23/09/2023: Formaggi freschi ottimi. Panini ottimi. Taglieri ottimi. Gelato ottimo. Situato in posizione leggermente nascosta dalla piazza centrale ma cercatel che ne vale la pena.

18/09/2023: Very authentic experience and amazing service. Proseco, sandwiches with parashuto-mazarella and pancetta-some cheese were absolutely perfect. Best place to have romantic and cinema-like experience. 10 out of 5!

21/09/2023: Wir hatten heute einen tollen Abend, in einem sehr schönen Restaurant mit typisch provenzialischem Flair. Das Essen war wirklich sehr gut. Die Bedienung war sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Uns wurden vorab noch einige Gerichte auf der Speisekarte erklärt. Unsere Lasagne war köstlich und die Entenkeule meines Mannes war absolut auf den Punkt. Meine Gallette, hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Besonders hervorzuheben ist auch das Tiramisu. Anders als man denkt..... war ein besonderer Abschluß des Abends. Danke, für den tollen Abend.

24/09/2023: We had dinner in this lovely bar-restau while in stunning Matera. We navigated our way through pouring rain using google maps. It was quite challenging. Thank God we didn't give up! *ù Ciddar* boasts offering local cooked homemade food and this is exactly what you get. English is neither on the menu, nor it is spoken here. However, there's a bella Italian mama called Jovana, who presents you with a variety of scrumptous dishes lain in a display cabinet. We tried the 3 items for 16 Euros, so we got to taste 6 different dishes. All were very good! Jovana and her dedicated staff kept checking on the clients to make sure they enjoyed their food. For dessert we had a slice of the ricoota almond cheese cake and 2 coffees. In short: excellent value for money, excellent food, excellent atmosphere. A well deserved 10!

23/09/2023: La ubicación de la terraza es muy buena pero nos dijeron que las mesas mejor ubicadas estaban reservadas, mientras que no vino nadie. Pinha colada sin sabor. No vale la pena.

20/09/2023: I only ate at this restaurant and all I can say is WOW. The food was amazing! I had the pasta which is native to Matera (ask the waiter for this) and it was outstanding. My partner who is vegetarian had limited options but they went out of their way to ensure they could make something bespoke for her. Food was amazing and so was the view. I’d recommend booking before if you’d want a seat with a view. Prices were slightly higher than expected but it was definitely a premium restaurant which came with a premium price.

17/09/2023: One of the best meals I think I’ve ever had. We were staying the night in Matera, and the restaurant was recommended by a member of staff at the hotel we were staying in. SO glad they mentioned this as every dish was 10/10. Service was attentive, dishes looked and tasted amazing. Can’t recommend this place enough. Will be visiting Matera again just to come back to this restaurant!

16/09/2023: Location suggestiva, personale efficente e svelo. Cibo fantastico. Come lavorare sapientemente il prodotto di qualità, ogni piatto è una sorpresa ed i sapori sono abbinati con azzardi azzeccatissimi. Dal'entrée al dolce, non perde mai un colpo. Cibo superbo, merita una visita assolutamente!!!

13/09/2023: A stunning experience. The food was superb, with the service to match. We took our children who were catered for perfectly and accommodated with the tasting menu. The setting is fabulous.

05/09/2023: Nous avons passé un bon moment culinaire, les plats étaient très bons et bien présentés. Le service parfait. Seul bémol , enfant en bas âge que les parents ne savent pas gérer , cris , son sur iPad …., pas agréable pour l’enfant et surtout pour leurs voisins de table qui sont venus pour partager un moment calme et culinaire.
