25/05/2025: An amazing place. I love a place like this where you can find some peace and quiet. The food is excellent, Federico is a helpful and welcoming person. If you have time and want to make a special day from Milan it doesn't take much. Time well spent. The tortelli with butter and sage are amazing. The salami is delicious

19/05/2025: Immerso tra le vigne dei colli piacentini, l’agriturismo Il Corniolo è una piccola perla per chi cerca autenticità e gusto. L’atmosfera è quella calda e rilassata di una casa di campagna, dove il tempo sembra essersi fermato. La cucina è il vero punto forte: un incontro sorprendente tra la tradizione piacentina e la cucina greca, in un connubio che funziona alla perfezione. Dai tortelli con la coda, alla moussaka con ingredienti locali, o ancora ai pisarei con la feta, ogni piatto racconta una storia di contaminazioni felici e sapori ben bilanciati. Il clima è familiare e accogliente: si viene trattati come ospiti di vecchia data, non come semplici clienti. Il servizio è cordiale, mai invadente, e sempre pronto a raccontare l’origine dei piatti e dei vini della casa. Un altro punto a favore è il prezzo, decisamente contenuto rispetto alla qualità dell’esperienza offerta. È raro oggi trovare un luogo che coniughi genuinità, buona cucina e prezzi onesti con tanta naturalezza. In definitiva, Il Corniolo è il posto ideale per una gita fuori porta (l'agriturismo ha anche alcune stanze per il pernottamento), una cena romantica o un pranzo in compagnia, con il valore aggiunto di una cucina che osa senza perdere le radici. I complimenti al cuoco, Federico e alla sua famiglia per aver creato questo gioiello nella campagna piacentina! Straconsigliato!!!

05/06/2025: Just outside the Cisa, at the height of the Borgotaro toll booth, a very pleasant discovery. After a short stretch of narrow but well-maintained road, you reach a place with a spectacular view of the Taro Valley, which you can enjoy during your meal if you decide to eat on the terrace. Typical Parma menu, well executed, with strong flavors without being heavy. A note of merit for the first courses. Friendly and kind service, orders are a bit slow, it is best to arrive before 1 pm especially if you are a large group. Wine list could be revised but still consistent with the type of restaurant. More than fair bill. Absolutely recommended!

04/06/2025: Do you remember the atmospheres of those films, of those road movies where you enter a place and in that place, if you have eyes to look, there is a beautiful piece of the world to enjoy? Well, the Chiosco ai Pioppi is just one of those beautiful pieces of the world. Blissfully nestled along the magic of the Romea, it offers its customers a simple and unique atmosphere, suspended in an oasis of peace, true hospitality and good flavors. Even though we arrived ten minutes before closing time, we were welcomed and hosted with flavors that were as simple as they were good and authentic. And, to honor the fact that one does not live by bread alone, or rather by piadinas alone, the stories, enthusiasm and friendliness of Erika, the very kind owner, artfully garnished our dinner which, between local and overseas flavors and customers, was able to satisfy our travel break with joy and laughter. A place, truly, to stop and to be looked after with care! A place that has made "kindness", the true and authentic one, its watchword! Try it and you won't regret it! See you soon!

24/05/2025: It's been years since I left the edge of the pizza on the plate. Unfortunately it was burnt and the dough was a bit stringy so I had trouble cutting and chewing. Good ingredients. Excellent Baba. Discreet service. Irreverent cashier

09/06/2025: Good restaurant where you can taste fish with affordable prices, the staff is friendly and the outside tables are located in a garden under the trees in front of the port canal. The food is good and cooked in a natural way without too many aromas that cover the tastes

26/06/2025: Sublime to the palate! Tagliatelle reminded me of the flavors that dada, an excellent cook, had accustomed me to! The fantastic friggione, a simple delight, deserves an "unsurpassable". The artfully created tortelloni! The lady cotoletta petroniana soft and filled with flavor. Thanks to Daniele and the staff for their kindness and thoughtfulness. See you soon!
