03/05/2026: An excellent dining experience at this historic restaurant in Caprese Michelangelo, family-run for decades and offering a very good value. Start with a house platter, accompanied by warm, freshly fried focaccia, a delicious truffle salad, warm soufflés, and fried porcini mushrooms. The first courses are homemade and fully reflect the flavors of the region. Second courses include grilled pork, veal, and lamb, or, for those who prefer, a plate of local cheeses. You can finish on a sweet note with creamy custards, biscotti, or homemade tartlets. Oh... the house wine from nearby Umbria is highly recommended. Much credit to Alfredo, his partner, and their entire staff!

30/04/2026: We went to Cerro for lunch, and had a mixed antipasto and two first courses. The dishes were truly delicious. The hint of porcini mushrooms in the dishes was wonderful! The setting is very beautiful and well-kept.

26/04/2026: Simply superb! Exquisite Tuscan cuisine! A wine cellar with an intoxicating selection! A wonderful ambiance, whether inside the cozy grotto or on the airy terrace with its stunning sea view. Very friendly service! The Prosecco and amuse-bouche upon arrival were complimentary.

26/04/2026: This is our umpteenth time here: It's the highlight of Tuscan gastronomy, reservations are a must, and you absolutely have to try the menus. We come back every time and are always thrilled with the quality, the atmosphere, and the friendliness. Still top-notch.

06/04/2026: Today, April 6, 2026, we visited this restaurant in Sansepolcro. The Florentine restaurant Locanda del Giglio. Michele, my wife, and I were there. It was a truly atmospheric lunch, made even more magical by the music of a talented pianist: Donati. The dishes were expertly crafted by a Michelin-starred chef, yet retain the authenticity and flavors that only the finest ingredients can provide. The warm welcome and friendly atmosphere of the owners and waitresses made everything perfect. I would mention them all, but I'd particularly like to mention two, Vittoria and Violetta. Rarely has such a successful combination of fine dining and human warmth been found. The prices are affordable and consistent with the high quality. I'm pleased to highlight the natural empathy between the owners, waitresses, and customers. Anyone looking to spend a wonderful day in Sansepolcro cannot miss this restaurant.

10/05/2026: A warm welcome and quality traditional Italian cuisine await us. We visited this establishment twice during our stay, and each time it was an exceptional and unique experience. Absolutely not a tourist trap. We tried both the terrace and the dining room, both outstanding experiences. Truly high-quality food. A place just steps from Piazza della Signoria and Ponte Vecchio, yet without the crowds. I highly recommend it!

02/04/2026: We went here for lunch and I have to say everything was excellent. The atmosphere was very refined, the staff knowledgeable and helpful. We ate a variety of dishes, from appetizers to tortelli to the roast. The wild boar tortelli were amazing!

12/04/2026: A comfortable place to watch spectacular sunsets. Kindness and friendliness are complemented by a menu dedicated to meat lovers; cured meats and cheeses make all the difference. The 1.2kg steak was the star. Recommended.

01/05/2026: A truly beautiful place located at the entrance to the medieval village, very spacious, beautifully laid out, and extremely friendly. Quick service and delicious dishes. The gnocchi were excellent, the chickpea soup was delicious, and the chickpeas were well-cooked. Usually, you risk finding them raw, but these were perfect. The eggplant tart was exceptional, and the white wine was good. Truly well done.

26/04/2026: We had lunch because we were guests of the agriturismo, which is part of the same management. Prices were reasonable. Good appetizers and main courses. Very welcoming place with the option of sitting inside or outside. Very friendly and welcoming service. The only downside was that the waiter, although friendly and polite, was in a tracksuit...you can't see him.

04/01/2026: Evening with friends. A very warm and welcoming rustic location. Friendly staff. They welcomed us with bruschetta with wild tomatoes. We ordered/ate: very good appetizers (farmer's cheese, pickles, olives, cold cuts, cheeses, flan and panzanella/fried coccoli) and a truly fragrant, flavorful, and well-topped pizza. All accompanied by beer (carafe/artisanal bottles), water, coffee, limoncello/amaro, also offered by the staff. A truly wonderful discovery. Excellent value. We will definitely be back to try the main courses. Reservations recommended.

22/12/2025: The location is really lovely and charming. I only had takeout pizza, which was good and had a wide variety of ingredients. The staff, all of them, were kind and helpful. I made a reservation, and they were very punctual and attentive.

The waitress is always kind and ready to accommodate your every need. But the highlight of the restaurant is the food. One word: SUPERLATIVE... Everything was perfect... Thank you for your hospitality, we'll definitely be back...
