We really enjoyed our meal here - it was a special set menu so we didn’t have any choices but everything was tasty, well cooked, generous and made with care. Everyone was friendly, helpful and professional and the prices were in line with similar places nearby. It’s not in the centre so felt a bit more relaxed and authentic.

Restaurant a few steps from the center of Matera, tastefully furnished and with a relaxed atmosphere, away from the chaotic tourist flows. Varied menu featuring Matera recipes revisited in a modern key, with super honest prices. We went back twice because it really impressed us! The pasta is homemade, the sauces delicious. There is also a wide choice of starters and main courses, all delicious. We opted to try a bit of everything and I must say it was a good choice. Super recommended for those who want to discover the real cuisine of Matera!

I was in Matera for one of my shows at the theater and I came across this restaurant by chance, since it was one of the few open at 3pm.
The welcome was surprising, the host Gianfranco and all the staff were very kind.
The appetizers that trace the Matera tradition and the fusilloni with monkfish are excellent.
I can't wait to go back to try the second courses.
