15/12/2025: Excellent dinner, but there are some mistakes to avoid during service, including using detergent/sanitizer to clean the table next to you while you're eating (if it's mandatory, at least avoid spraying it).

14/12/2025: This restaurant is a bit overrated, given its appearance on the TV show. The food is certainly good, but nothing special. The atmosphere is nice, and the service is more than good. The bill is moderately high.

14/12/2025: Very good and carefully prepared dishes from the Matera/Lucania tradition, the staff is very friendly yet discreet. Prices are average for Matera for excellent quality food. A beautiful location in a renovated cave with a must-see olive oil mill! Highly recommended!

08/12/2025: Very nice restaurant, excellent food, and friendly staff. I was disappointed with the bill for a 1.1 kg grilled heifer steak, which cost €72. I think it was a bit steep. For a restaurant, €75 per person seemed excessive. I would definitely return, but I'd skip the steak, obviously! 😂😂😂

27/11/2025: A cozy place with excellent homemade food at a great price. I recommend trying the pignata, a lamb stew cooked in a clay pot—a hearty, traditional dish from Matera.

17/09/2025: We stumbled upon this ice cream shop by chance. I was struck by the elegance of the place and then by the ice cream. The flavors are different from the usual and delicious. Delicate yet enveloping. Go and savor these delicacies, you won't regret it!

04/09/2025: Located next to the Antico Frantoio restaurant, it's one of the best gelaterias in Bernalda. We had granitas there the two nights we stayed there. It's well-maintained and has an attractive display case. Prices are reasonable. Both the gelato and granita are definitely worth trying. I highly recommend it.

01/11/2025: We ate very well. The platter they gave us was very generous. There were four of us, and the platter for two was more than enough. The starters weren't very generous at first glance, but they filled us up in the end. The waiter was very kind, and the service was very efficient. The atmosphere was very beautiful, typical of Matera. The path to the Tibetan Bridge is nearby. All in all, it was a wonderful experience.

02/11/2025: For the first time, I came to Pomarico, a stone's throw from Matera, for work, and on the recommendation of some acquaintances, I was directed to this restaurant. I couldn't have given better advice. The food is truly excellent. The veal tagliata is spectacular, with a side of country-style potatoes. Even though one of the house specialties is horse meat, whose cuts are processed in various ways, including the diaphragm, which is very difficult to find, both for veal and horse. The only flaw, if I may say so, but it's not so much a criticism as a recommendation, especially since I stand by the five-star rating, is the bottle of Primitivo di Manduria. It can't be served chilled; it's blasphemy. Otherwise, everything was excellent. I hope to return. Highly recommended. See you next time.

10/06/2025: I'm from Matera but I've lived outside for many years. I emphasize this because going to Anna's means tasting the TRUE FLAVORS OF LUCAN. Out of this world lasagna, broad beans and chicory, orecchiette turnip tops, fried breadcrumbs and crusco. Braciole, sausages and so on and so forth. It's all stratospheric! Well done and kind ❤️

20/12/2025: Small restaurant, all the staff were very attentive, fast, and courteous. We asked for advice on our menu choices and were completely satisfied, not only with the taste but also with the quality. Top marks!

08/12/2025: Lunch with friends in a welcoming and intimate setting. Excellent traditional dishes: peperone crusco with stracciatella and capocollo, a platter of cured meats and cheeses, battered cod, and capriata. Kind and friendly service.

04/12/2025: The owner is passionate and super kind. The sandwiches are amazing. Get the spicy burrata or pesto burrata.

22/11/2025: Must visit place if you ever visit Matera. The sandwiches, or whatever you’ll call them are amazing. There are no bad choices, really. The one I took was with buratta, green pesto and mortadela. The composition and ingredients quality is just top of the 🔝 and I can only say… try it yourself 😍 The service is also great by the lady owner who also greeted us in Polish 😅 Great experience and reasonable prices.
