05/01/2025: Not really a place to recommend for various reasons, of lack of communication between the kitchen and the dining room first and foremost, unprofessional waiters, raw meat sent back to the kitchen for the same reason, beer finished at 8pm on Saturday evening both in bottles and on tap, bill of Randomly made pizzas average according to the waiter. So not to be recommended.

04/01/2025: I recommend this location: the location of the restaurant is suggestive and characteristic, excellent food, excellent and courteous service. Every customer is welcomed with a smile. Scenography and furnishings that go well with the room created from an old water collection tank. A stop not to be missed when visiting Matera.

31/12/2024: Attentive, friendly and prepared staff. Refined dishes and high quality products, average prices. A further note of merit is the attention to the origin of local products (Slow Food presidium). In addition to the first courses, I also recommend the desserts, particularly the filo pastry with lemon cream. Very good and very delicate. Advised.

09/12/2024: Even rude! I did not understand??? It is she who pretends not to understand, we are not discussing the ready-made dishes but the final bill which did not reflect the prices indicated. With €55 a person eats and drinks in a high quality restaurant, you charged me €55 for 1 lasagna, 1 parmigiana, 8 baked potatoes and 1 side dish. INDECENT to be paid for bulk wine at €24 as if it were a vintage Chianti and it was a vulgar bulk wine. ditto a bitter for €7..... and he even has the courage to label the truth as slander: that is, there were two of us sitting - sure - but we ate one portion and not two!!! So you charge for two based on how many sit, even if they eat for one.....but shame on you!!!!!

23/08/2024: We stayed for three nights. Spacious and clean rooms, large bathroom with shower. Mrs. Carmela offers fantastic breakfasts always available. We will return

05/12/2024: Refined restaurant that puts you at ease. Cuisine with typical products but revisited without exasperation. Aside from the welcome (which you don't eat but often gives you a sense of the place and it goes without saying that it is very respectable), the dishes are tasty, satisfy the palate and leave you with the desire to return.

02/01/2025: We had an aperitif in the winery. We entered around 5.30pm, an hour later the owner brought us the bill directly and shortly after invited us to clear the table to make room for other customers. I would have appreciated being notified in advance. Nothing to say about the quality of the wine and food, but in a place with certain pretensions the service should be looked after a little better.

21/08/2024: Il gelato è buono, niente da dire: cremoso, gusti intensi e ben equilibrati. Però, francamente, la quantità lascia parecchio a desiderare. Non è possibile pagare un certo prezzo e ritrovarsi con due palline minuscole. Vengo spesso e non è la prima volta che succede, il tempo di uscire dal locale che è già finito. Posso apprezzare la qualità, ma un po' più di generosità non guasterebbe.

07/12/2024: Deludente. Menu all you can eat con pochi antipasti e soprattutto con carne di basso livello tipo ali di pollo. Prezzo bevande alte. Vino della casa a 9 euro al litro. Alla fine pagato oltre 30 euro a persona.

18/11/2024: Excellent traditional local restaurant offering typical local products, without confusion, excellent food, courteous owners, kind and patient waitress, normal prices. Externally you can easily find parking spaces for cars and motorbikes. Conclusion: it would be great to find the availability of a tourist menu, it is recommended to everyone.

09/11/2024: In a characteristic village in the province of Matera, outside the most well-known tourist routes, Cirigliano, there is this beautiful place, where the local stone and the rustic environment reign supreme. Welcomed as one does with a relative in the family, we ordered a varied appetizer of local specialties, where the pork is served in different ways: one of them the egg cooked with sausage with a cascade of paprika covering. Two samples of first course, one with cavatelli, bran peppers and fried breadcrumbs and the other with excellent fresh pasta tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. Roasted lamb and sausage cooked directly over hot coals in plain sight. Local wine and bitters to complete lunch. The price? Absolutely convenient. To return.
