We weren't thrilled with the place: the dishes were average with modern reinterpretations of traditional fare, we were practically alone at the table inside, with only another table for two next to us, the bathroom wasn't the cleanest, and the service was a bit slow.

We chose Bacaro for our anniversary dinner; we couldn't have made a better choice. The restaurant is located in a very romantic little street, and the food is delicious and excellent value. Impeccable service; we waited very little for our dishes after ordering. Highly recommended!!! We'll definitely be back! P.S. The owners, Federico and Filippo, are amazing!!!

We ate outside, and despite being just steps from Piazza delle Coppelle, there was absolutely no crowding. Excellent service and excellent food. My only advice is to add a few bottles under €30 to your bucket list.

This small but exquisite restaurant near the Pantheon impresses with its charming Mediterranean ambiance. The wine selection and recommendations were excellent. The appetizers—meatballs with Parmesan and pumpkin with bacon—were delicious and beautifully presented. The main courses, Italian-style pot roast on a bed of potatoes and steak with mushrooms, were an absolute delight, thanks in part to their high quality. The attentive and friendly service from the young ladies rounded off the evening perfectly. Rome at its best. This is bella Italia! Thank you!

Simply state of the art dinner! This was our last dinner of our trip to Italy, we found the restaurant in Trip Advisor and our expectation was to have a nice last dinner. The place, service and food was simply the best of our dinners after 15 days in Italy. Carbonara past and cheek beef were simply outstanding.

Amazing evening from start to finish. The truffle carbonara was outstanding, and Veronica was such a warm and attentive host. The whole place had a magical atmosphere — I’ll definitely be coming back.

12/05/2026: It was already a quality restaurant, with dishes that started from tradition, to which the chef then added his own, without going overboard. The formula has remained unchanged: a simple atmosphere, furnishings in line with current tastes; kind and friendly staff; prompt service. The menu focused on a few select dishes. But from excellent as they were, the selected dishes have now proven delicious, especially the sea bass and cream puffs. The price... in line with the quality.
