Sat outside on the patio and enjoyed a great lunch with a wonderful Lambrusco. Great opportunity to try local cuisine in a casual environment, and everything was delicious.

We had lunch with a couple of friends the first weekend in May at this typical Modena trattoria. The atmosphere is characteristic of old-fashioned trattorias, with wooden tables and a rustic ambiance. The staff is very friendly, but young and inexperienced, so don't expect impeccable service. However, the quality of the food is excellent and plentiful, and it's mostly local (the tagliatelle with ragù is truly amazing, the meat and cured meats are top-quality, as is the crostata di duroni). The quality/price ratio is exceptional, and the food is typical of old-fashioned trattorias. Highly recommended.

A charming trattoria off the tourist streets of Modena, serving good quality regional cuisine at very reasonable prices. The pasta was exquisite. The place is small but pleasant. The staff was fine, nothing particularly noteworthy.

Excellent pasta! The restaurant really offers good value for money. However, it seemed to me that many of the customers suddenly expected gourmet food when ordering a €10 ragù; many looked dissatisfied and were unfriendly to the staff. I found this very disappointing, as the staff were friendly and the food was truly delicious.

Excellent local spot with delicious pasta, classic local dishes served with a little extra refinement. Easy friendly atmosphere and a nice selection of wines. Great experience all around and one the best tortellini I’ve tasted.

13/05/2026: The best of the best of the best of Modena's tradition. Tortellini and a trolley of boiled meats are mind-blowing. Simply the best. We go there for special occasions but also for dinners with friends. Best to book to secure a table.
26/04/2026: Between the meat, sauces, and shortbread, all excellent, the boiled meats cart is perhaps the best I've ever eaten! The only shame is that the first courses weren't exactly thrilling. I'll be back!
