Our food was basic but other orders seemed impressive. The service was great and a half bottle of wine for 12eur was a bonus.

15/11/2025: Passing through Via Vandelli, we found a dated but welcoming hotel, where we were treated very well. Next door, there's also a bar/grocery store and a fountain, useful for travelers to stock up on supplies.
Excellent, authentic dinner!
11/11/2025: Great welcome, simple but good menu, the ravioli and tortellini are superb! It's a shame about the game, very little and not a great dish.

04/10/2025: Small restaurant in the center of Mirandola, quiet location. The decor is modern and elegant, with seafood accents, given the predominance of seafood dishes. The menu changes regularly to offer something new. Very discreet and efficient service, with reasonable wait times, especially since it's a pleasant place to relax, allowing you to chat without being disturbed or disturbing others. The dishes are beautifully presented and the ingredients are excellent, clearly demonstrating the passion and care they put into their creations. Well done. The prices are affordable, nothing over the top.

02/12/2025: I'm sorry to give a negative review to a restaurant we've been to several times in the past. It's been a while since we've been back, but something has changed in the kitchen. We ordered four courses, and four of them, in our opinion, were wrong.
Amberjack tartare with small capers, citrus gel, and dried Taggiasca olives:
The capers killed the dish; it tasted only of capers. The amberjack didn't quite reach the palate, perhaps too salty.
Risotto "Azienda Acquerello" with shrimp, porcini mushroom cream, Taleggio cheese fondue, hazelnuts, and red shrimp tartare:
It was a Taleggio cheese risotto; no other flavor reached the palate. Instead of shrimp, there could have been anything else, but they didn't arrive.
Dry passatelli with seared scallops, Sogliano fossa cheese, candied lemon, and pine forest truffle shavings:
As above, passatelli with fossa cheese, no hint of scallops or truffle...I tried removing the cheese from the scallop to see if that was a problem, but it tasted of nothing, nothing, and the truffle didn't either.
Oven-baked CBT croaker on a roasted pumpkin puree flavored with sage and rosemary, sautéed cardoncello mushrooms, and a yogurt sauce:
This, like the tartare, is so salty you can't taste anything else.
Now, my review is meant to be constructive. I don't claim to be a gourmet; in fact, there's always something to learn in this environment. I'm sure the ingredients were top-quality. I've known the restaurant for a long time, but I just couldn't taste the ingredients. This is a significant flaw. I don't know if the chef has changed because I haven't been back in a long time. However, four different courses, none of which were positive (we couldn't really taste the ingredients), is too much. That's why I wrote the review. I'm sorry, because we've always had excellent meals in the past, and I've recommended the place to several people.
The dessert and service were excellent.

30/10/2025: Only top marks for this business, which deserves all our attention and affection. If it were a menu, I'd describe it like this:
Appetizers: Unlimited kindness and helpfulness.
First Courses: Authentic expertise and a listening ear. They passionately answer every question about vegan nutrition, thus making a choice that, for me, represents the future accessible. Their pumpkin cappellacci with soy ragù? "Da zo'dttesta," as they say here in Ferrara.
Second Courses: The food they offer is carefully crafted, freed from suffering to be inserted into our bodies with respect and awareness. We are what we eat, let's not forget that!
Dessert: Extraordinary generosity. I ordered cappellacci for a graduation reception with just a few days' notice, and they prepared everything with incredible speed and dedication.
Coffee and Ammazzacaffè: Attentive, authentic people, worthy of praise.
I'm not vegan, but my partner and family are. I eat meat very rarely these days, and places like "La Vegana" confirm that this cuisine is not only ethical, but also profoundly good and welcoming. Highly recommended.

22/11/2025: I definitely had high expectations and was a bit disappointed. The torta fritta and cured meat were good. The tortelli were edible, but I don't think they were homemade. The waiters were kind but very rushed. I think there's room for improvement.

Salvatore, Enzo, Paolo, and Sara create a system that lives up to their experience
This requires bookings for both pickup and delivery well in advance. Of course, they also make them on the spot, but it's worth it
