06/04/2026: I visited Docking 9 for a midweek lunch, and the atmosphere was truly perfect: just a few tables occupied, relaxing silence, and that sense of calm that lets you savor every moment, ideal for both a lunch for two and a leisurely meeting. As soon as you enter, you almost feel like you're stepping aboard: wood everywhere, nautical details, and large windows overlooking the sailboats docked on the Tiber. The light that enters is soft, reflecting on the water... creating an intimate atmosphere, with sparkling reflections moving throughout the room. The menu is entirely dedicated to the seafood. We started with the freshest Gillardeau oysters, followed by delicate sea bass sashimi on a bed of crispy puntarelli. The steamed octopus was tender, warm, and slightly moist. The star of this restaurant is the fish soup: it arrived steaming hot, thick, and filling. Each spoonful was rich and enveloping, with so many different types of fish. A dish that warms and satisfies you on its own. To finish, a chocolate brownie with a soft, intense center, perfect for leaving a sweet, deep note at the end of lunch. A place to slow down and let yourself be carried away... just like being on a boat, but with the right dish in front of you.

13/04/2026: The food was good, the carbonara was delicious, and we ordered pork ribs which were amazing. The service from the staff was fantastic; however, I found the receptionist's attitude a bit harsh. He wasn't rude, but I think it's always good to communicate respectfully. We had a good experience overall.

13/04/2026: According to many, myself included, the best Carbonara in Rome. In the trendy Monti district; reservations are not possible, so you might have to wait in line. You are seated on bar stools. No frills, very tasty food.

02/04/2026: Very disappointed after being at least 4 times there,the food quality is lower than before and it was a very little of food. We were hungry after finishing the tasting menu.6 courses!! So sad that they changed their good food.

05/05/2026: We arrived spontaneously without a reservation, and although the restaurant was fully booked, they managed to get us a table. The food was a 10/10 and by far the best we had in six days in Rome. It tasted fantastic and was beautifully presented. The service was also very attentive, and the courtyard is a lovely place to relax. I highly recommend eating here.

24/04/2026: A refined restaurant in Anguillara Sabazia, just steps from the port, with a veranda overlooking Lake Bracciano. I recommend starting the meal with an excellent glass of Prosecco from the Sutto winery, served at the perfect temperature, accompanied by their fantastic, fragrant bread, made exclusively for them and served fresh from the oven. Follow with the Benedetto Cavalieri spaghetti with clams and perfectly creamed bottarga! The sea bass fillet in "acqua pazza" (crazy water) and the Roman-style artichoke, with that perfect hint of mint, overlooked by many lazy and superficial restaurateurs, are also unforgettable. The owner, Mr. Diego, has created an excellent wine list, always ready to suggest the perfect pairing for your food. Lastly, a special mention goes to the highly knowledgeable waiters, always polite and attentive, but not intrusive!

31/03/2026: Absolutely phenomenal! Off the beaten tourist path and so delicious. The artichokes are wonderful. Lasagna, spaghetti, ravioli and carbonate were outstanding.

30/03/2026: ✨ A truly memorable authentic dinner in Rome! ✨ During our visit to Ristorante Abruzzi in Rome, we had one of the most delicious and genuine dining experiences of our trip. We ordered a variety of dishes, and every single one was exceptional: tender, flavorful osso buco, rich fettuccine al ragù, perfectly baked cannelloni, a beautifully cooked pork dish, and fresh, light pasta with shrimp and zucchini. Each plate was prepared with incredible care, authentic ingredients, and that unmistakable homemade Italian taste you hope to find but rarely do. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, with classic Italian charm, and the staff made us feel completely at home from the moment we walked in. This is not just a restaurant — it’s a place where you truly experience traditional Italian cuisine at its best. If you are in Rome and want a real, unforgettable meal, Ristorante Abruzzi is a must. 🇮🇹🍝🍷

28/03/2026: So thrilled we found this fantastic restaurant. Came here for lunch and then the next day for dinner. Brilliant service, cosy atmosphere and got to try famous Tonnarelli cacio e pepe, and it lived up to my dreams 🤩. The service and welcoming nature of Andrea and the other staff was 💯. Also got to dine with men of the cloth! Excellent wine list and knowledge as well.

19/04/2026: We ate outside, and despite being just steps from Piazza delle Coppelle, there was absolutely no crowding. Excellent service and excellent food. My only advice is to add a few bottles under €30 to your bucket list.

13/04/2026: This small but exquisite restaurant near the Pantheon impresses with its charming Mediterranean ambiance. The wine selection and recommendations were excellent. The appetizers—meatballs with Parmesan and pumpkin with bacon—were delicious and beautifully presented. The main courses, Italian-style pot roast on a bed of potatoes and steak with mushrooms, were an absolute delight, thanks in part to their high quality. The attentive and friendly service from the young ladies rounded off the evening perfectly. Rome at its best. This is bella Italia! Thank you!

28/02/2026: Great experience. We went for lunch and ate tonnarelli with citrus pesto and shrimp by the lake! 🦐 Delicious! Two glasses of pecorino wine, a pistachio brownie, coffee, and water! €21.50 per person! Amazing service and quality of food! A family-run bistro with a lot of quality.

07/05/2026: We stopped by spontaneously looking for gluten-free dishes. They have pasta and pizza. Both the gluten-free and regular pizzas were good. The service was very friendly. We would go again.

06/05/2026: Our hotel recommended this nearby restaurant for breakfast. What a mistake! We've never seen anything like it. First day, the welcome was rather cold, the order was incredibly fast… and the service was barely a glance. We received a mediocre croissant, one slice of toast that was cold (placed, or rather thrown, without a second thought and almost at the end of breakfast), a piece of butter, and a sad-looking jam. The fruit juice was okay. Second day, ah, another waiter… just as unpleasant as the one from the day before. This time, we were given two slices of warm toast. Great! Unfortunately, the croissant was stale!… We'll find somewhere else for our remaining two days. Thankfully, there are some businesses in Rome that do their city and country proud!
