30/06/2024: Burro Salato is an elegant restaurant, in the most 'correct' sense of the adjective: the menu items are gourmet but are not an exercise in style as an end in itself. The territory and tradition are present in the dishes, as is right in a very ancient city like Matera, but interpreted in a modern way. The proportions are not restaurant-like, but not molecular either. The hostess pampers you without being cloying. The environment is refined and welcoming. The wine list is extensive, the liqueurs and spirits are exceptional, the service is impeccable. An experience certainly worth repeating!

29/06/2024: Extremely welcoming, kind, patient, warm, and helpful staff. Their response via messages regarding the reservation is super quick and nice. The food, service, atmosphere, wine,...it were absolutely amazing from the start to the end, and I would definitely recommend it. We were 2 people ordering 1 appetizer, 2 main dishes, 2 desserts, 2 glasses of local wine, and a bottle of sparkling water for 87€. It's absolutely worth it!

10/06/2024: Excellent spot for gelato. Server recommended coffee, which as a coffee lover, was perfect. A good amount of bitterness. Balanced well with pistachio, which was so flavourful. Would go again in a heartbeat. Well priced at 2 scoops in a cut for 2.50 euro.

19/05/2024: We had dinner at Zio Nini last night, and we enjoyed the welcome, the setting, the tempting menu and the delicious dishes so much... that we went back there at midday. It’s good, it’s fresh, it’s local, at reasonable prices… We love it ☺️

11/06/2024: Located in the center of Stigliano, a delightful village in the heart of Basilicata. The rooms are spotless. Breakfast satisfies everyone, both those who love savory foods and those who love sweets. Lunch and dinner, for those who book full board, are a surprise: local products cooked with great skill (podolica cow meats and cheeses, bran peppers, porcini mushrooms, cold cuts and pasta and above all lamb). The owner and his collaborators are very kind and available to satisfy every request (such as the vegetarian menu). Truly a special place. We will definitely be back

09/06/2024: By chance we came to this restaurant, where we were welcomed with kindness, in a refined environment. Each course contained the passion of the chef and the flavors of Lucania! The dessert was truly delicious.....we will return with friends, because this region must be visited and then....we also know where to have lunch! The owners' choice to commit to the land where they were born is appreciable! Good job guys, see you next time

07/06/2024: The attention to detail, the attention of the staff and the study of the cuisine undoubtedly lead to the VikyAnn. Not the usual restaurant but a continually growing project, with innovation and attention to customers. The kitchen offers dishes designed and executed to perfection with particular combinations that, once tried, you will struggle to forget. We opted for a fish menu, proposed by the owner Anna, who made everyone agree. Trio of marinated dishes including swordfish with berries and poppy seeds, dry marinated tuna with jam and sunflower seeds, sautéed squid on chickpea cream with sage and crispy bacon. This is just a portion of the appetizers we ate. It's really worth it to pop into Grottole and eat at VikyAnn also for the value for money. Among the best restaurants in the area, I recommend you try it!

01/05/2024: I went to the bistro to spend some quiet time with my partner - to have time to chat and spend time "out of this world" and to enjoy some good alternative food. Pleasant, quiet atmosphere, delicious food with lots of choice. Staff not intrusive but excellent in their advice. We had a good time, ate to be very satisfied and the price was fair for what we ate and experienced. Super recommended

09/07/2024: I had read all the amazing reviews and was not disappointed we arrived early the lovely owner opened the shop and we chose from many delicious options spicy sausage with spinach pasta meatballs spicy artichoke etc a bottle of white wine !!! All home cooked absolutely mouth watering went home and ate on our roof top terrace

10/07/2024: The food was good but we wanted to have a table at edge(eith view) and the service guy told us that is for 3 persons. After 5 minutes that tables for 3 persons was ocupied by 2 persons and i feel discriminated. I think they have something with some kind of people. So take care when you reserve because they act like being racists.

10/07/2024: What a wonderful restaurant on the edge of the Sassi, with a great view. Friendly service and good food. You can eat inside or on the small terrace. Make a reservation if you want to be sure of a nice spot on the terrace. Restaurant is highly recommended!

The beauty of the room is matched by the professionalism and availability of its owners Nunzia and Giuseppe, the director Mino and all the staff and waiters. Attentive to the needs of individual guests and the spouses themselves. Precise, transparent, kind, capable of giving you unique emotions. High quality dishes and a menu capable of satisfying every single preference. I have been to many weddings in this room and the quality has always been very high and refined. We couldn't ask for anything better, a true corner of paradise. Getting married here is like feeling at home, in a family with the same warmth and magic. 30/06/2024: I don't know if they have the best pasta I've ever had, but if not, it's close. All dishes were delicious, including the panna cotta for dessert. Incredible!! Attentive and friendly attention, all cozy and spacious to enjoy a unique experience. Price, for the quality of the dishes, also very good. An absolute 10.
