Agriturismo San Giuseppe In Gattatico

As my last day comes to an end I am full of emotions, my 3 week stay here at Agriturismo San Giuseppe has been nothing short of fantastic! Maxi Mainini and his entire family Angela Mainini, Caterina Mainini their mother and all the staff made me feel like family not just a guest. They went out of their way to make sure I had everything I needed and more. Let's not forget to also mention the restaurant they run here, oh my goodness, all I have to say is compliments to the chef, the food was perfect! I have not been served a dish that I didn't like. From all the traditional Italian dishes to the amazing local wine and beer. But the part that really touched my heart was that they knew I would miss Easter at home with my wife and kids and they didn't have to, but they included me in their family's tradition on Easter Monday. Sitting at that big table with all of them eating that amazing homemade pizza was so comforting. I will miss this small town in Italy 🇮🇹 but know that I will leave "you" a piece of my heart ❤️ family is a bond not only of blood Thanks for everything, until our next meeting

A corner of genuine peace... I discovered this farmhouse in 2018, for business trips. And now I have organized a business trip to stop here again, 6 years later. I found a structure consistently faithful to itself, as I remembered it: silence, quiet and excellent food (it was no coincidence that I had planned to have dinner there), but also with the feeling that modernizations had been made, without distorting the soul of the place . The food is excellent (to make it easier for me, they sent me the menu on WhatsApp the day before), the bill is honest. The night passed peacefully, in a very comfortable bed and with a silence of times gone by. I will return (for dinner...). Sensational breakfast, rich and genuine, with the feeling that it had been prepared especially for me. The only request I feel like making: if it were possible to purchase the excellent parmesan that was served to me at dinner. Maybe it's possible and I didn't ask...I'll try next time...

Excellent quality and impeccable service. Very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent food and very nice location. We discovered this farmhouse for a Sunday lunch with friends (they had strongly recommended it to us). What struck us so much was the welcome, the kindness, the quality of the raw materials and the quality-price ratio which is not found so often. We had a pleasant experience and will definitely be back!!!

Magnificent place and great food in my opinion

Beautiful discovery! I chose the San Giuseppe farmhouse to celebrate a birthday lunch and it will certainly deserve a second visit. The location is welcoming, a well-renovated farmhouse. The cuisine is excellent, with a quality-price ratio that is difficult to find elsewhere. The availability and hospitality of Massimiliano and the rest of the staff made the experience even better; Well done. Highly recommended.

On a rainy February evening, you are looking for a place to rest after a long working day and discover the Agriturismo San Giuseppe in the Parma countryside. From the first impact, you can feel the pleasant warmth of a tastefully renovated rural environment, but when you sit down for dinner the magic takes place. Welcomed by the very kind Martino who recommends a selection of regional wines by the glass, you are struck by the care of the dishes prepared by Angela, faithful to traditions but interpreted with a flair that does not go unnoticed. At the end you have a chat with Massimiliano, the owner and you understand why you had such a good time. A piece of advice for everyone... don't miss this opportunity!

Discovered by chance by my partner. Introduction I am celiac and vegetarian but without hesitation (which for those who are celiac know how rare it is) I They have Brought the same dishes as my partner's menu, who was also converted to vegetarian. All delicious and of excellent quality, of their own production, generous portions and qualified and courteous staff! We will definitely be back! It could become one of my favorite places! I advise !!!

Simply enchanting! It is a magical place, where the welcome, the quality of the services and the raw materials are excellent. Absolutely worth trying and then never stop going to it again!!!

La bellezza e pulizia della location, I tempi del servizio, la qualita' della cucina, e il servizio, dove si distingue la cordialita' del titolare Max.
