05/07/2026: We made a reservation in advance and received a wonderfully warm welcome. The meal was outstanding, featuring a fantastic fish menu made with incredibly fresh ingredients sourced directly from their own garden. You can truly taste the quality of the herbs and veggies! To top it off, the sommelier recommended a great wine that matched our menu perfectly. Highly delicious and absolutely recommended!

02/08/2026: We stumbled upon this place while on vacation in the area. What can I say... we immediately received a wonderful welcome and a presentation of their various offerings—fantastic guys! Initially, we ordered two simple ice cream cones, and we couldn't help but return the next day to try the Moke (highly recommended). The ice cream is probably the best I've ever had. They also have more unusual flavors, like my favorite, Black Hawaii, but each one is truly better than the last. I'll take advantage of any new vacation opportunities in the area to return! (Of course, hoping they'll open new locations closer to home 😂)

21/08/2026: A small and welcoming place. Once inside, the noise of the city fades away, transported by the music and aromas of the kitchen. I had beef fajitas (a generous portion 😁) accompanied by four tacos (definitely better than bread...similar to piadina) and three salsas (guacamole, sour cream, and spicy salad). To finish, despite my already full stomach, I had churros 🤩 with dulce de leche (a cream made with milk and sugar). Friendly and helpful staff.

13/07/2026: WONDERFUL PLACE! Timeless and out of this world. A delicatessen and trattoria with a selection of platters filled with local products. All of the highest quality and refinement, even the "simple" cured meats. A place of historical importance: frequented by Maestro Verdi himself, as well as a group of highly esteemed figures, such as Maestro Toscanini, O. Respighi, Gabriele D'Annunzio, Giulio Ricordi, etc. Excellent service, excellent products, excellent prices. The wine service in a bowl is charming and unique. All this accompanied by opera music in the background. LONG LIVE VERDI!

04/07/2026: Absolutely one of the best agriturismo experiences. The property was beautiful and well run. Max was a gracious host and constantly made sure we got everything we need. Diner and breakfast were made with a lot care and proud. Our room was exceptionally clean. Highly highly recommended.

21/05/2026: We absolutely loved our stay here! The property is a beautifully restored farmhouse and barn, full of charm and character. When we arrived, Angela took the time to share the history of the house and her family with us, which was such a lovely personal touch. Angela, her husband, and Massimiliano were incredibly warm and welcoming throughout our stay. We can’t recommend staying for dinner enough, it was honestly one of the best meals we had in the whole region! The pasta and bread is made fresh in-house using ingredients from their own garden and the local area. The love and care that goes into everything really shines through. We’ll absolutely be recommending this place to all our friends, we can’t say enough good things about it!

Nothing is left to chance, everything is taken care of, and the atmosphere is family-friendly, making it a pleasure to return. Il Panino Gourmet is a gem in the heart of Piacenza.

16/08/2026: Excellent dinner, worthy of a star in my opinion for the ability to create excellent dishes starting from generally simple, yet consistently high-quality ingredients. I also appreciated the wine pairing for the tasting menu and the attentive and friendly, yet not overly formal, service. The outdoor courtyard is lovely. The only downside was the desserts; they didn't wow us and weren't a fitting conclusion to an otherwise truly remarkable experience.

09/08/2026: The atmosphere and social project remain valid, but the restaurant front needs a lot of work. Such a high price for a cuisine that's neither good nor bad leaves a bitter taste in the mouth.

09/08/2026: We had dinner last night for four. The location is beautiful, with a charming exterior, a well-kept restaurant, and very friendly staff. The food is excellent, both the Romagna and ethnic dishes. The tagliatelle are delicious, and the rare tagliatelle with chimichurri sauce is excellent. The ethnic selections are very well-crafted (a journey through the Mediterranean). I'm sorry, but there's one downside: the price. €170 is slightly excessive for three reasons: You call yourself an "osteria." You eat at wooden tables without any kind of tablecloth, not even paper. The portions are a bit small. For example, the tagliatelle at €14 is a bit too much (Squadrani and Corrado sell them for €10 and a double portion). The carafe of house wine, I have to say, is very good, but €14 is excessive. The ethnic selections, while exceptional, are a bit excessive, but 6 small bowls for two people at €36 is a bit excessive. In short, let's say €6-8 less per person is perhaps more in line. In any case, the quality is unquestionable and the place is definitely worth trying.
