28/08/2025: Very beautiful evening with nice food and beautiful view! 40€ per person. It was worth it!

27/08/2025: If you're looking for a view and gourmet food, this is the place. One of the best views of the Sassis, gourmet food well done. You can tell a lot of dedication goes into each dish, everything exquisite. The fish dish lacked a little something (salt, acidity, or freshness), but I still enjoyed it. The limoncello was delicious and well served. I would definitely return!

09/09/2025: The ice-cream is divine and that good that we came twice, the staff is very friendly as well. The coffee with ice cream is a must try!

08/09/2025: As an ice cream lover, I can safely say that it's in my top 3, the brioche is excellent, and the ricotta mousse is an out-of-this-world experience.

06/09/2025: During our stay in Matera we have been in few restaurants. All were nice but the MateraMi was the best. We took two dishes of the day and they were delicious (check the pic. - I ate everything!) The staff was very professional and kind. We had a table outside with a fantastic view on the Sassi. Please be inform it is rather difficult to get there without a reservation. It has my reccomendation!

22/08/2025: We were there last night, beautiful location, excellent service, very kind waiters (they even offered us a gift for our dog), and to top it off, an excellent playlist... what can I say? We'll definitely be back!

15/08/2025: Beautiful venue, with attention to every detail. The staff is kind, friendly, and professional. The cocktails are delicious and sophisticated. We only had an aperitivo, so I can't comment on the food. But it's definitely worth a visit for those passing through Matera.

23/06/2025: Didn’t even try the food, I believe it’s good no doubt. But the atmosphere from the waiters, to be specific the tall skinny dude with glasses. That dude got mad because I lifted my hand when I called him, and asked him to come so I can ask him face to face something about the menu. He didn’t came even tho he looked at me, and crossed our table couple of times. No response, then the other waiter came a girl and was nice. But me and my girl didn’t like the emptiness inside and weird energy we got so we got up and left. Didn’t order anything, just looked at the menu for 10/15min inside. Then when we got up to leave. That dude, called up on me while we were leaving and said stuff like, where are you going, you looked at the menu outside, why did you even sit. Then when I started explaining myself with literally one sentence. He interrupted me and said why do you lift your hand when you call me. Bro like mind your business … then he started to be even louder and told me people are waiting outside to sit inside. Just to clarify the room we were inside had 4 more tables with nobody sitting, also other rooms with free tables. Outside the restaurant maybe 8/12 people were waiting, but they were waiting to sit outside… Id very much like that dude to mind his own business and act like a waiter who needs to sell the italian story and be polite. I hope the owner reeds this.

21/06/2025: It was the jazz music that drew us into this restaurant. And it was a great idea! The interior is cozy, with a few tables, and the staff is adorable. We can't even mention the menu. We LOVED IT! A truffle pasta dish—how can I put it? Delicious! One of the best Parmigiano cheeses we've ever eaten. That's saying something. Everything is refined, flavorful, and delicate. We finished with a deconstructed but incredible Canolo (Sicilian dessert). In short, a wonderful evening 😋

05/09/2025: Life. While the food is excellent (as always in Italy) and the produce is very fresh, the service is really not up to par. It's all a matter of scrambling. Once you've figured out how to order (QR code on a table), you pay and wait... Wait... Without even a drink to spare. Definitely don't stop if you're in a hurry.

18/08/2025: Extremely welcoming hotel: very comfortable rooms, a generous and complete breakfast, and professional and friendly staff. You can also dine in the equally satisfying restaurant. The village is interesting and enjoyable. I highly recommend it.

18/07/2025: No está mal, pero tampoco es genial. Pasta de marisco agradable pero carbonara no es genial (sabemos que no estamos en Roma ... ). El servicio es amable sin embargo y el lugar original cambia de la experiencia “sassi”.

25/08/2025: The food is bad, the lamb had basically not meat, it was just bones. The pasta was pretty bad. They tried charging for extra portions of things we ordered, and the staff didn’t know acceptable English for their job. Don’t get fooled by recommendations, there are much better restaurants in the area!

18/08/2025: A very positive dining experience. The food was of high-quality flavor and beautifully presented. We enjoyed the appetizers, first courses, second courses, and desserts. The service was excellent, very friendly, welcoming, and helpful. The location is charming, set in an intimate internal piazza, with climbing vines creating a lovely atmosphere and view. Highly recommended for all tastes and for those who want to sample local dishes.

27/08/2025: Very good pizzeria! We ate both lunch and dinner. The portions were generous and of high quality. The pizzas (thin crust) were very good. For four of us, we spent €55 for lunch and €65.50 for dinner, so great prices! Lunch: pasta and chickpeas, salad, pasta with tomato sauce, hamburger and fries, 1 liter of water, two coffees Dinner: 4 pizzas, craft beer, Coke, 2 teas, 1 French fry, and two coffees. The staff was very friendly both times; in fact, for dinner (we hadn't booked), they even managed to find us a table. Thank you so much and best regards from the "Pokémon" family 😉 P.S. Watch out for the spicy oil...it's really spicy 😬
