15/08/2025: Well, what can I say... we just finished lunch on August 15th... everything was excellent! This small and welcoming restaurant deserves all 5 stars! The staff is always professional, kind, and above all friendly... and this makes the place the 🔝

12/08/2025: I had a great experience. I'm lactose intolerant and asked if there could be any traces of it in the vinegar scallops, which are sautéed in butter and oil. The chef sautéed them only in oil, and believe me, that's not such a common gesture.

20/08/2025: This is where you can get some authentic Italian cuisine in Bologna! What a delightful experience. We loved it so much, we went twice. A few must try dishes: the Bolognese obviously, tagliatelle with ragu, the sizeable bruschetta. Everything was fresh, the service was prompt (especially the older gentleman who went out of his way). True authentic, unpretentious Italian food all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommend them. Thank you!

20/08/2025: We visited this wonderful place twice. It's a completely simple restaurant with soul – the dishes are simple but delicious. The pasta is perfect, full of flavor. The service is so charming and kind that spending an evening there is a pure pleasure. Not to mention the ridiculously low prices compared to similar places. I highly recommend it.

16/08/2025: Incredible pizza, fast service, beautiful and talented waitresses, delicious desserts, and...Finally a clean bathroom!!! Something you can't find anywhere else these days. Not only clean, but also equipped with everything a public restroom should have: toilet paper, soap, paper towels. Well done!

10/08/2025: I enjoyed the specialties of this cuisine on 09/29/24 for lunch, tortelli-lasagne-and tagliatelle with exquisite porcini mushrooms, a second course of rabbit hunter style accompanied by a good red wine (I think Tuscan) in bulk, and to finish a traditional but excellent trifle. The price is really good in proportion to the food consumed, it certainly deserves a stop when passing through those parts. Congratulations 👏🔝

09/08/2025: We went to this restaurant a few weekends ago... and upon entering, you realize that besides cooking, the owner and chef's second passion was Formula One. He was the chef for the Ferrari team for about ten years and then for Benetton. Inside the restaurant, he retains wonderful memories of this past life, which is still part of his present. We ate very well: gnocco fritto with his cured meats, two pies, one with parmesan and the other with zucchini, excellent. For the first course, a tagliatelle with ragù and a ricotta and spinach tortello with butter and sage... amazing. To finish, an ice cream, all washed down with a Lambrusco DOC. 26/08/2025: One of the best piadinas in Bologna! Hidden among the narrow streets behind the Church of Santo Stefano, a 10-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore, it surprises with the quality of its products, its vast selection, and, most importantly, the option to build your own piadina from scratch, even choosing the dough. The staff is friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for those who don't want to try the usual commercial products sold in the historic center.

28/08/2025: Yesterday around 12:00, I asked if it was possible to have a birthday cake for late afternoon. Even though I was fully aware that my request was a last-minute one, they granted it. We enjoyed the best mille-feuille cake I've ever eaten. The front line was extremely polite, courteous, and helpful. The price was in line with the big names, but the product quality was significantly superior. Being a pastry chef is a very difficult and sometimes tiring job, but passion is the added value that drives reviews like this. It will be a pleasure to visit you again. Best wishes.

04/07/2025: A good bar/pastry shop with a nice display of brioches and pastries (they also fill the Sicilian cannoli wafer on the spot). Tastefully furnished and well protected from the heat by its position under the portico. Prices are normal. I would have liked a little more kindness and smiles from the staff, all female.

31/08/2025: Given that we went on a Saturday night, so it was understandably busier than usual, we waited 55 minutes for our pizzas because they prioritized takeout. I tried the gluten-free pizza, but it still had a hard time digesting it. The atmosphere is sterile and noisy (no outdoor seating, it overlooks a supermarket parking lot). They even miscalculated the amount at the cash register, and if we hadn't noticed, we would have paid for an extra pizza (they apologized and refunded our money, but thank goodness we checked). It should be noted that the prices are slightly lower than average, which is probably why it was so crowded.

29/08/2025: Booked by chance because I don't live in the area, but I knew it was a celiac-friendly restaurant. The extensive menu features good-quality meat and seafood, including gluten-free options. The restaurant is pleasant and spacious. The staff is efficient and truly courteous. Even though we arrived a little late for lunch and were alone in the restaurant, they never rushed us. The homemade desserts are excellent, especially the Catalana. I highly recommend them.

14/07/2025: I'm from America, and this is in Italy. Cool atmosphere with the deco, burgers were okay. Good for Italy. Staff could be more attentive with servicing table. Everyone's glasses were empty over the meal with no refills offered. Got my own.

23/04/2025: Aperitif with fried food and top sprizzino, risotto eaten afterwards always very good!!!! To then talk about the cod fritters which in my opinion are sublime!!! Great recognition goes to the chef. He served us and made us feel welcome!! Thanks for everything!!

24/07/2025: A delightful, simple, and authentic place. It's reminiscent of a bistro with delicate, feminine touches. Good cuisine, from meat to vegetarian dishes, and fried appetizers. The menu is seasonal and fresh, like the dishes themselves. We had lunch as a couple, and the place was perfect for conversation, unhurriedly. Very pleasant.

21/07/2025: I recently visited Afridita Giardino, a place with enormous potential but neglected and lacking love. Uncomfortable chairs, plastic cups, a dusty garden that's unkempt, except for the excellent food. Service is poor; it's practically self-service.

24/08/2025: I went for lunch with my family and as always we ate very well, excellent and plentiful, the owners and staff were kind and welcoming, the environment was beautiful and clean, a 10+ rating.

09/08/2025: 🇬🇧 I wanted to introduce my boyfriend to real Italian cuisine, the kind my grandmother always cooked and which reminds me of my holidays in Italy. This osteria managed to convey exactly that feeling. The pasta is homemade and simply fantastic. The arrosticini are divine. And the service is very warm and friendly. I couldn't recommend this place more: it was an experience like the ones I had when I was with my Italian grandmother. Extraordinary. 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 I wanted to show my boyfriend real Italian cuisine—the kind my grandma always cooked, which reminds me of my holidays in Italy. This osteria managed to capture exactly that feeling. The pasta is homemade and simply amazing. The arrosticini are heavenly. The service is warm and friendly. I couldn't recommend this place more—it was just like the experiences I used to have when I was with my Italian grandmother. Amazing.
