28/05/2025: Una joya escondida en Udine – ¡Una visita obligada! Tuvimos el placer de cenar en este maravilloso restaurante familiar en Udine, y fue realmente una experiencia inolvidable. Desde el momento en que entramos, nos recibieron con calidez y hospitalidad genuina que nos hizo sentir como en casa. Inmediatamente puedes sentir la pasión que esta familia pone en todo lo que hacen, desde los platos bellamente preparados hasta la selección de vinos cuidadosamente seleccionados. La comida era simplemente excepcional: fresca, sabrosa, y claramente hecha con amor. Cada bocado contaba una historia de tradición y dedicación a la calidad. La selección de vinos fue igualmente impresionante, con excelentes opciones locales que complementaron perfectamente la comida. Es raro encontrar un lugar donde te sientas como un huésped y parte de la familia, pero este restaurante logra ese equilibrio sin esfuerzo. Muy recomendable para cualquiera que visite Udine — este lugar es una verdadera celebración de la hospitalidad italiana y la excelencia culinaria.

09/06/2025: Had a beautiful meal at this restaurant. We sat in the outside part so didn’t really experience the atmosphere in the restaurant. The service was great and the food delicious. Really good value too, four meals, four drinks (including a beer) for less than £50.

24/05/2025: Hanno pergolato esterno davvero stupendo, vale la pena e il viaggio, il posto è incantevole e adatto a grandi gruppi ma anche in coppia. Tuttavia, i piatti puntano a essere ricercati ma a detta nostra mancano di sostanza e personalità, ci sono le idee, il menu è ben fatto e articolato e le materie prime ottime, ma abbiamo rilevato delle grosse sbavature: il gran crudo di verdure sono 25 gr di insalata (tipi diversi ma insalata), costo 22 euro, il risotto vuole sembrare creativo ma senza successo, lo servono in un piatto enorme, saranno 35 gr di riso, e all’occhio risulta pasticciato e confuso, il gusto non ci ha convinto. La pasta senza personalità. Per un pranzo di rappresentanza starete benissimo ma non convince per la sostanza. Inoltre cercano di venderti l’abbinamento di vino o al calice che detta dello chef si sposa sempre bene con qualcosa che mangi ma anche li, prezzi esagerati per calici mignon. Ci siamo sentiti un pò circoscritti. Dolci piccoli, anch’essi a prezzi esagerati (dai 12 euro in su)

18/04/2025: Selection of refined dishes worthy of the Michelin star, constantly varied with tasting menu proposals. Provided selection of native wines and local classics. Welcoming and courteous staff. Definitely not to be missed. Reservation required especially in high season.

A pigeon to scream ... but no less the other dishes! An excellent cellar with more than honest markups! The staff is prepared and attentive! We will return very willingly! Thank you 🙏

22/05/2025: Premetto che sono stata invitata ad un battesimo e pertanto il menù era già stato deciso. La location è proprio a bordo lago a Sarnico ma non si vede il panorama né dall'interno né dal dehoor che è circondato da siepi perché trovasi proprio sulla strada trafficata, comunque il locale all'interno è tutto ben ristrutturato, piacevole con dei tocchi alle pareti a tratti un pó kitch (ma è questione di gusti). Menù deludente: antipasto di salumi con cucchiaio di polenta taragna e funghi (la portata migliore) ; il risotto al vino calepino quasi amaro tale era la quantità di vino ; manzo all'olio duro tagliato spesso e pieno di nervi, immangiabile; crostata di frutta che pareva fatta con base di pasta brisee già pronta, tristissima. Forse bisognerebbe provare il menù alla carta, per ora esperienza negativa.

01/06/2025: An outstanding restaurant run by Ambrogio. He and his team are very quality-conscious, serving excellent cuisine with great finesse. Certainly one of the best restaurants in the Castelsardo region. I've been here several times and will continue to visit Il Cormorano many more times.

01/06/2025: What a wonderful restaurant. Every aspect was top top top, the food was amazing, the wine recommendations were both terrific value and delicious!! And to top it all off, the service was the best I've had in a restaurant in a long time (and I go to a lot of restaurants) From the gracious expert advice of the owner to the wait staff. 21/04/2025: After dreaming about it so much, my partner and I go to Andreina. We have followed and esteemed the chef for some time, and therefore the expectations are very high, the emotion is great. Therefore I am very sorry to describe our experience in these terms: We start very badly with the service: we are brought a welcome bubble, we choose the "smoking" menu and decide to take a bottle. We ask which macerated wines are on the menu. Answer: not present. We ask for some Orange, answer: I can make you a juice. We understand that there is not what we are looking for and we choose the tasting of 3 glasses, asking for reds at this point. The first glass is brought to us without any interest in first understanding our tastes (perhaps the absence of coravin inhibits the pairing). A low-priced wine that we already knew and in our opinion not of very high quality. In the meantime, 1 hour and 15 minutes have passed, 2 glasses were brought to us without any plans or cutlery. We give some indication of our tastes for the subsequent wines and it goes a little better, but now we are resigned that the experience of wine will not entertain us as much as that of food. In fact, the service continues more relaxed from then on and the food is excellent, from the first course to the dessert. We really appreciate the guys in the room but above all the chef's humility in coming to the tables several times, his evident passion and above all the desire to share hard work and research with the diners, work that can be felt entirely. However, from a restaurant of this size and for the price paid, one expects excellent service and a sommelier attentive to making the drinking experience live which accompanies and enhances the taste experience. This, to my enormous regret, did not happen. Hoping that our criticism is understood in a constructive way, I highly recommend a Coravin (also because there are important labels on the menu while the glasses served for tasting disappointed us a little) and greater attention to service. We will continue to follow the chef's journey with esteem, but we will not return any time soon because for many, having this experience requires a considerable financial outlay and the experience was not up to par due to the service which I would define as "not very pampered".

04/06/2025: The best food we had in our 2 week trip to Italy. If you do anything while in Positano/Amalfi Coast- come here. The service is absolutely incredible- so attentive, kind, and family owned. Feels like you’re dining with friends rather than at a restaurant. The food is absolutely phenomenal- every single dish we had was incredible. So much that we ordered two desserts. Highly highly recommend.

01/06/2025: By far my favorite meal while spending time in Italy. Food and service were amazing. We made our two daughters hike up the hill to reach the restaurant and after dinner they said it was worth the hike up. We had the truffle pasta, risotto, gnocchi special and fruit di mar pasta. All were very tasty. Hospitality was great. I highly recommend this restaurant when in Positano!!!

It's the first time I come and I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent quality of the products and the welcome of the staff, especially Federica who followed us from the beginning to the end of the dinner. 11/06/2025: I recently celebrated my 50th birthday with a small private dinner at Le Jardin, Hotel de Russie in Rome. I had planned everything months in advance, including a custom cake, and the F&B manager was wonderful—responsive, courteous, and professional throughout the planning process. Unfortunately, the execution on the night of the event fell far short of expectations. Despite being a special occasion, the service was marred by several avoidable missteps. Our waiter served the men first, brought incorrect cocktails to my guests, and—most awkwardly—presented the birthday cake without any candles. When I politely asked about the candle, the waiter offered an unconvincing excuse, claiming the pastry chef had been instructed “no candles,” which was simply not true. Instead of acknowledging the oversight and correcting it gracefully, he doubled down and made the situation more uncomfortable. After so much thoughtful planning, it was disheartening to experience such a lack of attention to detail at what is meant to be a five-star establishment. While the food was excellent, the service did not reflect the level of hospitality one would expect from a hotel of this caliber. I left a nominal tip, far below the suggested amount, as the experience simply did not warrant it.

18/05/2025: As far as I know, it's the only Michelin-starred restaurant you can visit with your dog. It's been one of the best restaurants on Lake Garda for many years and has rightfully been awarded a Michelin star for many years without interruption.

05/05/2025: Ho festeggiato il mio compleanno in questo ristorante e l'esperienza è stata fantastica! L'atmosfera è accogliente e calorosa, con una vista davvero spettacolare. The best were the courses: colourful, aromatic and delicious. The only note concerns the choice of 10 courses which, unfortunately (or fortunately), left us full before the end. The duration was a little long for us, but we were the ones who chose the menu. However, an unforgettable experience!

Unwrapped for business lunches. You need to have at least 2 and a half hours for a simple, not to mention poor, mixed grill. The former however are acceptable... Not recommended
