31/03/2024: After a morning spent among the rocks, my partner and I decided to stop and eat here. We took a Bolognese and a cacio e pepe, spectacular pasta, excellent cooking, even the condiments were tasty and plentiful. The portions are nice and large so very satisfying, I recommend everyone to stop by them at least once!

23/03/2024: A very nice environment with pleasant and attentive service. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was below expectations and did not justify the price, making us miss good traditional trattoria cuisine. I took the tasting menu. Except for the paccheri with lamb, which are more than good. For the rest, a good but very tough suckling pig, a decidedly bland egg cooked at a low temperature, and an appetizer based on mushrooms and potato cream, beautifully presented but not exciting. Even the tiramisu, very light, didn't tell me anything. From what was supposed to be a masterfully revisited Lucanian cuisine, I definitely expected more.

There are various courses to choose from from the menu with the possibility of choosing dishes outside the menu, such as "baked ziti", a typical dish of Matera's festive days. It is a duty to thank all the kitchen staff, the dining room staff who, in addition to their professionalism, meticulously describe the dishes served to the guests. Thanks to the owners for their hospitality and advice to anyone who wants to taste the typical dishes of Matera, to go to "La Lopa".

30/03/2024: We arrive at the restaurant around 9.45pm, after sitting at the table we order some sushi and an octopus sandwich, after about twenty minutes the sandwich arrives, and so far so good, after which it almost seems like they have forgotten about us, 50 minutes pass without even the slightest sign of sushi to the point where we decide to leave, when we get to the cash register they ask us how our evening went, I reply by telling them that we had practically not eaten and that we had been there for an hour waiting, he almost annoyed says that it was 48 minutes and not an hour, the fact is that I paid that half sandwich, among other things without salt and with cold onion, €20 and I left, an experience not to be repeated at all

I went there convinced by the reviews and found good food, an engaging atmosphere and impeccable staff, with particular praise for Stefano, who advised us, served and entertained us with friendliness and professionalism!
