Business lunch with a fixed-price menu. The price varies depending on the courses you choose (full course, first course and side dish, second course and side dish, etc.). The food is truly excellent. The service is friendly, fast, and accurate. Everyone is very friendly. Recommended.

My go-to whenever I don't feel like cooking. Excellent Bolognese cuisine, with the Mezzemaniche Dalsiccia e Zafferano (Dalsiccia and Saffron) as a first course, a 10/10. The 5-star staff!!!!! You're great, not to mention the fantastic Iole. TOP☺️

Fantastic place, the tagliata is superb. Pay attention to the hours listed on Google; I found it closed on Sundays (January 11, 2026).

22/04/2026: Il camino d'oro is a must-have in Bologna; the restaurant is meticulously maintained, welcoming, and intimate. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and extremely professional. All the dishes are perfect. I also tried their grilled meat, and it's truly extraordinary, even with friends to share. If you want something lighter and more carefree without sacrificing quality, head to Twin Side, which is still under the same management but is wonderful for an evening with friends. As for wines, they have something for every budget, and you can drink very well without spending too much. Special mention goes to the "amarologo" (a bitter expert) who will help you choose the best digestif for you, with the option of buying a half-dose and sampling more than one. Highly recommended!!!

09/05/2026: I needed to eat the real deal in Bologna away from the tourist center and this place serves! Food is incredible in a lovely historic institution with the kindest manager/owner - she speaks English! The bread is so soft it’s a pillow, the ragu is from heaven. Excellent wine selection. Only locals here from what I saw.
01/05/2026: When appearances can be deceiving: overcome your doubts and come in. Beyond the old-fashioned style lies substance, flavor, and tradition (a truly well-made ragù!), a seasonal menu, and a wine list that's anything but ordinary (you'd be hard-pressed to find Piffer's Vulcanite in Bologna on the list...).
