22/02/2026: I managed to eat there a couple of times purely by chance. The place, although not crowded and with plenty of free tables, doesn't accept non-reservations. It seems like they're focused on regular locals and don't want casual diners. The food is good and authentic, but the management is terrible. Look for other places in the area and don't bother the ladies who run the place. You'll save them a lot of stress and you won't be disappointed if they refuse.

Maura's warm welcome and friendliness make you feel right at home, in a simple yet meticulously maintained setting. ​The real star is the excellent food from start to finish: ​Appetizers: refined and beautifully presented. ​First courses: strictly homemade. ​Second courses: incredibly tender meat (honorable mention for the excellent veal with leeks). ​Desserts: a fitting end to an impeccable meal. ​It was a pleasure meeting Fabrizio and Roberta in the kitchen: their passion and dedication shines through in the preparation of each course. ​Note on the bill: This is not your typical "hit-and-run" tourist spot. 21/12/2025: Nice place, nothing exceptional about the food. Otherwise, a huge disappointment. In a simple sentence: Unfair. The menu has normal prices, then they offer you off-menu items (the prices of which you don't know), but what do you expect to be in line with the rest? Then the bill shows 23 euros for an appetizer: ONE... and I mean ONE... octopus tentacles cut into three pieces... as if it were a Michelin-starred restaurant. Huge disappointment.

13/01/2026: (Reviewing the restaurant) The atmosphere is rustic, simple but well-kept and tidy. A fireplace at the entrance easily warms the entire space. The waiters are young, but friendly and attentive. You can clearly sense their love for their work and the commitment they put into it: they were efficient and helpful throughout the evening. The menu is simple but rich in meat-based dishes, which are the hallmark of this place. I liked the option of ordering a dish called Quatris, a trio of cappellacci (a type of pasta) plus baked pasta (which was actually lasagna; I thought it was baked macaroni). I'd never tried cappellacci with radicchio, but I have to say it wasn't bad for someone who doesn't like radicchio. For the main course, the rabbit was excellent, with vegetables just like my grandmother used to cook it, accompanied by baked potatoes. My boyfriend had tagliatelle with ragù and donkey with polenta, which he loves. The portions were just right, in my opinion, because I managed to eat everything without leaving anything behind; I was just the right amount of full. I was afraid they'd be inhumane, but I was wrong. Honorable mention for the pumpkin chips, which were AMAZING: I'd never seen them before, but I think even if they were available, they wouldn't be this good! I think providing more than one side is a plus. The robiola cake was excellent, as was the chocolate salami (which I appreciated because it was nice and dry with an aniseed aftertaste!). To finish, a nice licorice liqueur, very pleasant and low in alcohol. €87 for two with a bottle of wine, a real bargain.

Bolognese cuisine, both meat and seafood, is delicious, carefully prepared, and very inviting. Friendly and attentive service, reasonable wait times. Reservations recommended. Average prices.
