05/06/2026: When you dream of finding that one amazing restaurant while you're visiting Italy... you've found it, it's Taberna Santona. I walked in on a Friday evening not long after they opened. I'd read many great reviews and was nervous that the place would be fully booked, but to my surprise there was a choice of tables both inside and outside. All the staff spoke Italian with me and one server even kindly told me I spoke well, which I really appreciated because it means a lot to hear that from a native speaker. Everyone was pleasant, no one seemed impatient or uncaring. Tourists were treated as kindly as locals. Staff checked in a few times to see how everything was, including the owner (I think) who seemed genuinely pleased to hear that people were enjoying their food. I had the insalata normanna, which was an interesting mix of things i never would've thought to combine in one dish, but it worked very well. I thought the onion was a little overpowering but that was a minor detail. I then had the couscous Carlofortina which was also quite good. Both dishes were light yet still enough to make for a solid meal. Everyone raves about the chocolate cake, rightfully so because it was so good I got a second piece to bring with me. Get it with caramel and whipped cream. I'm not normally a caramel fan but i impulsively said yes when asked if i wanted it. this caramel tasted divine, not like it came from a jar. All the desserts are homemade too. The people seated next to me were talking about how delicious the panna cotta was. Places like these are what you'll remember months and years after your visit, and i hope to be able to come back soon. Grazie mille per tutto 😋🍽🩷

15/07/2026: Excellent dishes, but we had little doubt about that... actually, none. The added value of this restaurant is the wait staff: young, super-efficient, and professional, whose kindness and courtesy aren't just superficial, but, in my opinion, stem from a desire to do their job well. This world still has hope! Back to the menu....Fregola with shellfish....amazing!

15/07/2026: This upscale restaurant isn't exactly suited to a quick bite, but it's a great place to enjoy authentic fresh seafood and top-notch dishes. Definitely worth a try.

08/06/2026: We were a group for breakfast. Admittedly, the food was delicious. However, two people went to get ice cream next door after breakfast, and the staff seemed annoyed that they were eating it right next to the sidewalk. I suppose I understand, but shooing away people who had just eaten breakfast there while the rest of the group was still finishing theirs? I don't know, it's a bit debatable.

29/07/2026: A real blast. A fantastic pizzeria. Delicious pizza. Friendly service. You don't have to wait long. The tables are outside in a park-like setting, which is fantastic.

04/07/2026: Our favourite restaurant in Cala Gonone! The best pizza and wine with a gorgeous outdoor setting. We ate here twice in the couple days we visited and absolutely loved it

10/07/2026: Impeccable place, clean and welcoming, the girls impeccable and attentive, Marica the super head waiter, superb raw fish and equally excellent fried fish, it's certainly expensive but worth it. Highly recommended.

07/07/2026: A small, outstanding restaurant with very personal and excellent service, as well as absolutely exceptional food, is worth a trip! From the very beginning, communication was great, the service was incredibly attentive and child-friendly, and the staff were always attentive and extremely courteous – something that isn't a given at this level, anywhere. Special requests were handled perfectly, so even "adult" dishes were available for the children. The dishes were all uncluttered and not overly elaborate, but rather down-to-earth and honest, using only the highest quality ingredients, prepared with palpable love for the food, resulting in a dish that offers an absolute harmony that is second to none. 15/07/2026: Amazing. I stopped by with my girlfriend for lunch while we were on vacation. The atmosphere was elegant, with soft music and a beautiful painting on the wall. The staff were extremely kind and professional, the food was delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. Highly recommended.

01/06/2026: Let's start with the kindness, top 10 with honors. They were so kind to change an order when the pasta was ready because my friend had forgotten he couldn't have Amatriciana. The atmosphere is lovely, not typical of Roman taverns, and the food is good... Especially the sour cherry tart... I hope we'll be back in greater numbers to try the pinsa!

29/04/2026: I visited this restaurant for dinner in February 2026. The dishes were quite visually appealing, perhaps designed more for social media than for taste. The flavors were disappointing, and the quality didn't seem up to par: the bread seemed day-old, and the pitted olives resembled jarred ones, which is unacceptable in Sardinia. I especially don't recommend the cheese board, which tastes nauseating. The menu offers mostly plant-based versions of typically omnivorous dishes, with little research or innovation: more than reinterpretations, they seemed like poor copies. The prices were unreasonable, perhaps aimed at tourists, and certainly not justified by the quality. As a vegan, and having tried excellent plant-based restaurants, I know there's much more to be done: here, there's a lot of form, little substance.

22/04/2026: A true vegan restaurant in Cagliari's historic center. Wide selection and outdoor seating in a pedestrian area. Worth a visit for those who love healthy and ethical food. Clean and with an open kitchen. Fair prices.

06/07/2026: The food was delicious, fresh, and aromatic. The fish was perfect and juicy. We gladly returned to this restaurant; it's one of the best in the area. The drinks were excellent. :-)

05/07/2026: Fantastic place, peaceful, relaxed, ideal atmosphere. Friendly, cheerful, and attentive waiters who make their work an art. The food was fabulous, especially the baked sea bass with vegetables. And you absolutely have to try the tiramisu! We'll be back!

09/06/2026: Yesterday I went to this restaurant for the first time and was truly thrilled. The location is stunning: right in front of the harbor, and we dined on a terrace with a wonderful view of the sea and the boats. We enjoyed an excellent seafood appetizer, delicious spicy octopus, fried calamari, and French fries on the side. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and fast. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxing, and the service impeccable. The staff, with their professionalism, kindness, and attentiveness, made us feel truly at ease. They were extremely friendly and attentive: we felt pampered throughout the evening. Excellent value for money. It was a wonderful experience, and we will definitely be back. Highly recommended! 😊

23/07/2026: A restaurant with a spacious dining room and plenty of tables, certainly suitable for families. The food is excellent, both the classic cuisine and the pizza. The fish is incredibly fresh. The scampi linguine is fabulous. Prices are in line with the quality of the products. The service is attentive and well-organized. The bathrooms are clean. The interior is well-maintained.
