23/08/2025: We went to this hotel/pizzeria in person to order four pizzas and were told at 7:10 PM on a Saturday night that we needed to call ahead to order four takeout pizzas! What a shame to lose customers over four pizzas.

03/10/2025: Contrary to the many positive reviews, we encountered the kitchen on a particularly heavy Friday evening, I suspect. The Parma ham was hard and dry, as if it had been sliced ​​long beforehand. Nothing like the other hams we've had in Parma; there wasn't a trace of fat left on it. The pasta (in brodo) seemed to have been made by two different people—one half was still quite tasty, the other half overcooked, tart, and with cracks that clouded the broth. The raviolo melanzane had so much cheese and spices in it that you couldn't taste any eggplant. The osso buco was very good, but my duck leg was so incredibly dry that the evening was truly beyond repair. The young man serving us probably needed some training and twice couldn't tell us which dishes he was actually serving us. He had no idea, and even said so with our main courses. Everyone has to learn it all at some point—but at least help that kid in the first few days, instead of abandoning him. A pathetic evening to spend a good 100 euros on disappointments in every course.

14/09/2025: There's not much to say, Spaghetti Notte is a Mecca for carb-addicts like me. A historic restaurant in Faenza, located in the heart of the "Athens of Romagna," it's housed in a basement, as you might easily guess. Spaghetti is the main focus of the culinary offerings, although there are other simple options like bruschetta. The staff, including Jessica, Matteo, and I think Natalina, are very quick and helpful. The space, although smaller than necessary, is welcoming. The walls are decorated with placemats featuring logos from previous years and photos of the Faenza of old. Parking isn't convenient, being in the center, and access for people with limited mobility is impossible.

28/09/2025: Everything was superlative. From the service to the food 👏 I ordered a pizza and 2 drinks. The drinks came in 2/3 minutes and the pizza shortly after. In addition to the speed, even though the restaurant was full, the pizza looked sensational and was very tasty. The prices are low, but the quality and service are also 10. I recommend!

Prices are for both out-of-towners and everyone. It'll definitely be in the acknowledgements section of my thesis!

10/05/2025: Ho passato un’ottima serata, ambiente tranquillissimo con tavoli molto distanziati in una sala un po’ retró. Servizio gentile… piuttosto informale e amichevole rispetto ad altri stellati in cui sono stata. Menù storico da 10 portate (contando entrèe, predessert e piccola pasticceria) veramente consigliato. Piatto top della serata (quello indimenticabile, di cui si parla ancora a distanza di anni) il “cappuccino” di seppie con spuma d’aglio, olio all’n’duja e lime e delle ottime sfogliatelle per concludere. Per quanto riconosca l’ottima esecuzione avrei preferito un dolce diverso dal babà (un po’ per gusto personale e un po’ perché non lo vedo molto come dolce da fine pasto). Assolutamente consigliato!

Location 10,Menù 9, Servizio 10, Conto 9 Location bellissima sia interna che esterna del '500 Menù (Storico) molto equilibrato passando dai sapori del sud a quelli dell'Emilia, rivisitati perfettamente, portata che ci è piaciuta maggiormente è "Seppia, spuma d’aglio, olio all’ n’duja e lime", ma in generale tutte le portate sono state super. Servizio impeccabile e molto discreto senza essere formale, sommelier molto simpatico e professionale, anche il maitre di sala bravissimo e in generale i camerieri molto preparati e gentili. The service was lovely, the owner is friendly, and you can tell he loves his place and his work. The prices are fair for what you get. The place is small, but very colorful.
