09/11/2025: It's a trattoria with an excellent tradition, and it's only gotten better over the years. Piacenza cuisine, good food, and friendly service. You can still find dishes that are hard to find these days. With a first course, second course, dessert, and house wine, the bill is more than fair.

12/10/2025: Another historic Piacenza trattoria. Very suitable place for a classic lunch with Piacenza specialities. The tortelli are excellent.

15/10/2025: Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at Trattoria da Me from start to finish. When we arrived for our reservation at 9:30 there was a line of people waiting to be seated. There is only one person at the door to take payments and seat reservations which makes it a long wait time and very crowded in the entry just to be seated. After we finally sat down we ordered and the waiter kept interrupting as we tried to order and suggesting things we didn’t want. Once we ordered and the first plates came they were ok. Then we waited a long time for the second course. We ordered the cod fillet, which was extremely undercooked that you couldn’t even cut it. We asked for them to take it back to cook further, which they said ok and they will make us a new one that would take 10 minutes. 40 minutes later after asking they bought out the new plates that were exactly the same. Chewy and undercooked. They told us they slow cook it in a water bath but that was not made clear by the menu description that said ‘slow cooked cod’. It was not a pleasant dish to eat, we tried a bit and told them that we’re not able to eat it. I am pescatarian and have worked in restaurants with water baths and have never seen a piece of fish served like this. It was very disappointing after waiting so long. When we sent it back the second time the waitress told us we would not be charged and for the fish and asked if we would like some limoncello, which I accepted. Then we went to pay the bill and the cod was still there so when I asked the cashier she told me yes because we are charging you for only 2 instead of 4, and we also gave you the wine and liquor free. They offered me the limoncello and then are telling me they are not including it in the bill. Oh yes and also while we were eating there is a hidden door behind my friends chair, which the waitress made her move so she could go in and out scratching her jacket with the door. I never write bad reviews but I honestly can’t believe I just paid for that. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

31/08/2025: What a wonderful bakery and pastry shop! Fantastic preparations, and even a bar area for breakfast or an aperitif with their pastries and appetizers. Not to mention the quality of their bread: even in the simplicity of ordinary bread, you can sense a remarkable leap in quality. And what about the Easter Colomba? Lately, too many amateur pastry chefs have turned to making panettone and Colomba, but very few can boast the results we can taste at Magnani! And even in 2022, a truly superb panettone. Now, coming to 2024, and the various Colombas being produced... Enough to leave you speechless once again.

01/08/2025: Professionalism and kindness are the order of the day here. The title says bakery, but here you can find, in addition to the fantastic pizzas, focaccias and other typical bakery products, a well-stocked delicatessen corner and a fabulous pastry shop with sweet cakes and pastries for all tastes (here I found the Susanna cake... it was absolutely delicious). The place also has a fantastic bar corner where you can have breakfast or even a snack or simply a corner to chat with a good coffee, as it should be. If you pass by San Secondo, there's no question, you have to come here!!

16/05/2025: Coffee break at this café located to the left of the entrance to the Rocca Sanvitale in Fontanellato. A caffè macchiato and a macchiatone, both excellent. The guy behind the counter was very friendly. Highly recommended!

07/09/2025: Amazing location, beautiful historic courtyard, truly Emilian. Surrounded by nature, it's a dream green.

03/11/2025: On a friend's recommendation, I came to try this place, which I was very intrigued by the name alone. We were seated and initially ordered a couple of spaghetti dishes, including: Sherwood Re Arthur I'll start by saying that I was a bit hesitant because I also thought that with so many ingredients, the result would be disappointing, but instead I really enjoyed the Sherwood. Then, to top it all off, we also had a carbonara, but their way, and I liked that too, despite their way of making it. Generous portions and always helpful staff. I recommend it.

20/07/2025: Pizza buonissima. Volevamo trovare un posto fisso settimanale da andarci con i vari gruppi di Persiceto, ma siamo rimasti veramente molto delusi! Personale scocciato per una richiesta lecita. Prezzi altissimi.. una "rossa con verdure" pagata 11.50!! Ma scherziamo??? Chieste spiegazioni e stizziti "i prezzi sono quelli!". Leciti di comportarsi come meglio credono, e di fare i loro prezzi. Ma un cliente va trattato con rispetto, anche perché poi le cose si spargono a macchia d'olio. Infatti purtroppo i gruppi hobbysti nostrani di Persiceto non ci andranno mai alla fine. Dispiace un sacco. Delusione totale.

28/08/2025: The food is good and the atmosphere is great. Great for relaxing, even with your dog. Clean and tidy, reservations are recommended, especially for the dog area. I always come back when I can!

31/10/2025: I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy! Rude staff, especially the owner. We were at lunch and he started yelling at two other diners. It almost started a fight! The food was absolutely awful! Never again!!!!!

15/07/2025: I went to this place for a bikers' meeting of about 40 people. The food quality was excellent, and the prices were good. The meat was sublime, even though the menu was pre-booked. The service was highly questionable. I understand optimizing the tables, but packing six people at a table for four is too much. The staff hand-delivered the dishes because there wasn't enough room at the narrow tables... that's not good.
