I came hoping to have the fish dish on Friday, but it seems they don't have any. So I ordered chicken, but that was a mistake. I should have ordered beef. If you're coming for lunch, I recommend arriving 20 minutes early.

This is my favourite place to eat in the world. The food is fantastic, the staff are amazing and the price is unbeatable. I have eaten at Mario’s in 1996, 2000, and 2018 and the quality has never wavered. Been back almost yearly since 2020. Fills up quick, but they know me by name now, so I can always squeeze in some where. Know for their Bistecca Florentina, but I would say their Roast Pork is their greatest dish. Truly a hidden gem in the side streets for Firenze.

Excellent service, delicious pasta 🍝, the meat 🥩 was the best I've ever had in a restaurant, and the price was very reasonable. It's worth much more. Well done to the whole team!

Fantastic food with fantastic service. The waitress was extremely warm and friendly despite us having very limited Italian. Would highly recommend. Came here twice, once for the ragu and another time for the steak, potatoes, and zuccini. The food was wonderful each and everytime. The house wine is also fantastic and very cheap.

It's a quaint and quirky vibe for sure! Tradition and consistency can be felt throughout this establishment. Don't expect anything fancy, but the food is solid. Delicious and fresh. Other reviews weren't kidding about the medium rare steak 😬 but honestly, it was very well seasoned and it paired well with the pasta dishes. The undercooked pork wasn't in our wheelhouse as much, but it did taste good though. When in Florence, try local food like this. You won't regret it.

This is the real deal, world class dining experience. Noisy and crampt but incredible service, great wine and a daily menu. And it's good value! I strongly recommend the chianti.

04/07/2026: Welcoming staff and excellent menu.
03/07/2026: Local restaurant atmosphere just off the main square, which made it quiet but central. We had a superb meal which was very clearly made with care and attention, bruschetta to start followed by pasta, steak and a side salad. The food was served by lovely people who were very attentive. The owner even took the time to have a short chat after dinner. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking delicious Italian food and a very pleasant atmosphere.

29/06/2026: We stayed for two days in Florence. I was very lucky indeed to figure out this small and exquisite restaurant. One of the best seafood pasta i've ever had. The service was formidable too. Next time i will bring more time to enjoy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND
28/06/2026: This was one of the best experiences we've had in Florence. We had a group of 3 people. Owner super nice and 10/10 customers service. Now I now why they have Michelin every years.highly recommend this place. My last day in here I wish I can find this restaurant earlier than I can try all their food.love this place. Love people on here. MUST TRY. Good food and very good prices.
