27/10/2025: A very lively trattoria in the historic center. We had lunch there yesterday and I'd say the cod was excellent. I'd definitely return and recommend it.

19/12/2025: I visited this terrace for dinner and was very pleased. The atmosphere was very elegant and refined. Since I was there in winter, I couldn't enjoy the terrace with the pool and the view, but it looked lovely. I really enjoyed the food. It's definitely more expensive than other restaurants, but in my opinion, the quality of the service and the overall atmosphere justifies it.

17/12/2025: I went for a business dinner with colleagues. The location was very nice and the staff were friendly, but the food was far below expectations. In a fregola with lobster, I would have expected to see at least some pieces of this crustacean, but the flavor was practically nonexistent. Furthermore, everything was very salty. For dessert, we were served a very dry, industrial panettone. In short, they know their job well and charge well, but quality is another matter entirely.

01/12/2025: This was our second stay at La Madernassa, having first discovered it in the spring. The rooms are in a renovated farmhouse dating back to 1865. There's a small garden where you can sit when the weather is nice, with a view of Alba. Dinner is served 100 meters away in the hotel's own restaurant. The location is stunning, with breathtaking views of the entire Western Alps. The food is fantastic, incredibly creative, and made with high-quality ingredients. The service is top-notch, and the wine list is extensive and excellent. Breakfast is served the following morning. Everything is absolutely delicious and of the highest quality. For me, it offers excellent value for money. Add to that the friendliness of all the staff. We'll definitely be back. See you next time!

17/11/2025: A wonderful experience we had the blind tasting menu along with the wine pairing. All very tasty, from start to finish the service was friendly and perfectly attentive

21/12/2025: Happened to find this place more or less by accident. We had a very nice carpaccio of beef and a selection of cured meats. The bread was great, and appeared to be baked in a muffin tin based upon the shape. It was really good bread. We had our 2 year old with us, and we asked for an apple juice, which they didn't have(it's a bar so understandable!) However, the waiter(maybe the owner!?) literally walked to a store and brought our little girl a pear juice and she was so happy. It was beautiful and we were so thankful for the kind gesture. Great hospitality. We sat outside and overhead was a beautiful trellis of vines. A nice, breezy, shaded spot, in a quiet alley, was very very relaxing. Thank you so much for a nice lunch, we will return!

26/11/2025: What a fantastic restaurant! We had a truly wonderful evening. We chose the set menu, and it was exactly the right choice: both quantity and quality. A whole array of delicious seafood, an exceptionally well-prepared fish, all accompanied by two glasses of wine perfectly paired with the dishes. We recommend that first-time visitors choose this menu, as it offers a lovely variety of options. A future visit can focus on a specific dish—or dishes. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant. We are already looking forward to repeating this wonderful experience.

30/11/2025: We had an unforgettable lunch at Lido 84, even though it was a rainy day (which added to the magic). From traditional dishes to cutting-edge modern creations, they had it all. Everything tasted fantastic, and we'll definitely be back. It was the best meal of our week-long trip to Northern Italy. The service was lovely and friendly. We'll be back again.

12/10/2025: A delicious discovery by chance. It deserves 5 stars overall. Kudos to the food, the beautiful location, and the extremely friendly service. Since I'm allergic to almonds, they kindly offered me a slice of their homemade pastiera, which was spectacular. Above all, it's important to emphasize that this isn't a touristy place. And the view...well, it speaks for itself. Kudos to the management.

03/12/2025: We did not expect much from this place but ended up visiting it again. Amazing service, kind and funny guys, good food and incredible atmosphere. Definitely coming back again when in Malcesine. Loved the grappa in longest bottle in the world.
