25/08/2024: The restaurant offers a good selection of wine and friendly service, unfortunately not in line with the cuisine. I found a poorly maintained menu and not in line with the territory. Cuisine neither modern nor traditional. A middle ground that didn't convince me.

18/08/2024: 2 of us had lunch, we ate really well, a first course and two second courses, dessert, wine and water; in total €62. Excellent value for money. The gutturnio coppa with jam is divine, as are the curried beef morsels. Cozy and intimate environment, it really looks like a mountain house. Friendly and helpful staff.

23/11/2024: Andrea Sartini. The capocollo is not bad and neither are the pigeon cappelletti. I ask for a beer on tap and they tell me there isn't one because they haven't changed the keg. I ask for a prosecco then and it never arrives. I ask another waitress and she replies, I hear from her colleague. Result I'm almost finished with dinner and some prosecco and the shadow finally arrives but I'm practically finished. I ask for the sweet chocolate and pear cake which is served hot, it was practically frozen. In the end the bill was high for what we ate. There is a lack of professionalism and a lot of improvisation, then you cannot have a tavern and inside it gurme dishes with prices that go beyond the parameters of a tavern. Rating 5- -

10/11/2024: Excellent lunch on Sunday 27 October with family! In the historic center of Santarcangelo, Osteria da Oreste is an experience worth trying. Traditional dishes revisited with delicate innovation... young atmosphere, intimate venue, excellent welcome, we had a great time. I recommend the boiled meat sandwich with sauces, the manfrigoli with cuttlefish and beans and the lean porcini mushroom ravioli. Excellent glasses of wine... Well done

01/12/2024: The best place to eat traditional Reggio Emilia dishes without spending a fortune I have frequented it on several occasions and have always found the quality of the food to be excellent

13/12/2024: Corporate greetings dinner: Very positive experience both in terms of hospitality and food. The dining room staff took the right amount of attention in proposing the dishes on the menu and in presenting them when served, among other things with extreme promptness. High quality of the dishes and very well combined flavours: gnocchi and octopus absolutely worth trying! Furthermore, attention to raw materials and the choice of seasonality should not be overlooked. We will definitely be back!

12/12/2024: What can I say, the location is beautiful but the value for money is not compatible. Raw materials not of high quality which you expect given the high prices...we won't go back again. Deserving staff

31/08/2024: We enter the shop, say good morning 3 times without ever receiving a response; the shop assistant in front of us busy arranging some pods didn't bother to greet us. We only had a small ice cream because we diverted to the nearest ice cream shop given the lady's lack of courtesy. The ice cream wasn't bad but we definitely won't be back.

30/08/2024: Magnificent, sublime, super good desserts. It's my last day in Italy and my best ice cream, the pistachio cheese cake is delicious, the tiramisu is so beautiful. A treat thank you!
