09/04/2026: The crepes and ice cream were delicious. Unfortunately, it was very loud and the staff spoke very little English.

06/04/2026: A lovely ice cream shop with outdoor seating that serves melted chocolate in a cone. The quantity of ice cream per cone is minimal, so I give it 4 stars.

07/12/2025: A very charming place, but above all, delicious dishes like cappelletti in brodo, cured meat appetizers with gnocco fritto, and cheeses. Definitely worth a try. Top!

30/11/2025: Was I unlucky? We booked because everyone had spoken well of it and indeed the food was amazing, the place was nice and the staff were very kind... but we ended up in a small isolated room in the basement (very characteristic) with a cold and humidity that was really difficult to stay without the duvet on, we ordered and the waitress had to be in the next room otherwise she couldn't get the signal and place the order, ok no problem, when the appetizer arrived I pointed out to the waitress that the humidity and cold were very noticeable, she told me that it was 20° (true but the dehumidifier in the room was working at full capacity making a nice buzz and absolutely not managing to remove all the humidity present in fact there was a lot, a lot, of mold on the stones of the wall) and that it was hot upstairs so the heating system detected the heat and didn't "pump" anymore, ok when my first course arrived I was offered to move upstairs when we served the second courses and I gladly accepted, when my son's first course arrived, 15 minutes later from When my table arrives, we are told that the proposed table will not be freed up 🤷‍♂️ so we finish eating the first course and decide to have the second courses made in a "cartoccio" and go because in the meantime my wife has already left the restaurant to go and warm up in the car... I pay and leave with my cartoccio and a rather strange experience, good food, slow service but that's okay, I'm in no hurry, but the cold and humidity ruined my lunch

05/05/2026: Il Campanaccio remains one of my favorite restaurants in Imola. Everything is prepared with care and professionalism. In addition to the menu, they always offer daily alternatives. Outdoor seating is also available in the summer. Welcoming service. Excellent value for money. Reservations are recommended.

26/05/2026: Last Friday, my husband and son went to dinner. Even though I live very close to the restaurant, I must admit I'd never been there. After finding out they allowed dogs (we have a Cavalier King), we trusted the reviews and were very, very pleased! To start, they serve their own fornarina, which is delicious! My husband and I opted for two fish-based entrees, which, in addition to the quantity (each portion can literally be split between two), amazed us with their delicious quality and the (very rich!) toppings. My son had a pizza. Next, a grilled fish platter, which we shared between the three of us! A bottle of water and a carafe of house white wine were also included. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the service was excellent. My only small point: the prices are definitely not "trattoria" prices, but we were happy to pay for the quality, quantity, and friendliness. I recommend trying them out.

22/04/2026: I came here to eat, not to stay, and I have to say the restaurant is good. It's not the usual classic Romagna cuisine; you can tell they've updated the menu a bit, with some fresher, more contemporary dishes that still remain local. The food is good. After dinner, you can take a stroll outside among the horse stables, which are located on the property. The horses are truly beautiful, and it's worth a visit. The stable hands are friendly and helpful. A quiet, green place, far enough from the hustle and bustle of the coast. I recommend it.

21/04/2026: I discovered this restaurant under new management, and I must say it was a wonderful surprise. I hadn't heard of it before, but my experience was truly excellent in every way. The dishes are carefully prepared and, above all, delicious: the cuttlefish and calamari with mashed potatoes were simply exceptional, as were the appetizers, all fresh and very tasty. The ambiance is classic and welcoming, making you feel immediately at home, enhanced by beautiful Murano chandeliers that lend an elegant and warm touch. An added bonus is definitely the chef, who is also the owner: a smiley, kind, and very welcoming person. Her friendliness and the way she makes you feel welcome make the experience even more enjoyable. It's one of those places you want to return to, not just for the food but also for the atmosphere. The service was also truly excellent. I absolutely recommend it; I'll be back very soon!

02/06/2026: Overall, we ate well. Unfortunately, the experience was marred by one incident: while the owner (or, at least, the person serving us) was explaining the appetizers, we interrupted to ask a few questions and clarify some doubts about the menu. In response, we were rather rudely told that we should have listened to the end of the explanation first. The tone used left us feeling humiliated and detracted from the enjoyment of the moment. We understand that chaotic situations or misunderstandings can arise during service, but those who work with the public should be able to handle these situations with greater courtesy and professionalism. It's a shame, because the food deserved a better rating, but the welcome and the way in which customers are treated are an integral part of the experience.

02/06/2026: A truly beautiful, very characteristic seafood restaurant. The fish is incredibly fresh and delicious, and the desserts are truly excellent, especially the mini pastries. The staff are friendly and welcoming.

10/05/2026: Finally, a true trattoria, in the truest sense of the word. As soon as you enter, the exposed grill awaits you, yet the air is clean, no heavy odors, no bothersome smoke. Just the scent of something slowly cooking. The wait was minimal, the service friendly without being overbearing. We were seated almost immediately, and from then on, it was a succession of dishes that spoke of the local area and respect for the raw ingredients. The tagliatelle were generous, carefully seasoned. The grilled meat, a massive rib-eye steak, arrived with that disarming simplicity typical of places that don't need to show off: arugula, lemon, and spices aside. The rest is up to the quality of the meat. The desserts weren't an afterthought: the caramel pannacotta was rich, anything but ordinary. The tart was a spectacle, crispy on top, soft on the inside. The price is fair, perhaps even generous considering the portions and quality. It's not a trattoria pretending to be a trattoria: it truly is, through and through. We'll definitely be back.

01/05/2026: Truly delicious, incredibly delicious! The smell of ragù wafted from the kitchen like a dream. Every time they brought a dish to a table, the entire room was filled with intoxicating aromas! I had the passatelli with rabbit ragù and found it to be special. The hand-cut ragù was truly well-made and delicate. The bread from the Brisa bakery was also excellent, which I adore! The staff was young and attentive. Highly recommended, I'll be back!

10/04/2026: After reading the positive reviews, I decided to try this ice cream shop myself since I had to come to the area for work, and it was a complete disappointment. I wanted to get the cremino flavor, thinking it was the real cremino, like the "Fiat" kind, but instead it had Nutella, so I changed it. I got another flavor called "Sweet and Salty," which had caramel with—I don't know if it was white chocolate or something else—and maybe pieces of hazelnut, but it was so sweet, you're sick of it after two scoops. The hazelnut was a bit of a saving grace, but the worst part was when I asked if I could add whipped cream on top and it was sprayed on... in an artisanal ice cream shop? And do I have to pay for it like a third flavor of ice cream? If I go to an artisanal ice cream shop, it's because I don't want chemicals. Otherwise, I'd have bought both the ice cream and the cream at the supermarket, and perhaps I'd have spent less, given that a cup with that "cream" on top would have cost me just €4 after five minutes, along with a €1.20 bottle of water! It's a shame, because everything has potential, from the place to the flavors.

16/05/2026: Sunday lunch, reservations. My girlfriend and I sit at a table so close to the bathroom that (with all the commotion) I couldn't hear myself through the hand-drying device. I politely ask the waiter to move us because we couldn't even hear each other, and he snorts and asks very rudely. They seat me in front of the pizzeria, which would be fine despite being very close to the waiters' station where they stop to cut bread/make desserts, etc. If it weren't for the fact that we're sitting right next to the kitchen intercom. Every dish that came out was called over the intercom, and we were promptly deafened. For those reading this for the food, at least that's pretty good. If you go on a quieter day, you might have a better time, but I'm reviewing it for the rudeness and the disappointment of eating a good dish surrounded by incredible commotion. Had I not booked, I would have understood (more or less), but you know you'll be hosting two more customers. Try not to make your lunch break—which is a time for conviviality, pleasure, and relaxation—a moment of nervousness and discomfort. Maybe next time you won't, but I don't think I'll be coming again.
