12/04/2026: I should point out that I only used the restaurant service. I had a family lunch with a fixed menu for €38: everything was delicious, varied, plentiful, and locally sourced. The atmosphere is welcoming and ideal, especially for children, given the rides and animals. You can also purchase their homemade products on site. Piera, whom we interacted with, was truly wonderful and helpful. She even helped our little son repot some basil. We'll see you again soon!

16/03/2026: My experience at this restaurant was extremely positive. I searched online for restaurants in Matera and, fortunately, I chose this one based on a hunch. A very charming place among the Sassi... clean and quiet. The atmosphere is lovely. The young man who served us was courteous, kind, and friendly; it was a real pleasure dealing with him. We ordered a local appetizer, a plate of orecchiette, a sliced ​​meat, and a dessert. Everything was excellent and with attention to detail. Prices were completely reasonable. Service was prompt. Quick enough and welcoming. I recommend it and hope to return!

02/02/2026: Spectacular welcome. Excellent food. I recommend the meat, which is exquisite. In the summer, it should be wonderful with outdoor seating. In the winter, it's cozy and tastefully decorated. The owner's father welcomed us with a smile on his face... perhaps because we were with a dear friend of his? But I don't think so... both he and his son are truly wonderful.

31/01/2026: From the outside, it doesn't look very appealing. It's a bit out of the way, to the point that if they hadn't suggested it to us, we probably wouldn't have even entered. For a moment, we wondered if it was really open and if we should open the door. And finally... fortunately we entered. Inside, the space is beautiful, warm and fits perfectly with Matera. They took us upstairs, where there were already customers, and from there everything went very smoothly. The boy who served us was friendly, relaxed, willing to explain without style, without rushing. The food was what you expect to eat here. Local cuisine, well-cooked, with flavor and substance. Nothing supposedly touristy. The wine was an excellent choice. It was called Akratos, a reference to ancient Greek tradition. The pure, undiluted wine that, according to the ancients, only Dionysus could drink. Strong, full, with character, and perfectly tied to the dishes. And the dessert came at the end simply and properly, without exaggeration, closing the meal beautifully. An experience that stays with you. We would go again without a second thought

15/04/2026: Very informal, single menu, but everything is truly tasty and very homemade. Three words: you eat well.

11/04/2026: After a walk in the nearby woods, we stopped for lunch at PODUS, and we couldn't have made a better choice! We opted for a selection of appetizers, all delicious, from the homemade cured meats and cheeses to the hot dishes. We could have finished lunch with appetizers, but we wanted to try at least one of the daily specials, so we chose cavatelli with crusco peppers, sausage, and caciocavallo cheese. This, too, was a very good dish, well-balanced and flavorful. Our lunch concluded with two desserts: ricotta cake with almonds and rum-infused raisins, and cream puffs filled with custard. Both were worthy, but I've rarely found a ricotta cake this fragrant and delicate! Superb service, with friendly and helpful staff, who, above all, were attentive to every need. Plus, the menu changes daily...one more reason for us to return soon. It was truly a wonderful discovery :)

12/04/2026: Arrive and park comfortably in the large forecourt! Upon entering, you immediately feel a sense of hygiene and cleanliness! A welcoming and relaxing atmosphere! The staff, a young team, are courteous, honest, and discreet! You can tell they're young people who believe in this profession, who have been doing it with passion and professionalism for years, and it must be said because it's beautiful! The dishes, I'm speaking from what we ate, are all top-notch! The stuffed potatoes are a must-try, delicious! The sliced ​​entrecote, truly exceptional, I hadn't had one like that in a long time! The pizza, a simple margherita, a delight! A Sicilian cannoli, my taste buds truly exploded with joy, sublime! The draft beer was also excellent! Finally, considering the high quality of the products, I think the bill was average, maybe even below! Anyway, by browsing the menu on the website, you can easily choose and plan both your menu and your budget! And...enjoy your meal!
