Dovevamo cenare velocemente per andare poi a vedere uno spettacolo al Politeama, così abbiamo optato per questo locale che dista giusto 5 min a piedi. L'ambiete è piccolo, ma molto accogliente a partire dal personale davvero gentile e disponibile a spiegare per bene le opzioni di farcitura che offrono, i vari tipi di pane e la possibilità di farsi anche un panino a piacere, se proprio non si dovesse trovare quello preferito tra quelli proposti (cosa davvero difficile). Materia prima fresca e di qualità per dei panini che abbiamo trovato davvero deliziosi. Nel suo genere non si potrebbe davvero chiedere di meglio. In 2, prendendo 4 panini, una birra e un chinotto abbiamo speso € 36,50.

The possibility of choosing the type of bread is wonderful which makes the experience even more personalized. Excellent wine to accompany everything. An additional positive note for the waiter whose energy and skill in service and in recommending the right combinations made the stay in this place more pleasant. I definitely recommend

I discovered this absolute gem in Piacenza a while ago. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and can serve you in Italian, Spanish or English. There’s a reason it’s called “Il Panino Gourmet”, these are no ordinary sandwiches. Each and every sandwich has been designed to suit a specific, delicious flavour profile. Seriously, these paninos are really good - and there’s something for everybody. The sandwiches are obviously made in house, and the bread is also brought in fresh. There are many types of bread to choose from: soft, crunchy, gluten-free, etc. There are also local ingredients featured in some of the sandwiches, as well as some local and regional beers and wines. I honestly don’t think anything beats it - it’s my favourite restaurant in Piacenza. Easily top 5 in the city. Must-try. Thank you, owner and staff for your lovely shop and your wonderful hospitality.

Small place with tables also outside, it offers modular sandwiches with different types of bread and various fillings that can also be customised, and some interesting off-menu proposals (among the proteins 😜 cured meats prevail, an expression of the territory). There is also a small but significant selection of desserts. Prices more than honest. The staff is courteous and quick and, what is particularly appreciated, they present themselves with a smile. What more could you want? Well done!

Excellent sandwiches in a small and welcoming place, excellent service, I find it very useful that they have sanitary pads in the bathroom available for guests, the staff is very kind and attentive, they have various bread options, the one in the photos for example is charcoal, but they also have turmeric, traditional, etc... Restaurant located in the center of Piacenza with helpful and friendly staff. Huge choice of sandwiches, among other things you can also decide the type of bread. I also really appreciated the interest in promoting local products. A place that can make your day better.
