13/08/2024: A tourist restaurant in a pleasant garden setting. In the kitchen, we play a well-known score, with certainly good products, without the flavors being there all the time. The wine list is serious, extensive with a very good lineup of local wineries. The service is friendly but slightly messy. In short, a pleasant table, but don't expect a culinary slap in the face.

21/08/2024: We ate some of the best pasta of our lives. Pici with Cantábrico anchovies and amberjack cappelletti: we opted for seafood options and were very happy, but the meat dishes we saw coming out also looked very appetizing!! The cappelletti were incredible: al dente, the amberjack very tasty and with the texture of real fish (not minced or overly processed); the touch of salmon roe was delicious and added freshness. What can I say about the picio: such a flavor that I seriously considered repeating it! We will be back, it's worth it!!

25/08/2024: I came here based on Google reviews and had pretty high expectations as it was my first meal in Firenze after living here 7 years ago. I brought my partner here, his first meal and first time in Firenze. For many years I have told him long tales about how amazing the food is in Firenze and how I ate my weight in pizza and pasta when I lived here. I looked like a dirty liar. I ordered the ‘Homemade Gnocci COOKED WITH STRACCIATELLA CHEESE, FINISHED WITH A TOUCH OF RED SPICY SAUCE AND CRISPY PORK CHEEK, AROMATIC HERB’, and my partner got the HOMEMADE TAGLIATELLE PASTA WITH WILD BOAR RAGÙ. Honestly the gnocchi was just not good. The edible flowers did not make up for the mediocrity of the dish. The tagliatelle required a lot of salt and pepper to make it edible. I had to work really hard after this first terrible meal to show my partner the amazing food Firenze has to offer. I could not eat the gnocchi and was offered it in a to-go bag. I promptly binned it :(. Unfortunately this was my worst meal in Firenze and it was somehow also the most expensive (75euros. Idk if we ordered wine, if so it was clearly nothing memorable). We also ordered the Bistecca and I have nothing good or bad to say about that. It was mid. Very underwhelming. I think this is a tourist trap unfortunately. I also think they are not considering the poor impression of Italian food they are leaving with people like my partner who have not been here before. 2/10 would not recommend.

06/08/2024: Que bella. Grazie mille Pandemonio. More food than you’ll ever be able to eat, and yet you’ll manage. This is the way. Primo e secondo, fantastico. Pasta molto benne. Ossobuco my oh my, falling off the bone. The star of the show, mamma’s tiramisu. Allora, Michaelangelo was wrong when he described the golden doors of the baptistry as ‘the gates of heaven’, heaven is infact reached through a bowl of this bellissimo dolce. The family there are fantastic, kind and attentive. Mon padre has been returning for years and I remember now, just why.

22/07/2024: The food kept getting better with every bite! The flavor of the risotto scampi was the best that I've had in my life. The steak Florentine was amazing. Make sure you press the rosemary into the steak before you get your bite for extra flavor. The tiramisu was so light and a perfect finish. Not like the heavy tiramisu cake elsewhere

23/08/2024: We've ordered Steaks but got a bunch of tendons on our plates! The service guy was kind but an absolutely beginner, my redwine was in my plate for example. We expected way more than this, we wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

23/08/2024: Magnificent restaurant! The staff is very nice and kind, the place is in an excellent location and wonderful. There is a wide choice for meals and as far as I'm concerned both cutting board and courgette flan are delicious

25/08/2024: Having stumbled upon it by chance, enticed by the numerous positive reviews, we actually found a location, cuisine and service that were certainly lower than expectations.

25/08/2024: The tagliolini with truffles are truly excellent even though this is not the season for truffles. Very friendly staff, minimal waiting times. Price appropriate for the quality of the food.

16/06/2024: Locale piccolo ma accogliente, personale molto gentile; l’attesa è stata ripagata con pietanze di straordinaria qualità, dalle tagliatelle al tartufo a quelle al divino ragù bianco di chianina; per non parlare del cheesecake e delle altre prelibatezze dolci!! Ottimo anche il rapporto qualità/prezzo, se siete a Cortona fermata obbligatoria!

09/06/2024: The Tagliatelle al Ragu Bianco di Cinta Senese was EXCELLENT! Just simple but very tasty. Husband enjoyed the Pici all’Aglione very much, but he was expecting more “oomph” from his salsicce e Fagioli, I think. The Tortino di Patate con Formaggio al Tartufo was delicious! Not thrilled about the raw sliced zucchini with blasamic glaze on the side, however. Our friend enjoyed her Filetto di Chianina and it was beautiful, but it came with a side of chips, which seemed a bit pedestrian compared to the beautiful beef. Overall, the good was really good and we were happy. Worth a return to try other dishes as well.

19/07/2024: A nice spin on the spicy carbonara, instead of creamy it was crunchy bits of meat and cheese with a slight spice to it. Very tasty!

18/07/2024: We had a very nice experience. Small neighborhood restaurant in a very quiet and welcoming street, just like the staff! The dishes were really delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant!

08/08/2024: Heerlijk eten! Een keuze menu kost er maar €30,- en je krijgt meer eten dan je op kunt. En alles is heerlijk. Lieve mensen, je ziet dat het een familiebedrijf is. En dat ze allemaal hun best om je een fijne avond te bezorgen
