16/08/2026: Thieves in a beautiful place. We didn't get off to a good start when they told us the mixed grill wasn't available, but that can happen. I found the gentleman in the hat who joked with us at the table at various points throughout the evening unpleasant. Handshakes, smiles, jokes, and friendship galore, before finally offering us (with great fanfare) a €1 discount on a bill of almost €250 at the cash register. At this point, shut up and don't joke; it's more elegant. The waiters were kind, but in Romagna the food and portions were absolutely not up to par for such an expense. I confirm: thieves in a beautiful place.

16/08/2026: Ferragosto evening. I basically agree with Mr. Tamburini's review, especially regarding the gentleman with the hat. Very nice place, but the prices are truly exorbitant, from the meat (€9 per 100g for the fillet we ordered) to the desserts. It's true that piadina in Rimini is thin, but here it was almost transparent and not cooked through. Overall, the food wasn't bad, but at those prices, the quality isn't worth the expense.

30/06/2026: First of all, the owners and the guys/girls who work there are incredibly kind and helpful. Fantastic food, excellent piadinas, excellent ingredients—what are you waiting for? Oh...among the piadinas, I recommend the Romagna!

29/06/2026: Lunch with friends; we waited 30 minutes before being seated. The older waiter, known as "Uncle," was incredibly rude.

09/08/2026: We booked a table for four last night, expecting to eat very good food after reading previous reviews. However, we were surprised by the prices on the menu, which didn't match the usual prices. We ordered two mixed grills for €67, one of which was supposed to weigh 800g. What we received was a plate with meat smeared all over the plate, which wasn't 800g, but it wasn't much meat overall. For a €67 grill, they could have done better. A terrible experience, even though the location is stunning and the panoramic view is fabulous. Service is lacking. This isn't acceptable in Montegridolfo, so no one will come. Congratulations!

04/08/2026: A beautiful location on a charming square in the mountain village of Montegridolfo, with a great view while dining. The dishes were very well prepared and full of flavor. It is good to know, however, that the dishes are served exactly as ordered, without standard side dishes or extras. For us, this was actually a wonderful experience, but it is good to keep this in mind. Despite that, we had a lovely evening at a unique place!

26/05/2026: This is our second time dining here, and each time we're delighted. The location is surrounded by greenery and is welcoming and well-maintained, as well as romantic, especially in the evening. The service is impeccable, and the owner is kind, fun, and available to accommodate all guests' requests (we visited with a 7-month-old baby, and our every need was promptly met). The food is delicious, with generous portions and masterfully presented. It's also a perfect place for summer evenings when you want to escape the heat of the city. We'll definitely be back.

08/08/2026: No carbonara, only Emilian dishes! At the restaurant, focus on traditional Emilian dishes; avoid carbonara (alas, with cream!) and other dishes; they're not their strong point! Excellent products at the shop, especially the Parmesan cheese, of course! Average prices. Friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere.

23/08/2026: A 750g tub in which I asked for four flavors (Nutella, Dubai, Stracciatella, and Bounty). Typically, you'd ideally use the same amount (approximately, obviously!) of each flavor; at least it would be obvious and, above all, COURTEOUS to do so. As shown in the photo, in this case the tub was deliberately disproportionately large, placing negligible amounts of the two obviously heavier (or more expensive?) flavors, and overdoing the Bounty and Stracciatella. Undoubtedly, the tub's weight was just right, but you should better disguise these poor practices you instruct your employees on... especially since you charge dearly for the gelato! Oh, and one more thing: the Dubai flavor had no variegation at all (barely on the surface!!), so essentially it was just the base.

10/06/2026: I love this restaurant; we always come back here for excellent seafood in Rimini. The dishes are delicious, plentiful, and beautiful to look at. The staff is always friendly and fast. The music is low and relaxing. Highly recommended for both lunch and dinner, to top off a day at the beach with a delicious meal!

10/06/2026: I went with my husband for an aperitif... then we decided to stay for dinner. The cocktails were good, the waiters young and attentive. We chose "sea and mountains"; both fish and meat. Everything was good, and you could taste the carefully selected ingredients, which is not a given. Our server was able to recommend the perfect wine for each dish. The place is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. It will be a pleasure to return. Thanks, see you soon.

24/06/2026: There are restaurants you try once and remember fondly. Then there are those very rare places that become a destination. For us, Garum undoubtedly belongs to the second category. We live about an hour and a quarter away, yet we try to return here at least three times a year. Not out of habit, but because every visit confirms the extraordinary quality of the work done in the kitchen. Garum offers contemporary, refined, and highly distinctive cuisine, built around the world of fermentation. A concept that might frighten those unfamiliar with it, but here it is interpreted with intelligence, balance, and great gastronomic sensitivity. It's important to emphasize: fermented foods are never invasive, aggressive, or excessively acidic; on the contrary, they become tools to amplify flavors, create depth, and add complexity to dishes without ever overpowering the raw ingredients. Each course reflects a careful study of techniques and ingredients, but without falling into the trap of being an exercise in style for its own sake. Behind every dish, you can sense research, gastronomic culture, and a precise culinary vision, always accompanied by a surprising lightness. You leave satisfied and never weighed down. Another aspect we particularly appreciate is the ability to make a cuisine accessible that, on paper, might seem intended for a niche of enthusiasts. In reality, Garum manages to appeal both to those seeking an advanced gastronomic experience and to those who simply want to eat well and be guided on a new path. The service also deserves special mention: professional, knowledgeable, and never pretentious. You can sense the passion of those who truly believe in the project and want to convey it to their guests. In a landscape where research is often confused with complication and originality with excess, Garum succeeds in the most difficult feat: being innovative without being extreme, technical without being cold, refined without losing the pleasure of eating. For us, it has become a regular fixture and one of the most interesting restaurants we frequent. A place that leaves something new every time and makes you want to return again. Five well-deserved stars.

05/08/2026: Decent food for tourists only. Piadina is definitely not homemade and the ingredients are not local as advertised on the menu. The service is averagely ok but definitely the vibes are not authentic from the typical Emilia-Romagna hospitality. The venue is nice with a big outdoor terrace however this is located facing a very conjested road and people begging on the street whilst you are at the table eating your food.

19/08/2026: I went to this restaurant on August 15th: I didn't expect to eat so well and so much. The food was truly exceptional, and the staff were kind, capable, and even beautiful! I'll be back in a hurry!

20/11/2025: I've been to this restaurant several times and have really enjoyed it. I've tried their homemade cured meats (excellent) and various cuts of meat. Excellent and highly recommended!
