Everything was perfect, the room was excellent, the king-size bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Recommended

Very convenient location, about 400 meters from the central station. The hotel is old-fashioned, very luxurious, clean, and has enormous chandeliers.

The hotel is well located, has tasty breakfasts, and friendly service. Unfortunately, mold on the walls and peeling paint in the bathrooms disqualify the facility.

Having paid for the room well in advance, they pushed the beds together and the lack of cleanliness was obvious downstairs. There was no breakfast.

The hotel is in a good location about 12-15 mins walk from the Piazza Maggiore. It's large and has a big lobby and cafe area, and a restaurant tucked away which is perfectly adequate. The staff were super helpful, particularly in the restaurant and at the desk. The building itself is a bit tired but has a charm about it. Room was fine, clean and spacious enough. One thing that isn't helpful is a spa that only opens for 4 hours from 5pm until 9pm. I know people eat later here but if you are traveling for work or want to go out earlier you can't use it. And I booked it because the spa looked good. The gym is excellent with a wide range of machines which you can do a proper workout. Overall I would recommend for the location

A very large old-style corporate hotel. Located a short walk from the centre of Bologna. Decor is slightly old fashioned (swirly carpet, chandeliers) but not untidy. Staff were not particularly friendly, but were efficient. Our room was lovely and the bed very comfortable but the bathroom was old fashioned - the shower seemed to be relatively new but the rest of the fittings were tired and could also do with a refit. The hairdryer was one of those old-style wall mounted ones- but worked fine. There were lots of notices about looking after the environment but the soap came in a plastic wrapper, and the shampoo was in little plastic bottles! There were disposable plastic cups instead of reusable cups and glasses. The breakfast buffet was busy and despite there being lots of free tables none had been cleaned. We cleared one for ourselves. There was a varied and large selection of food but only two coffee machines which needed to have the water, coffee and milk constantly refilled meaning long queues. When I drew one member of staff’s attention to the water tank being empty she directed me to other machine which already had a queue. She said the same thing to another guest a few mins later and when I left 20 mins later the machine was still not refilled! Overall I felt the hotel lacked the personal touch that you get with a smaller establishment.

We stayed in a double room for 3 nights in April and the room was clean and spacious enough. However, the furniture needed some updating. We chose this hotel because it was near Bologna Centrale and we planned to do day trips from Bologna. It was also walking distance to the historic center. The breakfast spread was excellent with various breads, pastries, fruits, cold cuts, eggs, and cheese. Service was good from the friendly breakfast staff to the efficient front desk personnel. We appreciate that they allowed us to check-in early since our room was ready. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here.
