The service and staff are always friendly. Open all year round. In the summer, you can sit outside; otherwise, the inside dining room is always pleasant. Highly recommended.

11/11/2025: In the heart of the historic village of Fontanellato, the villa restaurant will welcome you with kindness. It's actually a villa, and from the small square with its San Pietrini, you enter the bar area. It has two floors and an incredible, well-kept garden with a small castle 🏰. In one of the rooms, we enjoyed a three-course set menu: A very delicate and delicious puff pastry with mushrooms, a couple of tortelli (pumpkin, ricotta, and spinach), and finally, a berry culis and gelato. Franciacorta and Lambrusco wines. Excellent value. The restaurant is good and, with a few small adjustments, could become excellent. Parking is a downside, as the famous market is held on the 3rd Sunday of every month.

08/03/2026: Excellent gelateria in Rimini, rivaling the Castello in my opinion. They have slightly more sophisticated flavors and cater to those with allergies, offering special flavors. I highly recommend it; the staff is friendly and the selection is wide.

30/04/2026: We had dinner in a truly magical location! We chose a seafood tasting menu, and I must say it's been a while since I've tasted such a good menu. The fish was top-quality, the portions perfectly balanced, and every dish simply delicious. An experience I absolutely recommend!

Thanks also to the owner, who, after a problem with a takeout sandwich, delivered the correct one within 20 minutes, with a free Coke. You've gained 3 new customers.

06/06/2026: Sosteria is a gastropub on the outskirts of Piacenza that stands out thanks to its well-constructed concept and meticulously curated food. As they describe themselves, the menu ranges from burgers, traditional dishes, and crostoni, all accompanied by a good selection of cocktails, beers, and wines. A formula that works and satisfies a wide range of tastes. One of the aspects I appreciated most was definitely the attention paid to celiac disease sufferers. It's not just a standard, forced option, but a wide and thoughtful selection, allowing everyone to find something interesting to eat without feeling limited. If the weather permits, I definitely recommend one of the outdoor tables. The garden is well-kept, bright, and very pleasant, especially on summer evenings. The atmosphere is relaxed and inviting, inviting you to linger longer than expected. The aperitivo appetizers are also very good: varied and delicious, perfect to accompany a beer or cocktail. I particularly appreciated the attention to artisanal preparation: the dough, bread, and fries are all homemade, and you can taste the difference in the final result. The burgers are also well-crafted, with quality ingredients and generous portions. The only real flaw is the service, which can be quite slow even when the place isn't particularly crowded. I'm not referring so much to the dishes, which are understandable given the artisanal nature of the food, but rather to the drinks, which sometimes seem excessively slow. Perhaps I'd also lower the music volume slightly, but that's a highly subjective matter. Overall, however, Sosteria is a project that exudes personality and passion. A welcoming, inclusive, and unique place, where you eat well and enjoy spending time. With a little quicker and more on-point service, it would be really hard to find any flaws.
