16/08/2024: Great food! Quality, fresh and tasty products. We ordered 2 porchetta e strachiatella sandwiches, 1 coke and 1 water. All for €22. A little expensive for the place. Small place with plastic plates and cutlery and self-service. Stressed waitresses. But the food is delicious!

26/08/2024: We stayed one night in August to visit Stigliano. Excellent location, 5 minutes walk from the centre, very kind staff, nice and clean room. We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, good food and honest prices, among other things also equipped for gluten-free cuisine. In short, a place to certainly recommend.

17/08/2024: This is a great hotel and restaurant. The host Giuseppe is very welcoming and helpful. The position is close to the town centre. We would definitely stay again if travelling through the area.

30/06/2024: Burro Salato is an elegant restaurant, in the most 'correct' sense of the adjective: the menu items are gourmet but are not an exercise in style as an end in itself. The territory and tradition are present in the dishes, as is right in a very ancient city like Matera, but interpreted in a modern way. The proportions are not restaurant-like, but not molecular either. The hostess pampers you without being cloying. The environment is refined and welcoming. The wine list is extensive, the liqueurs and spirits are exceptional, the service is impeccable. An experience certainly worth repeating!

29/06/2024: Extremely welcoming, kind, patient, warm, and helpful staff. Their response via messages regarding the reservation is super quick and nice. The food, service, atmosphere, wine,...it were absolutely amazing from the start to the end, and I would definitely recommend it. We were 2 people ordering 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, 2 desserts, 2 glasses of local wine, and a bottle of sparkling water for 87€. It's absolutely worth it!

01/05/2024: I went to the bistro to spend some quiet time with my partner - to have time to chat and spend time "out of this world" and to enjoy some good alternative food. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere, delicious food with lots of choice. Staff not intrusive but excellent in their advice. We had a good time, ate to be very satisfied and the price was fair for what we ate and experienced. Super recommended

The beauty of the room is matched by the professionalism and availability of its owners Nunzia and Giuseppe, the director Mino and all the staff and waiters. Attentive to the needs of individual guests and the spouses themselves. Precise, transparent, kind, capable of giving you unique emotions. High quality dishes and a menu capable of satisfying every single preference. I have been to many weddings in this room and the quality has always been very high and refined. We couldn't ask for anything better, a true corner of paradise. Getting married here is like feeling at home, in a family with the same warmth and magic. 31/08/2024: My partner and I fell madly in love with the dishes of this magical place. As a Matera native who lives in Salento, I can say that you eat with flavors that are REALLY typical of our Matera. The tasty reinterpretations that wink at traditional dishes are very interesting. Delicate but never predictable flavours. Cuisine that brought me back to the authentic scents of my childhood. Courteous and kind staff. Absolutely recommended. Located a stone's throw from the center, with the right privacy. Truly an enchanting discovery. We will return with joy.

26/08/2024: Restaurant in the historic center of Matera in a very private and intimate alley a stone's throw from the viewpoint over Matera Vecchia Historic and very impressive place, interiors entirely in stone with Grottaminarda and room below created from a cave... fantastic Excellent food and well served, all really delicious without any flaw, obviously typical local cuisine with a few tweaks here and there. We stopped by for a quick visit but we will definitely return for the food, location and service, done directly by the very friendly and courteous owner. Very honest bill, even too low for the location and food, I was very satisfied P.s. Matera seen from above is truly a lot
