Food was great. Tortellini in brodo tasted comforting. Lasagna was great. Lovely bechamel. Beef cheek first time. Hard to compare but liked it. Service was a 3 star until Imran came to save. Educated me in italian customs and great conversation. Brought service up to 7 star out of 10. Thank you Imran. We shall remember this meal due to you and the chef/kitchen workers.

Walked in on a Saturday night without reservation and they happily welcomed us, which is nice as we got turned down at all the previous restaurants. A bit of mixed feelings about this place, the primi piatti (tortellini in brodo and tortelloni con zucca) were good, but not extraordinary. The secondi were delicious!! We had the braised beef cheek and the bolognese cotoletta and both were super tasty. Alas, the tiramisu was a disappointment. Seemed like a last minute tiramisu with soggy biscuits and a mascarpone cream that isn’t light and airy nor thick and rich.. Service also left us with mixed feelings. A few waiters attended us, some were the sweetest and gave us good attention, some others were rather rude and snappy. Also, there seemed to be a bit of discrimination around how they treated us comparing to how they treated older customers.

Wow, if youre lucky enough to get a table you're in for an amazing night, the food is perfect the waiting staff are extremely knowledgeable of the food & wine origin and guide you through both. Perfect night

Wonderful, wonderful restaurant. As first courses, my wife had tortellini in brodo and I had spaghetto aglio olio with anchovy and buratta cheese. Both were brilliant. For second, we split a cotoletta Boglonese (veal cutlet) which came with a small side of potatoes. Also wonderful. We topped the meal off with vin santo and panna cotta. The restaurant itself is charming, a perfect balance of comfort and elegance. Service was perfect too. We're sorry we're leaving Bologna tomorrow because we can't come back here for a while. But this was a memorable meal in every way.
