09/06/2025: Coccolino is a sure thing! Excellent meat, a very interesting wine list with very honest prices. Discovered a few months ago, it is already my favorite restaurant. The staff is kind and welcoming, the tables are well spaced from each other, the owner has the charm of an innkeeper from another time, attentive to every request. If you are in the area and you want meat, this is the right place!!! And the bill is always reasonable! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

07/06/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at the Coccolino restaurant in Cecina during our trip to Tuscany, and we can say without hesitation that it was one of the best gastronomic experiences we have ever had! The meat was simply exceptional - tender, tasty, cooked to perfection ... truly the best we have ever eaten! A special thanks goes to Danny, the waiter who looked after us throughout the evening: professional, kind and with always spot-on advice. He recommended specialties from the menu with passion and expertise, making the experience even more enjoyable and authentic. A place that we highly recommend to anyone who wants to taste the best of Tuscan cuisine in a welcoming and well-kept atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

You can feel the positive vibe within the team, and this is brilliantly passed on to the guests. A fantastic place to enjoy great Tuscan cuisine. Add to that a sensational selection of local wines. 07/06/2025: Con il nostro centro diurno dalla provincia di Torino, siamo stati in soggiorno nei pressi di Piombino e abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare da Balestra. La location è accogliente, curata nei dettagli e perfetta per trascorrere una serata in tranquillità. Il cibo è ottimo, preparato con attenzione e ingredienti di qualità. Una nota speciale va al signor Marco, che ci ha accolti con simpatia e disponibilità, facendoci sentire davvero i benvenuti. Un’esperienza molto positiva che consigliamo con piacere!

15/05/2025: We were waiting from 20:00 until 20:30 in front of the restaurant but it stayed closed. We were really disappointed that there wasn’t any notice of it being closed on that day!! Not coming back.

14/05/2025: We were at Osteria Il Sigillo with a large group: 18 adults and 9 children. From the moment we were welcomed we felt pampered and well looked after. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive to everyone's needs, including the little ones. The menu was able to please every palate: tasty and well-prepared dishes for omnivores, but also excellent vegetarian options, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. From starters to desserts, every course was a success. The children were happy with their dedicated portions and the space was perfect to allow them to move around peacefully. A special thanks to the staff for the impeccable management of such a large group: right timing, smiles and great professionalism. Highly recommended for dinners with friends, families and large groups!

17/06/2025: Non lo consiglio assolutamente.......il cameriere anziano e' un buon venditore per fregare la gente! Ci ha proposto un menù a 100 euro poi ci ha fatto pagare 169.50!! Almeno avessimo mangiato bene!!! Sicuramente non ci ritorneremo!!

08/06/2025: Cameriere con gli occhiali accento del sud disonesto e furbo,mangiato un antipasto in due e una bistecca di chianina alquanto vomitevole stracotta e vecchia dove il cameriere insinuava che era 1.9 kg ma sarà stata neanche 1.5kg,non andateci disonesti,rubano soldi alle persone tutto questo scempio al prezzo di 213€

18/06/2025: We just had dinner here and were absolutely delighted! The food was freshly prepared and arrived at the table hot and incredibly delicious – definitely worth the wait. The waitress was very friendly and spoke good English. Our dog was welcome both inside and outside, and even got a bowl of water. The outdoor area is next to a street, but since the restaurant is located on a rather quiet road, it didn’t bother us at all. Highly recommend!

10/06/2025: The environment is very nice, there is also a small outdoor space. The food is excellent and the ingredients are of good quality. I ate a hamburger, nothing short of phenomenal, very good and tasty. If you want, there is also the typical Tuscan cuisine. They use fresh and good quality products. The owner of the place and the waitress are very nice. If you book with The Fork there is a 30% discount. This place in the center of Cecina was a pleasant discovery, highly recommended.

07/06/2025: We hebben hier met ons gezin gegeten en genoten van het prachtige uitzicht en de ontzettend vriendelijke service. De vrouw in de bediening begreep ons niet altijd even goed – we hadden onze bruschetta graag als voorgerecht gewild, maar deze kwam tegelijk met het hoofdgerecht. Geen ramp, dat kan gebeuren. Qua eten vonden we de ribbetjes en worstjes wat aan de eenvoudige kant. De lasagna en Toscaanse spaghetti voor ons zoontje waren prima in orde. Over het algemeen is het eten prima, maar niet bijzonder. Wat deze plek echt bijzonder maakt, is de kindvriendelijkheid. Er is leuk speeltuintje aanwezig, waar je vanaf je tafel goed zicht op hebt. Ons zoontje van 1,5 kreeg zelfs zijn eigen kinderbestek – heel attent! Er werd zelfs spontaan speelgoed naar hem toe gebracht. Geweldig! We hebben geen stilzitter, dus voor ons was dit een ideale en ontspannen plek om als gezin te eten. Alleen al voor de sfeer, het uitzicht en de kindvriendelijkheid komen we hier graag nog eens terug.

07/05/2025: The location helps this little town tavern a lot which presents itself as a trendy grill restaurant, a little outside the box...forget the fundamental rules of welcoming good food and settle for burnt meats, lukewarm wines and an environment bordering on filthy.....ah, yes...the steak is not native...I usually eat Ori and I know the difference!!

22/04/2025: You should put the same effort you had into denigrating vegetarians and vegans to instead find a reason why people should come to your place. Rest assured that vegans don't even think about approaching your restaurant without the need for 'vegan stay away from me' or 'the florist is in Donoratico' signs. The really sad thing is that you think you're funny too...

21/06/2025: A very nice restaurant in a truly great location with a great view. The food was okay, but nothing more. The price was very high, though. Some of the meat was raw. After complaining, nothing was done. They should have asked the customer how they wanted their meat when ordering – unfortunately, this wasn't done. There's not much choice for children, making it difficult. We ate at the restaurant, not the pizzeria, which is right next door.

16/06/2025: antipastone at 18 euros and two chianina tartare at 14 euros each, absolutely excellent quality. Excellent dessert and bottle of Ornellaia wine. Everything perfect including the price.

09/06/2025: The food was good, we only had a small snack. There were two waitresses; one was at the next table and was very friendly and accommodating to customer requests. The other was with us, and I've rarely seen such an unfriendly and unmotivated waitress. Plates were cleared while people were still chewing.
