12/11/2025: It's basically just two rooms with a few tables, all carefully furnished. Therefore, it's always advisable to book well in advance. For the same reason, lunch and dinner are served in two sittings. The quality of the dishes is exceptional. The service is excellent.
09/11/2025: A small tavern, seating about thirty people in total, with a double dinner sitting, so reservations are required well in advance. The Tuscan cuisine is anything and everything. Truffles are the star, ranging from appetizers to main courses. Special mention goes to the homemade tagliolini with truffles and the sweet and sour hare (for connoisseurs only, certainly not for everyone). The owner is a delightful and friendly person, accustomed to working in the kitchen and with people. The portions are generous, the service is appropriate for an osteria, and the bill is absolutely reasonable, especially since the menu has price ranges. The only flaw, if we want to be honest (even though it's written on the menu, which changes daily), is that the waitress only verbally explains what's available, which can be inconvenient for those who have to make a quick decision. Anyway, if you find a place, go.

30/11/2025: What can I say, gentlemen? My compliments to this GREAT trattoria, which welcomed us as if we'd been regulars for years, not just tourists. The quality of the dishes and the FLORENTINE STEAK were truly top-notch, and the prices were decidedly un-Florentine. We had a truly wonderful time, and every time we return to Florence, I'll definitely know where to go for something delicious.

11/11/2025: If you like beef you have to try the Ossobuco alla Fiorentina, the beef was so tender, the sauce flavour it’s delicious and the potatoes very good cooked, also we tried the ravioli, very creamy and overall very good flavours, the place is cozy and not that busy at least on the time we were there November/Monday. The price is pretty decent for the tasty food you get and the service was very fast.

08/12/2025: A truly pleasant experience, the place is very welcoming and truly charming; the only flaw is the acoustics, which aren't exactly optimal. The staff is extremely friendly. The dishes are excellent, especially the first courses (the tagliatelle verdi are definitely worth mentioning, truly exquisite and delicate), but the second courses are also truly excellent. I highly recommend them, especially for their location, an exceptional village in the Val d'Orcia that's definitely worth a visit: Monticchiello.
06/12/2025: The service is excellent, as Daniele is a truly friendly, qualified, and very helpful person. The food is of an excellent standard, with dishes prepared with attention to the smallest details, and there is a wide selection of wines.

04/12/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm a foodie, passionate about cooking and a gourmand, so I have both food and cooking expertise and professional restaurant experience. I must say that this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. The atmosphere is elegant yet refined, the food is traditional and local yet gourmet, the ingredients are high-quality, and the service is excellent, friendly, warm, and professional (special mention goes to our top chef, Gianni). It's definitely worth a visit for those who haven't tried it. I'll be back soon.
03/12/2025: We called on a Saturday just an hour early and they seated us. As soon as you walk in, the Florentine steaks are in plain sight, with their cooking counter behind them. We ate typical Tuscan fare, with the Florentine steak, of course, cooked to perfection and very satisfying. Worth keeping in mind for a future trip. Adequate service, as was the bill.

17/11/2025: We’ve eaten at Ristorante Mastro Ciliegia multiple times over the years, and it has never let us down. The pizzas are phenomenal, the calzones are big enough to require a support group, but the real magic is in the primi and secondi. The risotto with asparagus is always spot-on, the peposo with whipped potatoes is pure comfort, and the true showstopper is the deceptively simple spaghetti alla carrettiera—absolute perfection on a plate. Desserts? Also fantastic. Service is warm, genuine, and exactly what you want. And the pricing is beyond reasonable for the quality. In short: consistently excellent food, honest hospitality, and a menu that keeps pulling us back year after year. Highly recommend.

24/10/2025: A dream come true! We've been wanting to go to Guido's for years, but it was never meant to be. We usually couldn't get a seat, or the timing wasn't right. Now, in July 2024, we finally made it. First things first: One of the most beautiful and best dinners we've ever had. We tour and travel a lot and have visited thousands of restaurants, but you'll hardly find anything like Guido's anywhere else in this world. But first things first: *Welcome. Coming off the promenade and turning into Guido's, you'll encounter plastic chairs and an unassuming ambiance. Nothing suggests that one of the best restaurants in Tuscany lies dormant here. We had a reservation (highly recommended by phone) and were shown to our table by a very friendly young lady. We were amazed at what followed the plastic chairs. A typical Tuscan restaurant with approximately 100 seats. We sat down in a typically Tuscan atmosphere that allowed my wife a glimpse into the kitchen and the chefs at work. She loves watching the chefs at work more than anything. * Service. Then our waiter arrived. A very pleasant man who even spoke German. We wanted to eat the set menu and were given the menu, which is in Italian and German. Positive: The menu is manageable, with about 18 dishes. We like the house wine, Vino de la Casa. First, the white wine. The wine was excellent and at the perfect temperature. Perfect! Afterward, the waiter recommended the antipasti starter, priced at €15, which is sufficient for two people. Half of it is meat-free. The appetizer is a must, typically Tuscan, and of the highest quality: the finest ham, freshly baked bread in olive oil and a special sauce, ample black olives (about 30 pieces), bread, homemade sausage (it tasted excellent, the best I've had in Italy so far), a slice of bread with sausage spread, pickled porcini mushrooms, a special highlight: fried artichokes (my wife couldn't stop eating, they were so good), cheese with a special spread and jam. It's particularly worth mentioning that you never felt rushed, even though the restaurant was sold out. At the end of the appetizer, the waiter asked for the next course. My wife had gnocchi with porcini mushrooms and sauce, a large portion easily enough for two people for 12 euros. I ordered tortellini filled with spinach and a meat sauce for 12 euros. Both were beyond reproach. A delight with a very special touch from Guido. At the end of the first course, the white wine was running low. The waiter noticed immediately, and we tried the Vino rosso de la Casa. The red wine was also a dream, perfect. * SECONDI ......Now, of course, we're still missing the national dish of Tuscany, WILD BOAR/Chinguale. Unfortunately, my wife had to stop after the first course...... because, as I said, the food was very plentiful. I ordered a small portion of wild boar in a special red wine sauce with roasted potatoes. The wild boar was very tender and soft, perfectly flavored, and combined with the local red wine, it was an explosion in the mouth. The roasted potatoes were too much for me, too. In between, I had a pleasant conversation with the waiter, who also served the neighboring guests excellently. I finished with an espresso for 2 euros, and my wife had homemade tiramisu for 5 euros. The tiramisu was amazing, and that sounds really silly, but the espresso also tasted better than I've ever tasted. with many wonderful and friendly guests. Finally, GUIDO came out of the kitchen and sat down at his table with his papers and calculator. A friendly, comforting smile from both sides and the certainty of "DOLCE VITA - CARPE DIEM" ___________________________

16/10/2025: Happened to come by this place by chance, but turned out to be one of the best meals we've had in Florence. We enjoyed the experience so much that we went back the next night with a couple of friends who were also in Florence. Good food, warm service and great atmosphere. They have a daily changing menu, but we enjoyed the zucchini and saffron pasta, pumpkin chips, fried sole with butter garlic sauce and ragu.
