Please bring an umbrella. First course with porcini mushrooms and sausage as second course really excellent. Good waiter and sorry for what happened. We only stayed at the table thanks to him
28/03/2024: My first course was completely without salt... ok, I ask the waiter for the salt shaker to give it a minimum of eatability. The second courses on the contrary, very salty; I ate mine anyway, my partner sent it back. Having made a complaint at the register, he tells me, sorry, nothing can be done, not even the exclusion of the uneaten dish. Having paid the bill in full, I am offered a 4 euro refund, but I refuse the handout. Shame!

Very characteristic place within the Sassi of Matera.
Top staff, the guy who served us was very nice and competent in advising us and explaining the various dishes.
Truly top-quality traditional Motera food with spectacular flavor and flavours.
Starter, first courses, second courses, desserts and truly top wine.
The small glasses of digestive offered at the end of the dinner were much appreciated.
Highly recommended🔝
24/03/2024: The atmosphere and service here are very nice. The prices are very reasonable but we were underwhelmed with our food. Both the cavatelli and the paccheri were just okay, but we enjoyed better at other less frequented spots in matera.

I found everything very good and once again they managed to satisfy me and my friends, who would like to return as soon as possible! Value for money is right as a dish of a certain type corresponds to a price that makes it worthy.

16/03/2024: Cucina di alto livello. Piatti tipici e molto curati con un’ottima varietà. Il suino nero mi ha estasiato. Prezzi nella norma per essere un ristorante di alto livello. Buona cantina dei vini. Il posto è scavato nei sassi e molto suggestivo. Personale molto cordiale e disponibile. Lo chef nonché il proprietario molto simpatico e carismatico. Lo consiglio.

10/03/2024: Ad Irsina un'ottima trattoria da Mario e Gigia, antipasti caldi come da tradizione Lucana squisiti, un primo che abbiamo apprezzato molto ovvero una zuppetta di fagioli con finocchietto selvatico e per secondo una Tbon da 1,2kg servita con contorno di patate al forno; per finire un dolce e un Rhum.
17/02/2024: Ottimo cibo. Abbondante. Prezzi leggermente alti ma valgono la qualità e la quantità dei cibi.
Ottimo servizio. Gentilissima e disponibile la ragazza che ci ha accolto e servito (ottimo anche il tiramisù fatto da lei: da provare assolutamente).
Ci ritorneremo con piacere.

Locale rustico molto carino, non troppo grande.
Prodotti di ottima qualità e ben cucinati rendono i piatti, che ci hanno servito con gentilezza e precisione, eccellenti.
Il pranzo domenicale a menù fisso prevede una serie di antipasti rustici (menzione particolare alle braciole di pollo con purè di patate e funghi) , due primi (noi abbiamo mangiato i cannelloni e la pasta con pesto di zucchine e guanciale entrambi buonissimi), secondo con contorno, frutta e dolce.
Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo
