01/12/2025: A wonderful experience! Every dish is delicious and fresh! Lobster is very juicy and nice! Table service is also thoughtful and kind!

30/11/2025: Staff were friendly and decor was not too overpowering We've been here over the last 10+ years and although the menu changes, the quality of the food doesn't. The food prices sadly have increased and the portion sizes of the pasta dishes have reduced a little, such is life. They seem to have switched their pizzas to more long pizzas but they are still good and worth coming here for or take away. 100% recommended, but as with all things, food shrinkflation. Highly recommend the fiorentina Steak dishes here, not the 1kg one, but the 650g scottona which was amazing after all these years. The 1kg is really pricey imo, other establishments charge around 65/kg not 85/kg which this place does

10/12/2025: We had lunch here on Sunday. After reading all the reviews, we decided to come here, and I have to say we were quite satisfied. The food was good, and the atmosphere was typical of a Tuscan trattoria, just the way we like it. Excellent value for money! We'll definitely return when we're in the Florence area.

07/12/2025: Every time I return to Florence, this stop is a must, and I swear by the lovingly prepared and served delicacies, prepared and presented by the very friendly and kind owner, Mr. Luciano. The service is impeccable, and the meat is of the highest quality—the best Florentine steak in the area—is complemented by exceptional traditional Tuscan dishes washed down with excellent wines. And, as if that weren't enough, the welcoming and intimate restaurant is located right in the center, just steps from Florence's artistic treasures. Highly recommended.

17/11/2025: Spent a week in Italy. My favorite meal came from here, had the cheese wheel pasta and wild boar ragu. Service great, food great, and atmosphere great. I would return if ever back in Italy.

23/11/2025: Definitely worth a try! We, a couple, had lunch at this restaurant on a random Sunday. Luckily, we found a table and enjoyed their menu. The place is small but pleasant and intimate. Recommended!

31/10/2025: This review is intended to highlight the owner's rudeness and arrogance. First of all, I went for dinner last Sunday. The food was okay, no hair-pulling, and in line with expectations. The service was equally as good. The only negative note was a guy who was talking about football in a loud voice, delighting half the room who didn't give a damn about his passion... Anyway, yesterday, Thursday, I booked for 7:30 PM. I arrived at 7:12 PM and the big boss showed up with a stern, reproachful tone and told me that the restaurant opens at 7:30 PM. I replied, "Look, I'm on a bike, I'm completely soaked. I sat down, had a glass of wine to warm up, and waited for the time to arrive. At this point, he turned to the waiter and said, 'You can sit down and stay,' but he won't bring you anything until 7:30 PM. At this point, I thought, 'Okay,' I sat down and waited for this damned quarter of an hour, and he urged the waiter to sit down but not to bring anything. At this point, I turned my back and left... You can serve the best food on the planet, but you're prehistoric, arrogant, and extremely rude. Goodbye to you and yours. Fiorentina (team) I'll answer your obvious answer, like the winter sales. You're shamelessly lying. I wasn't expecting anything; I just wanted to sit down to warm up. You have no courtesy, no manners, no hospitality, and you're very, very presumptuous... good luck to you. My colleague, I've been doing the same job for the same number of years, and in 30 years, I've never dared to mistreat anyone who feeds me!

23/10/2025: A hidden gem in beautiful Sorano!!! We had a wonderful dinner today. The mushroom soup was one of the best I've ever had, and the veal and lamb were all delicious. The side dishes were also top-notch – beans, rosemary potatoes, and a Caprese salad. Desserts included crema catalana and cantucci. The staff was very polite. The prices were reasonable. We definitely recommend it!!!

09/11/2025: Small but welcoming, just a few steps from the Duomo, it's a typical Tuscan osteria like those of the past. The dishes are cooked using authentic, original recipes and excellent ingredients. My Pappa al Pomodoro and Cacio e Pepe are exceptional. The desserts and wine are good. The attentive service and friendly staff are also excellent. The prices are also good. You can find them in Amsterdam and New York.

01/11/2025: Very old fashioned atmosphere , a little strange we were seated in a side conservatory , and the main restaurant space with the open fire wasn’t full ?…. the florentine steak for two was excellent and delicious, very small side portion of potatoes , but v good . Bean side order very bland and beans slightly undercooked.
