10/08/2024: Only words of praise for this place. The home cooking, with original ingredients from the area, will only give you rewards. Extremely helpful, friendly and competent staff. Their unique and daily menu will win you over. Access is also for your four-legged friends. The cost of the service will surprise you, you will think they were wrong. I recommend this place to all people who love to eat well but spend little. I advise you to call for reservations, it is always busy.

01/08/2024: Tonight we experienced a magical evening/dinner. Our Host made reservations at la cecca lucca. Only one word can describe this evening WOW! Our waiter, Emanuel, was full of smiles and Tuscany kindness. This is the first time we ordered appetizers, salad, main course, a bottle of wine and dessert. Everything was delicious and our total bill was shockingly very affordable for the quality and quantity. We ate like locals for 2 1/2 hours. The evening breezes were lovely. As we lay in bed I am surprised that I don’t feel uncomfortably stuffed. We are looking forward to the leftovers. Goodnight Tuscany ❤️❤️🇮🇹❤️❤️

27/08/2024: After years I managed to spend an evening in this restaurant. The expectations were not disappointed but I would have preferred to receive a slightly more pampered service. Good and innovative dishes in a city strongly rooted in the territory. Excellent wine list, definitely worth trying is the wine shop with small kitchen.

28/08/2024: Given the excellent reviews we decided to try this restaurant. Upon our arrival they tell us that the table is not ready yet so they offer us a bubble and some appetizers (small things but which are always nice). The table was located on the wooden veranda overlooking the street and, noting that they also have an outdoor garden, I ask if it would be possible to have a table there. At this point the staff tries in every way to please us and I must say that they were really very kind and friendly and after a while of waiting (in which they stopped by every now and then to see if we needed anything) they let us sit. The wait was worth it, the garden, although small, is a jewel with a central tree that acts as a roof and is all lit up. I personally had pappardelle with wild boar and pheasant as a second course, a dish not easy to find in restaurants, all excellent and plentiful. For dessert, how can we not recommend the dessert apocalypse. A truly pleasant experience and thanks to the truly kind and nice dining room staff.

24/08/2024: If I could I would give more stars! As soon as you finish dinner, what can I say: Very kind staff, and superlative food, all homemade! ...And you can feel it!...and you can appreciate it! Informal environment but cleanliness and quality at the highest levels, much better than some "starred" places. But let's go back to the food: the pickles, very good, have the flavor of the past, in short, like grandma used to make them! The Maremma tortelloni with ragù...the best of my life, and I have been scouring the Maremma for 60 years. And what can we say about the Cinta Senese steak? A triumph of taste and delicacy, which is very difficult for this specialty, it is so strong in its own right that making it delicate without dulling the flavors is truly masterful. Well done! Location of a trattoria from times gone by, very familiar, beautiful. Very honest account. You leave with a smile, and not just because of the super nice owners. We'll see each other again, many times.

25/08/2024: Locale molto bello. Si può mangiare sia dentro che fuori e il cibo è buonissimo. Prezzi nella norma. Nonostante ci fossero state un 150 persone o forse anche di più, il servizio è stato molto veloce. Bravi. Da riprovare con amici.

18/08/2024: Cena molto molto soddisfacente. Siamo partiti con un antipasto toscano, in cui spiccano le olive (mai assaggiate di così buone) e dei pomodori secchi spaziali. Anche il flan era molto buono. Successivamente abbiamo preso dei ravioli con pecorino pere e noci che sono stati davvero buoni, si sentiva poco la pera ma nel complesso promossi e il filetto che é stata la perla della cena a parer mio. Da bere un rosso di Montecarlo che per quello che costava (poco) mi ha stupito. Completano la cena due dessert, ovvero un tiramisù, che era nella norma e un semifreddo con pere e cioccolato, piuttosto buono. Conto: 80 euro Ah, i due bovari sono troppo teneri.
