06/04/2024: Palazzo Murat was one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed at. The service was impeccable. They upgraded us upon arrival to a room overlooking the water and hills of Positano and gifted us a complimentary bottle of champagne to kick off our stay. The concierge was so helpful and anytime we had a question or needed anything they helped us immediately. They helped us set up our sunset boat cruise and gave us information that helped us hike the path of gods. The breakfast was incredible it was such a lovely way to start our day each day. We were able to enjoy a day by the pool which had a beautiful view and was very relaxing. We enjoyed apritivo at La petit Murat on a couple of occasions. We also ate dinner at their Al Palazzo restaurant our last night and had a nice relaxing evening the food and service was also wonderful. The location is absolutely perfect as it gives you quick walking access to the water/ferries and access to the shops and other restaurants. I would 100% recommend staying at this hotel. The staff are kind and friendly and go above and beyond. Thank you to everyone there who made our stay a 5 star experience!

17/10/2023: The service here was my favourite of my 7 week Italian visit. Such a friendly and happy experience. The delicious food and beautiful local wines are served in an old wine cellar converted to a dining room. Don’t miss a visit to Casamicciola - the oldest town on Ischia for a wonderful experience at Cantinando. Grazie de cuore!

05/04/2024: We went in March, a group of 26 people, 10 rooms. The experience was supreme. From the reception, where a great pianist was waiting for us playing music on the piano in the hall and a welcome with a toast of prosecco. The location of the hotel is undoubtedly the best in all of Sorrento with views that are paradisiacal. Very good rooms where without a doubt the great strength are the views. Super friendly staff from first to last. I highlight the exceptional attention of Sofia who at all times was concerned that our group's stay was perfect from start to finish.

03/04/2024: Being able to stay at Bellevue Syrene is all that is right. All the details are taken care of and presented to the client so that their stay is unique.

06/04/2024: Excellent service and delicious food. We went quite early as per “Australian” dinner times and all staff were very accommodating and fun. We ate a lot of delicious seafood that was all fresh and tasty. The melon liquor after dinner was a lovely bonus.

I love bringing my groups here for a cooking class that is so much fun, filled with local knowledge and tips, followed by a delicious dinner made all the more special by the charming Simone and his wonderful team. 11/11/2023: Stayed at the Pupetto for 6 nights in October. Lovely hotel and very helpful and friendly staff. Right on the beach. The quality of the food in the restaurant was magnificent. It's worth noting that it is a stretch from Positano itself though, either from the Positano beachfront or the 250-step steep walk to the top. The taxi can only take you so far. It's nothing much for younger, fitter people but not quite so easy for OAP's or younger kids which may take its toll day after day.

07/04/2024: Great view! Came here for lunch on our first day on a whim, however very expensive for what we got (but again it is Positano). Pasta was good, fried seafood all tasted the same and oily. Would come back to try something else.

03/04/2024: We really enjoyed our dining experience with our server Gianni. He was the highlight of our experience. The lobster and pasta were delicious.

06/04/2024: What can I say They made my dream even more beautiful I celebrated my wedding which took place on 4/4/24 I'll say a few things but I think they're enough If you want your dream wedding to become a reality (a wedding like any other event) this is the right place to go. 5 stars are few to express the beauty of this place, the quality of the food, the professionalism of the staff, in short, if the perfection doesn't exist then this place is the exception because it is super perfect I can't say anything else because anything said would never equal this place My dream was realized thanks to them

03/12/2023: Absolutely amazing!!!! We came twice during our trip, once for lunch, once for evening cocktails. Both provided different experiences and I would recommend both! The views, cocktails, and food were all amazing. A must in Positano!

01/11/2023: We had an absolutely amazing experience at Il Tridente, and it was one of the best meals we had in Positano! The food was excellent, service was impeccable, and the environment and atmosphere were top notch. Highly recommended!

25/03/2024: But why 4 and not 5 stars? An excellent place in Pompeii. Excellent cuisine with a spectacular wine list in a welcoming environment. Tasted a fantastic Taurasi by Benito Ferrara which truly upgraded a very high level dinner. Unfortunately the portions are really minimalist, I would have eaten double all the dishes. The extra-slim cheeses are also pleasant. The rabbit and cuttlefish are spectacular. I believe that in addition to the tasting menu (even smaller portions), a large menu should be added with a price supplement and 50% more food.

02/04/2024: It is a hotel positioned in such a way as to have a beautiful view of the sea. The rooms have a glass window that allows you to admire the island of Capri and the coast below. The hotel is quiet and the staff very friendly and kind. There is a bit of external maintenance missing, but I think it is related to the spring period

28/01/2024: Spectacular place. The aperitif at the Relais Blu is one of the things to do on weekends with a beautiful scorching sun Super recommended! A wonderful and romantic view. For those who love motorbikes, I recommend going there on two wheels, to enjoy the whole road that leads to this wonderful place even more.

06/04/2024: We went for lunch with 3 people and a little dog. Cozy environment, the people in the room were very kind and helpful. The fish dishes were good and original. The bill is proportionate to the quality of the dishes.

06/11/2023: Dreadful experience at Palazzo Avino! I would not normally write a review, but my partner and I had such a poor experience, I had to warn you all. We brought our service animal who is a small 48 lb (22kg) golden retriever and our overnight stay generally went without issue, although the staff were cold and they couldn't supply a clothing steamer as the hotel only had one. As soon as we, however, checked out, we were kicked out of the hotel. Why you may ask? We wished to stick around to enjoy the property but were told from the reservation's manager that we were not allowed to remain on the grounds because of our "large" dog, citing safety concerns for the owner's small dachshund. Keep in mind that trained service animals are viewed as assistive technology/medical equipment, not as a pet. We were told that they "made an exception and that the dog could only remain in the room during the stay," which they did not communicate up until we checked out. As my service animal this also meant that I technically would have to remain in the room as well or else risk being without my service animal. Our pleas for their understanding did not make any difference to the staff as despite our service animal being professionally trained, having the kindest demeanor and being on a leash at all times, we were not allowed to stay on the premises. We suspect that the owner's dog could be the one causing safety concerns as he barked incessantly in a back room when they noticed our service animal. This hotel's practices are very concerning and we can only hope that the hotel's management takes this accessibility issue seriously and does not further discriminate against those with disabilities.

30/10/2023: Fantastic food, whether fish or meat, pasta or dessert. What Raffaella and Erika conjure up in their kitchen is amazing. We enjoyed it so much that we even went there twice within a week. And thank you to the entire team for being there just for us on “your last evening”! Mille Grazie!

29/10/2023: I have been travelling Italy north to south (including Sardinia) for the past month. This is a 3 star restaurant compared to the high end restaurants I have been to. In positano, you will either pay for the view or the food or rarely both. This restaurant does not provide a view. The ambience inside the restaurant is nice but very basic. This brings me to critique the food here. We (a couple) had a pasta each, a main dish, and a dessert. When plates are priced at 23 to 35 euros a plate, I expect a wow factor or originality to the plate. This is your very basic standard "nonna" restaurant. The taste is good but no Wow. My seabass plate was a bit underwhelming. The tiramisu that I had was same as the one I got for 3 euros the day before. Here is my recommendation to you, this place is quite a drive up through very tight roads (as everywhere else), so I wouldn't displace myself specifically to go eat at this restaurant.
