We stopped for dinner on the recommendation of some locals. We were two adults, a child, and a small dog. The very kind owner recommended what to eat, and we were delighted.
We tried several first courses, the platter of typical cured meats and cheeses, and the famous crusco pepper.
My son wanted to return the next day for lunch. We tried other first courses and grilled meats, and again the crusco pepper, all seasoned with their own olive oil and an excellent red wine.
What can I say? The owner is welcoming and helpful, the staff is knowledgeable and friendly, the products are excellent, and the prices are more than fair. Thanks, see you next time!

Convenient location in the center of Matera. Divine food, everything cooked to perfection. I've eaten there several times and will definitely be back! Very affordable prices. Very kind, beautiful, and friendly waitresses!

Located a few hundred meters from the historic center of Matera, it offers traditional local cuisine.

Amazing food, the staff was really nice and attentive.
Our favourite were the Tagliata di Manzo (beef)
and the Paccheri pasta. One of us ordered a set menu ans it was very generous too.
