28/12/2024: Friday evening, we went for a retirement dinner, we ate a rich Tuscan starter, red onions and olives, homemade ravioli with sage, pappardelle with sauce, sliced ​​with rocket and parmesan, Sorana beans and finally a vast mix of desserts. Crowded place, flask of wine from the home, When it was finished, the waiters took it, the flask and went to the barrel and filled it. Highly recommended place, clean toilets, I will return

27/11/2024: I was there for lunch. I had some pappardelle with wild boar ragù, excellent and served quickly. The peculiarity is that the ragù is not minced but with the meat cut with a knife. But not only that: this place offers only fresh pasta first courses and the pappardelle pasta I tried was actually good. Then I had redone chops as a second course (basically, a breaded chop sautéed in tomato and caper sauce). Good and plentiful. All accompanied by a glass of house Sangiovese. Prices from the historic center. The nice atmosphere and the attentive and fast service.

01/01/2025: We chose this place for the convenience of our accommodation and the very nice reviews which we confirm with full marks. Aside from the beauty of the location, the food was phenomenal! As soon as we arrived they brought us hot focaccia with delicious olive oil. 4 of us had a Tuscan platter plus the Florentine steak with fried potatoes and 4 delicious desserts. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

08/12/2024: A simply exceptional Tuscan lunch, an environment a little far from the center of Pistoia (10 minutes by car, or a half-hour walk), where tradition reigns supreme, without giving up. I ate, among other things, crostini exactly as my grandmother made them, an exquisite ham and many other specialties, at a price, I must say, that was right for the quality, courtesy and elegance of the structure.

15/12/2024: Truly evocative typical Tuscan environment Impeccable service and courtesy. For this reason I would suggest serving the dishes in more traditional dishes and not in single portions. A flaw in my opinion that needs to be reviewed is the fried cod that was served to us as street food in bite-sized pieces and too dry!!!! I expected it to be at least typical as a slice!!!! Portion of desserts a little small and the coffee is undrinkable!!!! Prices too high for a tavern.....

17/12/2024: Historic place in Valdinievole which has preserved tradition and quality over time. A simple place with details that distinguish the route, all the food is freshly made and the quality/price ratio is truly excellent. Helpful staff and service without too much waiting. Advised.

14/01/2025: One of those places you go with high expectations, where you expect to be "pampered", eat and drink well (it has a remarkable wine cellar with a wide choice) and... and meets expectations! I've been there for lunch, for dinner, during the week and on weekends. You feel at home, trained staff who serve you at the table, pamper you with care and courtesy and high-level cuisine, skilled hands who know how to work quality raw materials Well done, really good!
