13/04/2025: Quiet and well-kept place, 3 minutes from Palazzo Pallavicini. Delicious ramen, very rich and delicious, we also tried the fried chicken with flavored mayonnaise and it was delicious too!

Chocolate cake equally good and the wine also good. The only flaw of the place is slightly too dark but it's fine for a romantic dinner. 25/04/2025: I had been to this restaurant a long long time ago, certainly after the year 2013 which marked a terrible watershed in my life. I went with Luciana... my radiologist friend who was trying to bring my mood back above the minimum wage threshold of survival. Obviously - like all the matters that occurred in that period - they fell into a remote corner of my memory. At the time (perhaps the management was also different) I understood the particularity of the environment, a mezzanine and furnished with minimalism and taste. By chance it came back to me while passing by via Staffette Partigiane, so last night I booked: me and a university friend of mine, just to unwind for a moment and have a quiet chat. I have to say that the quality of the food was definitely good. The impeccable service (I really appreciate it when my cutlery is changed if it's too dirty, between one course and another). The owner was a polite but continuous presence. In short, far from the centre, but worthy of note. Must try...I'll be back.

04/05/2025: Everyone has their opinion but good pizza makes everyone agree. This is why I have never found anyone dissatisfied at Melagusto. And if you have particular tastes (tight, tall, well cooked, soft, etc.) don't hesitate to talk, they will be able to customize the pizza to achieve maximum satisfaction!

11/05/2025: Good service, good room staff but unpleasant owner with little empathy. Booked for a communion we showed up slightly late and were greeted in a rude and cold way by the owner. Nothing to say about the food, everything was excellent, the service from the guys was admirable but the welcome left me stunned. Of course we also paid a fee for people who didn't show up(5). For the record, at the time of booking it was reported that being elderly they might not show up at the last one. I didn't stay in PA BUT only ate

03/05/2025: Piacevole locale appena fuori dall'Arco di Augusto. Ottima accoglienza riminese da parte di un bergamasco. Ordinate due bicchieri di buon vino e magari una piadina e/o qualcosa di sfizioso. A pranzo, chiedete dove mangiare del buon pesce senza farvi spellare. Avrete una piacevole sorpresa.....

02/05/2025: Before Covid it was our fixed stop once a year we left Asti to come to this place in Angelino to eat the real fried gnocco and drink its fresh gutturnio. Today we returned...total disappointment! Decent cured meats and cheeses. Fried dumpling clearly defrosted, soaked in oil, unpleasant to eat. Gutturnio in a bottle, hot. Two cutting boards with 4 pieces of terrible dumpling... and a bottle of wine €55... never again!

26/04/2025: The menu is very imaginative. Original and delicious flavors and combinations. Impeccable dishes, apart from a small slip on the tortelli which were too watery. Casual but not competent service. Pretentious environment, but too eclectic: only the jars of self-produced jams on display are appreciable. Very high prices. Noisy and mumbling patrons are not to blame.

18/03/2025: La Cambusa is one of those places that seem small but have a gigantic soul. It's one of my favorite places in Ferrara, and if you've been there, you know why. If you've never been there... well, what are you waiting for? Here you can eat mouth-watering burgers, sandwiches and finger food, but the real specialty of the house - even if no one has ever officially declared it - are the crab claws. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and with an irresistible I-know-what: they probably hide a secret ingredient, or it's just pure magic. La Cambusa is also the perfect place for those who love conviviality. Given its size (or rather, its “smallness”), making friends is practically inevitable. You sit down to eat and after five minutes you have already exchanged jokes with someone. Here you enter as customers and leave as evening companions. If you are looking for an authentic, informal place with street food done properly, La Cambusa is an obligatory stop in Ferrara. Oh, and don't forget to order the crab claws. I'm not saying that they are the real reason (besides Paolo, the steward) why this place exists... but almost.

17/01/2025: Very small and intimate place...a real GALLEY in fact, where you feel at home even the first time you set foot in it. This is what happened to us. Paolo's friendliness, kindness and thoughtfulness. Rare gem nowadays.
