05/05/2026: If you like standard Sicilian food served in large portions don’t go here! If you want something a bit different from the run of the mill restaurants, fantastic combinations of flavours and a fine dining experience you must go to this restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful, the service was superb, the presentation of the food a work of art. Can’t recommend it enough, the best restaurant I have been to in Taormina.

22/05/2026: Great food. Loved the tuna trilogy and shrimp pasta. The calamari is not among the best though. It has a nice setting but some tables have quite limited sitting.

20/05/2026: It is a bit unusual that the reception is on the second floor, but overall the service is excellent. It is very pleasant to be served a glass of Presecco as a welcome drink when you are seated. The food is also quite tasty. However, the diffuser scent inside is a bit strong.

28/05/2026: A truly top-notch place. A family-friendly welcome in a highly professional atmosphere. Traditional dishes prepared by expert hands with excellent ingredients. Highly recommended for an aperitif while watching a breathtaking sunset or for a top-notch dinner. As the sun sets, you can dine while admiring the moon, and for those with a keen eye, you can even see the planets Jupiter and Venus, shining like two stars. 03/06/2026: This restaurant was recommended to us by a local who we chatted with at a nearby cafe, so we were looking forward to trying it out. We ordered gnocchi pasta dish with tomato sauce, which tasted homely, had great comforting flavour. We also ordered a tagliatelle dish with mushrooms and truffle, and this tasted incredible. I only gave 4 out of 5 starts because we found a long hair in the tagliatelle, which was disappoiting. Also perhaps a more expensive restaurant than others in the town.

17/05/2026: Lunch on May 18, 2026, as a couple The restaurant's interior is sleek and elegant. Stone walls and beams, several rooms, a warm welcome, and attentive staff. We opted for the €75 set menu plus two à la carte courses and several glasses of wine. Overall, the cuisine at this restaurant is remarkable. Everything we ordered was delicious and exquisitely refined. This restaurant could easily earn a Michelin star in France. For this level of quality, the price (€170) is more than justified.

25/05/2026: A great place to grab a beer or a Scotch... a relaxed atmosphere. They don't serve food, but their beers are excellent. For a peaceful and enjoyable after-dinner drink.

07/05/2026: Excellent pub, great for watching Champions League games. Very friendly service. They don't have a kitchen, but they have an informal partnership with the neighboring pizzeria (which is also very good).

16/05/2026: It was recommended by our local host, Isabella. Casa Niclodi was easily the best meal of our entire trip—we’re still talking about it days later. Every dish was incredible, and you can really feel the care behind the food. The service made it even better—so warm, genuine, and attentive without being over the top. It just felt special from start to finish. Don’t miss this place.
