I confirm my excellent rating of this restaurant: everything is fresh and original in the presentation of the dishes, the staff is extremely kind, the atmosphere is elegant and quiet with soft music. The bill is reasonable for the high quality of the food. I will definitely return and recommend it to all fish and seafood lovers.

We visited Sa Tanca twice during our stay in Rome, which already says a lot about how much we enjoyed the food and experience here. Despite not having reservations on both occasions, the lady boss kindly accommodated us, which we really appreciated. The seafood quality was surprisingly excellent and fresh, and after the first dinner we immediately knew we wanted to return again before leaving Rome. During our first visit, we had the grilled langoustines, chilled sea snails served with cut fruits, spaghetti alle vongole, and a squid ink pasta with tomato sauce and red snapper. Everything was beautifully prepared, especially the seafood, which tasted incredibly fresh. On our second visit, we tried the lobster pasta, monkfish pasta, and turbot soup. We also ordered the sea snails again because they were honestly one of the most memorable dishes we had in Rome. A special mention to the waiter who served us both times — he was extremely friendly and even recognised us immediately when we returned for the second dinner, which made the experience feel even more welcoming. For the quality of seafood, portion sizes, and service, we found the pricing very reasonable. We spent around €90–102 for dinner depending on the dishes and drinks ordered, which felt fair for the experience we had. Would definitely recommend this place to seafood lovers visiting Rome, and we will absolutely return if we visit the city again.

The raw seafood is definitely the highlight, and the staff is friendly, courteous, and very professional. Definitely recommended for those looking for raw seafood in central Rome.

Extremely fresh seafood, some of the best oysters I've ever had, and good portions. Service was top-notch, and the overall experience has beaten everything else I've had while in Rome. A must try if you enjoy fresh, unadulterated seafood.

We had our anniversary dinner and loved the food. Great menu, friendly and elegant service. The interior is a bit gloomy but it’s ok. We were looking for a fish restaurant to book and I think this was the best choice. I recommend tasting their menu and wines. Thank you!

It was nice to be able to enjoy peat whiskey with excellent oysters at a reasonable price. However, the shrimp lacked flavor, and the shellfish were disappointing in terms of purging.
