10/02/2026: I guess, the best place in town

27/01/2026: We travel frequently and I don’t recall ever eating at the same restaurant twice on a trip. Until now. We were so blown away by the pizzas as desserts that we had to return. The inferi pizza with cheese and dried tomato stuffed crust was the family favorite. But the desserts…wow! The tiramisu was excellent and the warm chocolate torta was dream worthy.

23/01/2026: A two-Michelin-starred restaurant on a side street near the city center: an elegant, modern atmosphere, spanning both the interior and the terrace (with beautiful lamps by Paolo Donadello). The predominantly seafood menu is modest but top-notch, with excellent tastings and the option to customize. The wine list is extensive, and the service is impeccable, attentive, and professional. The price is appropriate for the experience. Highly recommended! 😁

03/04/2026: UPDATE 04/2026 We shared a Caprese salad followed by a mushroom risotto. We were very satisfied with both, as well as the cappuccino that followed. UPDATE 04/2025 The pasta with pesto was delicious, but the seafood risotto was unfortunately primarily a mussel risotto. 04/2024 It's within walking distance of the train station. We like to eat here before continuing our journey when we've flown into Pisa or need to go to the airport. We've always found the staff to be very friendly, and the Caprese and mushroom risotto were excellent.

07/01/2026: It was an excellent seafood restaurant, with an old-fashioned atmosphere, from the furnishings to the classical music in the background, unfortunately on December 31, 2025 it closed, not because of the management's will, but I think on the part of the owners...Sic!!!

15/01/2026: It was my first time at this restaurant, and I have to say everything was impeccable. The fish was fresh and high-quality, the bread was good, as was the oil, wine, and pasta. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the dessert, as I didn't have it (because I'm already a sweet tooth). The staff was also very friendly, especially the waiter. I'll be back.

31/12/2025: The shrimp appetizer was delicious. The girl who greeted us was very nice and friendly. New Year's dinner went well! Thank you. The waiter, a very tall man, was very nice. But the man with glasses is probably the director, also a very nice and nice man. Nice atmosphere. And the prices are good too.

19/01/2026: Excellent...maybe the best pappardelle with white ragu & artichokes & maybe the best tomato ragu. Definitely the best crossata with delicate flavors of fresh berries and cherry!

12/01/2026: A quaint place, recommended by a friend of ours, and it lived up to expectations. Courteous, friendly staff, and excellent food. A varied menu, fresh pasta, and a daily menu are available. The orange tiramisu is a must-try. We'll be back soon on our next trip to Rome.

25/03/2026: My friend Sabrina and I discovered Esco Sazio and fell in love! If you're looking for healthy, nutritious, and super-fresh food, this is the place to be. I had an açai bowl with banana, which was simply delicious, while my friend tried a vegan cornbread sandwich that was truly excellent. You can tell it's a true laboratory: they prepare everything fresh with quality ingredients (because of the laboratory nature, there are no bathrooms for customers, but that's absolutely no problem given the quality of the food!). Everything is freshly made to order in their kitchen laboratory (keep in mind that as a small workshop, they don't have a customer restroom, but it's a tiny detail compared to the quality of the food!). 10/03/2026: Firstly the staff were excellent, very friendly and attentive. The beers on offer were lovely, it was a shame I couldn't try them all. I had The Brewer's Stew which was delicious. If you're in the area pay this place a visit, it's very much worth it.
