31/07/2025: Mi esposa y yo hemos estado dos veces en este pintoresco restaurante. La primera vez tuvimos la Estaca de Carne y la Cutlet de Cerdo con verduras condimentadas. Ambos estaban deliciosos húmedos y llenos de sabor. La segunda vez optamos por compartir el plato de parrilla mixta, con verduras condimentadas y patatas fritas. Que era suficiente para 2 personas. Oce de nuevo delicioso y a un precio muy razonable. Recomendamos encarecidamente este restaurante. El personal era muy eficiente y muy amable.

03/08/2025: To start, I had crostini with liver pâté and tomatoes. The pâté was rich and full of flavor, and the tomato crostino was fresh and nicely seasoned with herbs. For the main course, I had pappardelle with cinghiale (wild boar). The sauce was hearty, and the chunks of meat gave it a great texture. For dessert, I had the gluten-free chocolate cake — thick and creamy, perfect with some coffee after a meal. The service was excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and cozy.

18/08/2025: We had lunch with two appetizers and two first courses. Excellent food and very friendly staff. A few steps from the Duomo. Highly recommended.

15/08/2025: The place is unique and beautiful, very welcoming and bright. The staff is very helpful, kind, and knowledgeable. The variety of dishes is more than satisfactory, the quality of the products is excellent, and the prices are more than fair. A must-visit when visiting Florence.

10/08/2025: Invited by the reviews, before going back to work we decided to try this restaurant. It was me, my wife and dog, who was welcome, everything confirmed with traditional Tuscan cuisine, delicious Alpine fillet, young, friendly waiting staff with fast service despite the busy evening. Which doesn't hurt, not so obvious... clean and well-appointed restrooms. Oh I forgot, we will be back for the pizzas which looked promising... Well done! ps Back for our anniversary, a sure thing as always! Everything top, looking forward to trying the pizzas.

05/08/2025: Sei amante della bistecca? Qui trovi quello che cercavi. Ambiente informale ma curato, atmosfera rilassata. La bistecca è assurda: cotta alla perfezione ... sulla brace, succosa al centro e croccante all’esterno, frollata alla perfezione. Il sapore della carne si apre piano, pieno, deciso. Servizio familiare, veloce e cortese. Contorni semplici ma ben eseguiti: spinaci saltati in padella, patate arrosto. Il tutto valorizza la protagonista: la bistecca. Dolci fatti in casa buonissimi. Qualità alta, prezzo giusto, esperienza che conquista. Un must per i carnivori che passano da Firenze.

25/07/2025: Exceptional cuisine. A remarkable welcome. We ordered meat with vegetables... we really enjoyed it. We received excellent advice. We highly recommend it. And to top it all off, it's reasonably priced. Don't hesitate; you'll have a wonderful time. A little difficult to find online, which is a shame, because this restaurant is well worth the detour.

12/07/2025: Siamo stati da Tullio a Montebeni in cinque persone e l’esperienza è stata semplicemente perfetta dall’inizio alla fine. Gli antipasti toscani ci hanno subito conquistato: sapori autentici, porzioni generose e ingredienti di qualità. Come primi abbiamo ordinato due piatti diversi le tagliatelle al ragù e i pici alla salsiccia entrambi straordinari. Il secondo, però, è stato il vero colpo di scena: una bistecca fritta incredibile, croccante fuori e tenera dentro, un piatto che da solo vale il viaggio. A chiudere il tutto, i dolci della casa, che si sono rivelati fenomenali: genuini, fatti in casa e pieni di carattere, proprio come ci si aspetta da una trattoria toscana con una lunga tradizione. Il servizio è stato caloroso e attento, e il rapporto qualità-prezzo assolutamente onesto. Un posto dove si mangia bene, si sta bene e si ha voglia di tornare. Consigliatissimo!

07/07/2025: Compleanno di mio marito, prenoto il 28 giugno per il pranzo del 6 di luglio, consigliata per fargli assaggiare sta bistecca fritta partiamo entusiasti. La premessa è che io lavoro al pubblico e nella ristorazione collettiva aziendale, so bene come ci si comporta con il cliente ma andiamo avanti. Entriamo e già mentre ci avviciniamo alla sala, il titolare ci ferma con un “gentilissimo”: “voi? dite!” serio e preoccupato come se fossimo entrati col passamontagna ci chiede se abbiamo prenotato e lì inizia il calvario di lui avanti e indietro che mi dice che la mia prenotazione non esiste, reagisce come se volessimo scroccargli da mangiare, tiro fuori il telefono e dimostro chiamata, durata della chiamate e data. Aggiungo anche di aver parlato con una ragazza. Ci pianta all’ingresso e inizia a scrutare l’agenda, circondato da ragazze serie come quadri, ogni tanto ripassa e ci dice “io non ce l’ho la prenotazione” al che m’inalbero e spiego che il problema è suo, e se deve farla parecchio lunga possiamo andare da un’altra parte, non tralasciando il fatto che mi hai già rovinato il pranzo. Con sufficienza ci indica un tavolo e ci dice “c’ho questo se vi va bene”. Non sono venuta via giusto per non rovinare del tutto la giornata. Ai tavoli accanto feste e sorrisi, a noi pareva una mamma frustrata che deve tagliare la braciola al figliolo. Unica nota di umanità è stato il gesto di un signore dello staff che mi ha espresso solidarietà per il trattamento riservatoci. Bistecca senza wow, preferisco la brace. sicuramente non è una questione di cibo ma di rispetto di TUTTI i clienti, che anche se non sono vip o amici vi portano soldi che valgono come tutti gli altri. Conto scontato prima di 6€ poi di altri 10€ ma pure se me l’avesse azzerato non ci torneremo sicuramente mai più, diamo valore ai soldi e preferiamo finiscano in tasche più umili. Pessimo.

07/08/2025: Siamo stati a cena io e mia moglie in questa bellissima locanda,l'accoglienza ed il servizio sono stati eccellenti,il titolare e le sue ragazze preparati e simpatici,il cibo è stato squisito dall'antipasto al dolce,il panorama sulle colline al tramonto meraviglioso. Il rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.Lo consiglio vivamente.

02/08/2025: Sono stato in questo ristorante per il mio compleanno. Non ci tornavo da molto tempo e devo dire che gli standard sono rimasti molto buoni. Un tempo, parlo di 15 anni fa cucchietta era una trattoria rustica e rispetto a prima è migliorata molto. Per quanto riguarda il cibo, posso dire che è tutto molto buono e, tutto sommato, la spesa è poco sopra la media. Merita davvero

21/07/2025: Increíble comida y servicio en un restaurante encantador - el restaurante era tranquilo porque era el fin de semana y la mayoría de los clientes locales normales habían escapado del calor de la ciudad a las playas. Como el restaurante era tranquilo los propietarios del restaurante - una madre y su hijo, fueron tan atentos en ayudarnos a tomar decisiones de menú y vino. Nos ofrecieron una copa de prosecco de cortesía mientras decidimos. al final de nuestra comida y cuando no pudimos decidir sobre qué postre compartir simplemente sacaron ambos postres pero se negaron a cobrar por el segundo, diciendo simplemente querían que lo probáramos, que nos encantaría! ¡Lo hicimos! Gran hospitalidad y una maravillosa experiencia gastronómica. Gracias.

04/07/2025: Amazing Maremma tortelli, good cold cuts and wild boar... too bad that having booked at the last minute they reserved the place inside (hot) for us without having warned us first... and made us wait too long for the wild boar while at the other tables everything had already been served..... anyway definitely worth going for tortelli both with ragù and butter and sage.... specify tables outside which being high up in Tirli is also "fresh"

20/07/2025: Posto incantevole ma ci fermiamo qui. L’acqua ce l’hanno portata 40 minuti dopo esserci seduti, insieme ai menu dopo averla sollecitata… lasciamo perdere che una ciotolina per il cane era gradita… nemmeno considerato. I camerieri vagano fra i tavoli senza degnarci di attenzione. Dopo un’ora arrivano contemporaneamente gli ordini di mia moglie e nulla per me, vengo redarguito dal cameriere che mi dice che ho sbagliato ad ordinare… seguono scuse a profusione dopo la mia reazione. Arriva il filetto che mi ero raccomandato al sangue praticamente bollito, seguono altre scuse e devo dire che, cosa molto rara, non viene messo nel conto e di questo devo riconoscere il bel gesto. Anche il titolare alla cassa si scusa, dispiace lasciare recensioni negative ma non ci siamo proprio, era molto che non andavamo fuori a cena e volevamo goderci la serata.

13/08/2025: A trattoria outside the city center that exceeded our expectations. A well-maintained place offering warm service and a moderate portion of well-prepared dishes, not touristy (finally!) but consistent with the restaurant's game-based theme. The pappardelle are excellent, and if available, I recommend the wood pigeon sauce because I think it's the best in the area.

17/08/2025: Wow, finally a great restaurant 100% Tuscan tradition! We really loved our time there. Julio, the waiter, was super friendly and gave good advice, without ever forcing your hand. The quality of the wine and especially the meat is just crazy. Everything is homemade, you can taste the true taste of the land. A true traditional restaurant just the way we like them. I recommend it with my eyes closed for a real dive into Tuscan gastronomy!

The food was delicious, prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. The traditional Tuscan dishes are cooked with passion: simple, plentiful, and authentic, just as you'd expect from a historic trattoria. Every course was a pleasure—authentic flavors, generous portions, and an aroma that captivates you from the first glance. The service was kind, cheerful, and attentive—in short...we had a wonderful time!
