17/03/2026: Very elegant restaurant but we were disappointed by the food. Gracious service. I had pasta with lobster which was quite nice. The sauce ofolive oil and cherry tomato was light and bright. The tail had been loosened from the shell but it was difficult to get at any other meaty bits as no special implements were provided nor finger bowls. I expect diners here are too elegant to wrestle with their shellfish. My companion had grilled swordfish which was dry. The steaks were very thin, less than a centimetre thick. That’s likely a management decision which makes the work of the kitchen staff near impossible. We ordered two contorni. Grilled mixed vegetables were tough and dry for the most part. Partly the consequence of slicing courgettes and aubergines too thinly. Partly the decision to over-grill resulting in a good looking dish at the expense of tenderness. There was a bottle of olive provided that helped. No seasoning. The other dish of aubergine salad was tasty and well seasoned from capers but served stone cold straight from the fridge. It could have been improved by serving slightly chilled or at room temperature.

07/01/2026: I ate really well...and as a vegetarian in the mountains, that's not always easy. Delicious, bold cheeses accompanied by pear mustard (what a kick! 😜), polenta with mushrooms and flowers, and an excellent Amarone. The tiramisu at the end knocked me out!! See you soon!!!

28/03/2026: One of the hotels that left me speechless. The extremely kind, professional, and helpful staff. A 6-star welcome for our four-legged friend. A super comfortable bed, his bowls, and a sweet treat of biscuits. The most beautiful sea view room I've ever seen. The attention to detail in the furnishings, from the lighting to the fabrics, was perfect. Since it was March, we didn't use the pool or beach, which will certainly be a plus in the summer. The room had everything you need, even for the beach. The location in the center of Sorrento is perfect for exploring the city on foot, and close to the square and all amenities. For those who want to treat themselves to a wonderful pampering experience, this place will leave you speechless.

04/11/2025: The Manager was fantastic. Our kids are 3y and 1y old and we were there quite late at around 7pm. He was very patient. He brought some colour pens and papers for the kids to keep them happy and made space on our table for some of our toys. We ordered our food and he said they will prepare the food for the kids first and once they are ready, they will start with ours so that we have some time to feed pur kids first. That was not only nice but also very caring. The food quality was very good, the portions were great and filled us pretty well and also the desert was absolutely awesome. Normally people want to sell as much as possible but the manager was different. When we ordered desert, he recommended to order one first because it might be too much and once we think we can make the second it won‘t take long. Bur also all other staff was vedy friendly and helpful. I don‘t know many places where people are so passionate in their job. Absolutely recommendable.

07/03/2026: Very beautiful place, a true winter garden, welcoming and well-kept. Intimate and with a top-notch welcome. The staff's courtesy and service were 5-star. There were three of us, and we had a mixed antipasto of cold cuts, cheeses, and warm focaccia, plus plates of arrosticini, three pizzas, drinks, and dessert. Everything was wonderful. Delicious, you could tell the ingredients were high-quality, and even three of us, with sensitive stomachs, didn't feel heavy at all. We went home very satisfied and will definitely be back. Thank you ❤️

06/03/2026: The atmosphere was very welcoming, but my eggplant pizza was terrible. The breaded eggplant was unpalatable, and the pizza was a bit too burnt. The other options, according to friends, were good. Very few alternatives to pizza, just a few salads.

It's just that... despite it being well-deserved, I've never left a review, a review that must be five stars, and why shouldn't it? Given that the location is superbly nestled in the historic heart of Rome, maintained with love and professionalism, I fondly remember the mountains of flowers that were there during the spring and summer months. Shall we move on to the place? Beautiful, welcoming, clean, simply set, yet elegantly furnished, and why not talk about the staff? They too, without exception, were welcoming, clean, courteous, attentive, and everything beautiful you can think of. All that remains is the food. Do I even need to tell you how it tastes? I don't think so... I simply invite you to try it. I forgot, congratulations on the recently added covered outdoor area. Thank you.

04/04/2026: A Perfect Final Meal in Rome. For our last meal in Rome, we were craving a truly authentic Italian lasagne — and wow, did we find it here! It absolutely did not disappoint. The lasagne was everything we hoped for: rich, comforting, and full of incredible flavour. You could really tell it was made with care and traditional ingredients. We also ordered a pizza, which was equally stunning — perfectly cooked and delicious. This was just meant to be a quick lunch before heading off, but it ended up being a really memorable final meal of our trip. The staff were lovely and attentive throughout. Even though the location was quite busy when we arrived, it was no problem for them at all — they quickly found us a table inside and made us feel very welcome. The restaurant itself was also very clean and well kept, which always adds to the experience. Overall, a fantastic spot for authentic Italian food. We’re so glad we stopped here before leaving Rome. Would definitely recommend!

30/01/2026: The worst Tyrolean schnitzel with potato salad I've ever eaten as a chef. Pre-made schnitzel, deep-frozen and thrown into the deep fryer. That's how you drive away every tourist in the long run. And at gourmet prices!!!??? Pride comes before a fall!!!
