04/07/2026: CantiNando What a beautiful place! I dined here two evenings with my family because one wasn't enough. Excellent dishes—meat, fish, and desserts—prepared with passion and the freshest ingredients. The owner is incredibly kind, and his kitchen staff is always smiling. And the dining room is staffed by a fabulous couple. They're extremely kind and welcoming, attentive to their customers, and friendly. It's a shame it's so far from where we live.

05/07/2026: The view is fantastic, the service was incredible, and the food was good (though not amazing). It’s a bit pricey, but comparable to other restaurants on the Amalfi Coast. Overall I think it’s worth it.

28/04/2026: We celebrated our wedding on April 25, 2026, and we can only say: everything was simply perfect. About two and a half years ago, we chose this venue, confident in the knowledge that we were entrusting ourselves to true professionals, and our expectations were fully confirmed. From our first meeting, we were greeted with great professionalism, but above all with a rare human warmth, as if we were part of their family. The organization was impeccable in every aspect: from welcoming our guests to managing food intolerances, every detail was taken care of with care and precision. The directors, Ennio and Giuseppe, guided us through every decision, always offering the best advice with expertise and availability. During the wedding day, Angelo and Giusy were extraordinary: true points of reference, capable of coordinating everything from start to finish and promptly managing even small unexpected events. The cuisine was simply exceptional: dishes carefully crafted in both flavor and presentation, everything truly delicious and appreciated by all our guests. A special thanks also to Vanna, always available and ready to help us with the organizational phase, responding to our every need with kindness and punctuality. Finally, a heartfelt thank you to all the staff, even those we didn't mention personally but who contributed so much to the success of our special day, and to the owners of the property for their kindness and hospitality. We will always carry wonderful memories of this experience with us. Thank you for everything!

06/08/2026: Stunning view, service and food! Does the view get better than this? As it cooled down they fully opened the windows for an open air setting. One of my fav meals, I had the Spaghetto alla “chiummenzana”. Simple, classic, the red sauce was so good. Look forward to going back on my next visit.

29/05/2026: We went to this restaurant yesterday and today. Friendly welcome. Authentic, delicious local cuisine. The house wine was very good for 5 euros a carafe. Excellent value for money. Go without hesitation.

24/07/2026: Ristorante Il Pino was one of the highlights of our trip to the Amalfi Coast. We had lunch on our first day in Praiano, and the views alone are worth the visit. The grilled octopus over risotto was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. The seafood pasta was incredibly fresh, and the sauce was so delicious, you’ll want to sop up every last drop with fresh bread. The Hugo Spritz was phenomenal, and the service was warm, attentive, and impeccable. Caterina and the entire staff made us feel truly welcome. We returned 2 days later for their cooking class, and it exceeded every expectation. Simone and Chef Mariano guided us through ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers, an authentic eggplant Parmigiana, fresh handmade pasta, and a tiramisu we’ll never forget. The class was fun, interactive, and ended with a delicious meal we prepared ourselves. Everything reflected authentic Italian hospitality, and genuine passion for food. I’d absolutely return to Praiano just to do this again. Highly recommended without hesitation. 5 stars.

21/07/2026: A very beautiful restaurant with a view of the sea and Positano. The staff was extremely courteous and made us feel at home. The food is simply superb. We had dinner for two and had stuffed squid as an appetizer and two pasta dishes (scialatielli and fidanzati). Authentic flavors, the kind you don't have to strain to taste. Mr. Antonio roams the restaurant and entertains customers with great charm. Outstanding limoncello and meloncello are offered at the end of the meal. Not to be missed.

25/07/2026: Made a reservation for a Sunday night, and had an incredible time. The outside seating is tiered, with sectioned private tables nestled in beautiful greenery. Since it was so hot during our stay in Sorrento, we opted to sit inside. We were guided down a flight of stairs, which led to an elegant dining area that was once the 16th century wine cellar for a former monastery. There is also another flight of stairs that lead up to more seating, and the wine cellar. Once seated, we were handed the wine menu, which listed countless choices. Admitting we were in over our heads, a Sommelier, Geppino, was sent to our table. He was wonderful! Warm, friendly, helpful and extremely passionate about his role. He suggested a 2020 Chianti we thoroughly enjoyed, and which paired well with everything we ate. We were so taken with his hospitality and energy, that we took two bottles of wine home with us! My husband ordered the Raviolo for his first course, and the Beef for his second. I chose to hand my selections over to the chef, ordering the "In Our Hands" portion of the Scent of the Land. Everything that came out, was beyond fabulous. Even my husband, who is not a foodie, gave high praise. There was artistry in every presentation. Proteins were melt in your mouth tender and enveloped in savory sauces and tender pasta. Natural fats were beautifully balanced with subtle bits of acidity that left your palette satisfied yet craving for more. You could taste culinary expertise in every bite, with each plate being perfectly portioned. With each serving, it was obvious how much care the kitchen put into each dish. Service was on point, with staff constantly circling the restaurant, watching to see if anything was needed. They were friendly and engaging, and made us feel like we were the only ones in the restaurant. Il Buco served up some of the best food we have ever had. True craftmanship from beginning to end.

30/05/2026: While we didn’t stay at the hotel, my best friend and I went to the restaurant one night and were treated like queens. The service was above and beyond, great food, the music was phenomenal, the atmosphere was wonderful, and the espresso martinis were the best we had in Italy. Highly recommend.

13/07/2026: This was by far the best food experience we've had during our stay in Napoli. A travelblog recommended this place and it did not disappoint! Authentic food, friendly servers and good prices. My husband would have taken the chef home if he could! If you're in Naples give this place a visit! Tip: try the tasting plate as a starter, we've had the land appetizers and it's true Nonna knows her stuff! Next time we fly in from the Netherlands we're definitely putting Nonna on the schedule.

11/07/2026: Absolutely loved this place. The service is amazing and engaging. We learned so many Italian words - manifico, delisioso, perfetto! All of them apply to this restaurant. The food was delicious and special. Red prawns cooked to perfection, local lemon pasta and sponge cake infused with limoncello are amazing. Extensive wine list. Beyond the food, the view is amazing! A bit on a pricey side but the food and the view are worth it.

09/07/2026: Beautiful spot for dinner or drinks. Menu is fairly large with an option for all dietary restrictions. Expect to pay $200+ for dinner and drinks. The service is very attentive and friendly without being overbearing. We told them it was our anniversary and they gave us an amazing corner table. The seafood pasta was massive and delicious. The sea bass my husband got was small but also very delicious. Espresso at the end was strong and robust. If you dine for dinner, it wouldn’t hurt to bring bug spray as the mosquitos can be aggressive. The view from the dining area balcony is extensive and so gorgeous as you watch the sun set.
