We went to Acetaia Paltrinieri because we had been given a Smartbox. I must say we had a wonderful time. We ate very well, generous portions, an appetizer, and then a choice of three first courses, three second courses, and dessert. The staff was very kind and attentive. After lunch, we toured the vinegar factory, with a very knowledgeable guide who clearly explained how the vinegar is aged and the years it ages. We also tasted the various types of vinegar. I highly recommend it.

This farmhouse is completely immersed in the nature of the Modena countryside...among vineyards...many plants...and large green spaces...this is the ideal place to spend a beautiful weekend...or to be able to treat yourself to a lovely evening eating all the specialties of these hills and of the Modena area...made with a typical but at the same time very simple and above all authentic cuisine, coming from ancient family recipes. And after eating you will be pleased to be offered a tour of the Acetaia and its cellars full of wonderful wooden barrels...located in the basement of the property...as well as a tour along the entire farmhouse where there are animals that children love...
