06/04/2026: Hilltop village, parking is a 10-minute walk from the restaurant, following the village mule track all the way uphill. A small but charming village, the restaurant is within the village, a house renovated as a restaurant, probably because from the outside it looks like a common home, but once you enter, you realize you've come to the right place. The view immediately catches your eye: the first two rooms on the ground floor are set up with tables and sea views. The waiter leads the way. You go up to the third terrace on the first floor, passing through the second room on the left, where you'll find a steep staircase with narrow steps but a handrail, also offering a beautiful view. The rustic-style tables give the setting a unique feel. Meat-based menu, limited selection, some dishes were missing. The food is good, although the peppers in the appetizer were very salty. The house appetizer included a platter of cured meats, crostini, and a vegetable tart, plus pickled vegetables for €14. A very good ravioli with meat sauce was €14. Finally, a dessert cost €6, plus water, about €40 per person. The place is clean and well-kept. It's worth it, but bring comfortable, flat shoes.

04/01/2026: Evening with friends. A very warm and welcoming rustic location. Friendly staff. They welcomed us with bruschetta with wild tomatoes. We ordered/ate: very good appetizers (farmer's cheese, pickles, olives, cold cuts, cheeses, flan and panzanella/fried coccoli) and a truly fragrant, flavorful, and well-topped pizza. All accompanied by beer (carafe/artisanal bottles), water, coffee, limoncello/amaro, also offered by the staff. A truly wonderful discovery. Excellent value. We will definitely be back to try the main courses. Reservations recommended.

22/12/2025: The location is really lovely and charming. I only had takeout pizza, which was good and had a wide variety of ingredients. The staff, all of them, were kind and helpful. I made a reservation, and they were very punctual and attentive.

Excellent food, courteous and discreet staff, prices absolutely in line with the quality and execution... In short, for us, coming from Rome, it's the TOP!!! Highly recommended 😉👍🔝

09/03/2026: As soon as we entered, we had some doubts about the restaurant's quality, but we later changed our minds. Upstairs, you enter an old apartment, with Arte Povera furniture, terracotta floors, and very tastefully decorated. The tables are spaced just right, and there's little noise, so you can talk comfortably. A family-run restaurant, very cheerful, friendly, and attentive to the customer's needs. A real competition between the tagliolini with truffle and the fritto misto, chicken, rabbit, and vegetables! The glass of house red wine was also good. The price was reasonable for the quality of the dishes.

Finally, a place where you can feel at home and where the welcome is certainly there: unusual, but we loved it. The owner is a real nice guy!!!!! The girls are also lovely, kind, and very friendly. 05/04/2026: A fantastic place to eat in Lucca! The food was excellent, the service impeccable, and the waiter very friendly! The setting was lovely! I highly recommend it. P.S.: Just a quick note about the dessert, which wasn't quite what we expected (walnut ice cream), but the waiter offered us two limoncellos to make up for it… what more could you ask for… 😄👍

12/04/2026: In my mind, I'm still sitting outside in the sunshine enjoying a lovely dish. Initially I wasn't quite sure. Busy lunch hour, staff came and go, and no one acknowledge me even though I had my 7 year old with me. I do my best not to take it personally, but as someone who's worked years on end in customer service, it takes 3 seconds to do that and win a customer. Nevertheless, it was all worthwhile as the staff found us a table outside and carried genuine smiles along the way. Very efficient, for what was a wonderful meal, that initial feeling faded and ended up being a nice experience that I'd recommend you having. There's plenty to pick from, including Lasagne and other traditional dishes from Tuscany. My only sorrow is not being able to explore their menu further, but it's definitely worth mentioning the homemade pasta goes a long distance - you should know that already. Decently priced, very nice service, you can sit indoors or outdoors, in a quiet piazza. It's hard to find a more Italian lifestyle experience in Lucca than this one, so treat yourself to it.
