15/02/2026: I've been to this restaurant before and have always had good food. However, after Valentine's Day, I feel compelled to write this negative review because I feel completely cheated. The menu included two appetizers, one first course, one second course, and one dessert for €45. Let's just say I wasn't entirely impressed with the menu, with dishes that I found tasteless and bland. The key issue was the portions; both my partner and I left the restaurant feeling absolutely starving. The two appetizers were literally three forkfuls, the first about 80 grams of rice, and the second a truly ridiculous slice of meat. What really pisses me off is that they're taking advantage of these holidays to rip off customers by promoting four-course menus plus dessert, which in reality amount to little more than an aperitif at €45 per person. That said, because of this incident, I don't think I'll ever return to this place because I felt completely cheated. PS: I told the waitress several times that everything was fine simply because my partner didn't want to start a row. 2 stars instead of one because the place is nice and the atmosphere was pleasant.

The dishes are traditional with a few twists, well-executed and of excellent quality. The woman who served us was very kind and professional. Overall, a good experience: if you're looking for a quiet place just steps from Spaccanapoli, this is the place for you.

02/04/2026: 30 people's birthday party on Tuesday evening, the bill was around €1,400. We weren't even asked if we wanted dessert. We asked for a free shot and were told no. It's a shame because the food is good and the waitresses are very nice, but they were clearly worried, as the owner himself conveyed. We were a group of young people, loud, yes, 20-year-olds, but all polite. We didn't break anything. We were practically kicked out of the place. He started off by saying, "Whoever has to pay, get in line!" and we were treated like plague victims. It's a real shame, but I think they changed management when it was called Italy Food; the owner was definitely nicer. I repeat, the bill was €1,400 on Tuesday evening.

28/03/2026: We've been coming here for several years, and the service has been impeccable: the staff is kind, professional, and always attentive without being intrusive. Each dish was a real surprise, both in presentation and flavor. The ingredients are top-quality, and you can sense the great care taken in their preparation. I highly recommend trying the house specialties, which perfectly blend tradition and innovation. The wine list is also well-stocked and offers excellent pairings. A restaurant definitely worth a visit. Well done.

15/01/2026: A fantastic restaurant in Malcesine. It might seem a bit touristy at first, but we ate there three times during our holiday. Always delicious. The service is outstanding; the waiters are all very friendly and funny. We felt very comfortable there and would definitely eat there again if we were ever in Malcesine again. 30/03/2026: An intimate restaurant with meticulous attention to detail in a truly remarkable location. I would have liked to try more dishes, but the prices (though still reasonable for the location) didn't allow for it. The lard in the antipasto con moccetta was remarkable; it truly melted in the mouth. The pappardelle with wild boar ragù was very good, but would have looked better on a ceramic plate than in a pan, where it seemed sparse in quantity. The house mint-based digestif was excellent. There was nothing to complain about the quality of the service or the kindness of the waiters, absolutely worthy of the place.
