24/08/2025: Wow. We stumbled across Caffe Maxim during our trip Bologna. It’s was a wonderful evening and the vibe at this bar, which is situated centrally was perfect. The bar staff were so welcoming, and it quickly became clear that the mixologist (Bianca) was of a high calibre. We ordered a variety of cocktails and mocktails drinks throughout the evening such a Dirty Martini’s, Banana Joe and Mojitos and each one was fantastic. We’re looking forward to a return visit. This bar is the perfect destination bar and a must if your planning to explore the Bologna nightlife🔥🔥🔥

19/07/2025: POCO TRASPARENTI Locale molto bello, atmosfera suggestiva e cena decisamente all’altezza. Nulla da dire sulla qualità complessiva dell’esperienza: ci siamo trovati bene, sia per il servizio che per la musica live, che aggiunge sicuramente valore alla serata. Il problema è arrivato solo al momento del conto, quando ci siamo visti addebitare 8 euro a persona come contributo per la musica. Una cifra non esagerata in sé, ma che non era stata segnalata in alcun modo né sui social né telefonicamente quando abbiamo chiamato per avere informazioni prima di prenotare. La trasparenza verso il cliente è fondamentale. Leggendo poi altre recensioni, ho scoperto che questa mancanza di comunicazione è un problema segnalato da tempo e che comunque non son state trovate soluzioni in merito. Trovo che sia un peccato, perché basta davvero poco per essere chiari: informare chi prenota permette a ognuno di scegliere liberamente come vivere la propria serata.

19/07/2025: LSono stata in questo locale per la prima volta, attratta dall’atmosfera suggestiva e dalla proposta di musica live. Il posto è davvero bello e anche la cena è stata piacevole, niente da dire sotto questo punto di vista. Prima di prenotare ho fatto tutte le verifiche del caso: ho consultato il sito, i social e ho anche chiamato per chiedere se si potesse cenare durante le esibizioni musicali. Nessuno mi ha menzionato un costo aggiuntivo per la serata. Solo al momento del conto ho scoperto l’addebito di 8 euro a persona come contributo per la musica live. Tengo a precisare che non contesto il pagamento del contributo in sé — è giusto sostenere gli artisti e valorizzare l’esperienza — ma credo sia fondamentale comunicarlo con trasparenza, prima che il cliente scelga se prenotare o meno. Inoltre, leggendo altre recensioni, ho scoperto che questa pratica va avanti da anni e che il costo può variare in base alla serata, rendendo ancora più importante una comunicazione chiara. Alla fine ho comunque passato una serata piacevole, ma è giusto che chi sceglie il locale sappia cosa aspettarsi sul conto, soprattutto se si presenta per la prima volta. La trasparenza è parte dell’ospitalità.

14/07/2025: Bonito lugar de estilo bistró, servicio muy amable, sorprendentemente buen precio por la calidad de la pizza y la piada. Seguimos volviendo aquí durante nuestras vacaciones, siempre tenemos buena comida. Los lugareños también vienen aquí, lo que es una buena señal.

06/08/2025: Well, what can I say? We stopped for lunch with the team at the recommendation of a colleague, and we had a wonderful meal. A very elegant and refined location, excellent wine selection, and attentive, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again.

04/07/2025: 好喝支持，还会再来！A bar with so much taste and quality! Every proposal on the menu is taken care of down to the smallest details: the cocktails like the mojito and the spritz are very fresh, perfect for a summer evening with friends. The creative desserts like the affogato are really special, and the tiramisu is delicious. Even though our Italian is not perfect yet, we wanted to practice it and the owner was very kind, speaking to us in Italian with a lot of patience and courtesy. We will definitely be back. Highly recommended, 5 full stars!

16/06/2025: It's the third time I've been there and it never disappoints. I think it's a place for many but not for everyone. Trust the guys, they know what they're doing and their expertise is enormous. As for the quality, I think we can't judge but only appreciate the flavor and let the guys tell us the scents of the food. I recommend the tartare, especially the smoked one, the top appetizers, we tried the friarielli with polenta and they were delicate and delicious. The choice of wine was recommended to us: a very well-structured and particular Trebbiano. The owner is the "weapon" of the place, he loves his job and passes it on to the guys and the diners. I repeat that the place is for many but not for everyone, you have to know how to appreciate authenticity.

01/08/2025: Very quiet and not crowded, the food was delicious. Excellent service. We had some very good crescentine accompanied by prosciutto and stuffed pumpkin, which were also very good. I hope to eat there again, highly recommended!!

11/09/2025: My husband and I ate at this restaurant twice in a row. Excellent food, friendly staff, and a very welcoming atmosphere. Delicious pizza and fantastic first courses. I highly recommend this place.

11/09/2025: Food 4/5: I haven’t tried every dish, but there are just too many to choose from. We tried the recommended “schue schue”; and “diovoli” pizzas on two different occasions and they were fantastic. I only docked 1 star down due to shear amount of dishes, however almost all dishes are modifiable so you can mix and match really. Prices are great! Service 5/5 Family run business. Can’t get any sweeter than this. Kind and hospitable. Lovely faces with great soul. SUPPORT LOCAL BUSINESSES! Atmosphere 5/5 Always full. Filled with Italians which shows that it is a non-tourist, local place where locals come to spend their nights. Full of life and that of typical Italian culture. If you have misophonia or phonophobia, then I don’t recommend this place, nor Italy. Italy is full with life and people expressing freely and loudly.
