Very good, we decided to try several dishes and I was satisfied with everything!
The chicory with fava beans was a really good specialty, as was the main course. I recommend going. It's a shame it's not visible if someone happens to be walking by and doesn't know, but the place is quaint. We ate under the cave, which was lovely.

But I will remember my stay at Casal Dragone first and foremost for meeting, over an excellent lunch, exceptional and kind people like the estate's owners and their friendly friends and collaborators. A heartfelt thank you, and see you soon.

11/11/2025: My fiancé and I visited here on our last night in Matera. A lively atmosphere & good selection of cocktails. Food was also delicious, Italian with a modern twist. Our waiter Casio was a great host, he spent time talking to us and made us feel extremely welcome!
23/10/2025: An atypical venue, with unique and truly sophisticated decor. The furnishings and details are very unique. It's now a regular stop in Matera. The cocktails are good, as is the food, and reasonably priced. The staff is courteous and very helpful.

11/11/2025: First time in Matera, early October, a rainy day, and we were coming from Liguria.
The owners are wonderful, honest, and welcoming people, and the food is delicious.
The lady who runs the place offered us traditional dishes (which she likes to vary every day). She was very honest, and the portions were generous, so she advised us to order our dishes only after we'd actually finished ours.
The atmosphere was fun and friendly, just like the owners.
The prices were super fair, and the food was traditional.
I highly recommend it.
08/11/2025: Giovanna and her husband are a sight to behold. 😍😍😍Their strictly oven-cooked cuisine is excellent 🤤🤤🤤. Their wine? It works miracles (he knows 😂😂😂).
A must-visit every time we go to Matera.

22/10/2025: A meticulously maintained setting in the heart of the Sassi di Matera. Authentic cuisine, with thoughtful reinterpretations that don't distort the essence of tradition. A top-notch wine list. And a special mention to all the staff, all extremely kind and helpful.
Highly recommended!

16/11/2025: A wonderful experience, accompanied by my dog. The agriturismo is easy to reach, surrounded by greenery among orange, mandarin, and kiwi trees.
Standard rooms, super comfortable pillows, spacious bathroom.
The room was located away from the main building, which was top-notch, providing a sense of peace.
Breakfast and dinner are locally sourced, with everything homemade: fruit, jams, pastries, yogurt, pasta, passata...
I highly recommend this agriturismo; I will definitely return.
21/10/2025: We spent a lovely weekend at Pago. The atmosphere is very rustic and decidedly clean, with locally sourced cuisine using top-quality ingredients. We had the opportunity to dine and have breakfast on the property, and what can I say? All the ingredients were excellent, with generous breakfasts featuring yogurt, fruit, nuts, jams, and homemade desserts. Dinner also included a selection of simple and elaborate dishes, all unique and delicious. We also visited their farm several times, where my daughter was entertained by many new animal friends. It's conveniently located between Nova Siri, Rotondella, and Policoro. Definitely an experience worth repeating and highly recommended.

05/11/2025: My mom and I had an incredible experience here. Came here for dinner and we both agreed this was one of our faviourite meals in all of Italy. We started with the plate of Matera cheeses, then had the scallops and the snapper fish (on recommendation from our server). Everything was fantastic. The service was top notch, the food was amazing, the chef even came out to ask how everything was. Don't skip dessert either, it was just as well thought out as our meals! Highly recommend!
24/10/2025: A very varied menu combined with excellent service. We tried meats, cheeses, pastas, desserts, and several local wines. Highly recommended. Great view.

The restaurant is small, made of stone, a little low, but very characteristic.
