di tutto e arredate con gusto. La presenza di un’area giorno separata, con vista su un delizioso giardinetto, è sicuramente un valore aggiunto. La spa è un piccolo gioiello in cui non manca nulla. Tutto è pulito e ben organizzato. Dalla vasca idromassaggio, grazie alle grandi vetrate, è possibile godere di un bel panorama sul giardino antistante, in cui si trova una piscina esterna e delle sdraio. La sera abbiamo deciso di usufruire del ristorante che fa parte della struttura. Ci sentiamo di consigliarlo per varie ragioni: innanzitutto la comodità, poi per il gusto raffinato e la genuinità dei prodotti. La colazione è continentale, ma si strizza l’occhio anche ai prodotti del territorio. Complimenti e grazie a tutto lo staff gentile e professionale.

10/03/2025: Nothing to complain about the food and the service......a negative point is the bill which was too "salty".....if you offer me something that is not on the menu (e.g. Florentine steak) you must also give me indications of the costs.....otherwise I am in for a surprise when I have to pay the bill. Plus, with what I paid, I at least expect a receipt..... I add just to clarify and to respond to the kind restaurateurs, that in the menu that was given to us at the table the Florentine was not indicated just as it does not seem to me that it is indicated even in the online menu which I attach as a photo (in fact we asked if it was possible to order it off the menu)..... but obviously it is our fault for not asking the price..... Furthermore, none of us asked for the invoice and in fact it was not issued to us.....we only asked for two separate accounts.....maybe the customer is the wrong one?

08/03/2025: I've been for dinner several times and the food is always good, but with the story that you can only order many dishes if there are two of you (even on Saturdays all the first courses or 2 portions or nothing) they really annoyed me. I often go out for dinner and lunch in different regions and it has never happened to me (except for lunches with already established menus) So with great regret I think I won't go again.....sorry

Lots and excellent choice of wines and beers, excellent choice of other options, plentiful aperitif. Advised!!

28/03/2025: Pleasant surprise! I had read the very good comments and it lived up to it! We tried the tagliatelle al ragù, they were very good, but the tortelloni ricotta-spinaca e ragù, incredible! The best we ate in Italy! The place is small and cozy. If you visit Modena, you can't miss going!
