19/08/2025: Excellent food and value. The dishes use top-quality ingredients. The wine list is good, though not particularly extensive, which isn't a problem at all, but makes choosing easier. The staff is very kind and friendly. The experience is worth repeating.

05/08/2025: Very pleasant and quiet atmosphere behind the castle. We sat outside on a panoramic terrace. The food was delicious. It's a shame about the service... extremely slow!

31/07/2025: We went for dinner and had some super tasty pinsa! There are so many different types! There's even a section of the menu dedicated to custom pinsas from some really intriguing customers. Great prices and a welcoming atmosphere. Definitely worth a try and a return visit!

13/08/2025: BEWARE OF THE OWNER CARLO - A RUDE MAN - CALLING HIM A RESTAURATEUR IS AN OFFENSE TO THE ENTIRE INDUSTRY! A reservation for 4 adults + 2 strollers (2 infants, so just 2 months old) was made 15 days in advance. Due to a problem, the other couple of friends couldn't join us, so we stopped by the restaurant IN PERSON, 2 HOURS BEFORE THE RESERVATION TIME TO NOTIFY. No problem, we'll seat you by 8:45 PM. We arrived at 8:44 PM in the rain with a 2-month-old baby: sorry, you'll have to wait outside, I have to turn the tables twice. UNFAIR! WITH A 2-MONTH-OLD BABY IN THE RAIN! RUDE, UNFAIR! I'm not telling you to yell at me in Abruzzese dialect, following my calm and polite request for an explanation after waiting 10 minutes in the rain... A PERSON TO AVOID! COUPLES AND FAMILIES RUN AWAY! RUN AWAY!

22/08/2025: The cheese platter with "i caci del parco" cheeses was delicious, truly special and delicious. If you like strong cheese flavors, you can't miss this appetizer. The first courses we ordered were simple and delicious. The owner and the head waiter were really kind. We spent around 60 euros, including wine. Highly recommended! 👍

09/08/2025: Absolutely fantastic Carbonara. I love that you can get it in different portion sizes too. Sadly only managed the normal one but determined to return after a hike and go for a bigger plate. Very high quality food and very friendly service. Highly recommended.

21/07/2025: Excellent! This is the most important reason to visit Rocca Pia, a charming and authentic village in itself. We were welcomed warmly, immediately engaged in a frank conversation, and the food was exceptional. Highly recommended!

11/08/2025: If I could give the service a sixth star, I would gladly do so. We were treated with care and attention from the very beginning by Piero, a wonderful person. Another pleasant surprise was Luigi's cuisine, which delighted us both at breakfast and dinner. What can I say? With such attention to guests, even the small and normal imperfections of the hotel go completely unnoticed... thank you for everything.

02/08/2025: Mr. Piero was incredibly friendly, helpful, and always ready to offer advice and fulfill requests. Kudos also to chef Luigi, who delighted us every evening with delicious, varied, simple, and authentic dishes. The hotel was simple, clean, and comfortable. Giacomina the bear, who even walked by our window one night, was a real treat.

09/08/2025: I don't think I'll go back because the lamb sauce was very simple puree, used for pizza, with the addition of a skewer: disappointing.

06/08/2025: The photo of the view from the veranda says it all. You can choose between a pizzeria and a restaurant, so everyone's happy! The service isn't lightning-fast, but the owner is very kind and helpful and even split a table for us to sit on the terrace. The meat menu isn't extensive, but it's excellent quality. Try the St. George lamb, if you can find it! The tiramisu is homemade, so leave some room. In conclusion, little form and lots of substance, a place worth trying!

24/08/2025: We went for lunch and it wasn't possible to have the red polenta and gnocchi with sauce included on the menu... we ordered two mixed roasts for €18 each, a paltry portion, and the lamb was missing, replaced with artistic ones. The pork was undercooked. We didn't like it.

24/08/2025: We went for dinner to enjoy supplì and pizza, and the quality of the food was excellent! Crispy and dry fried food, very good and digestible pizza dough, and plenty of fresh and tasty toppings. The place is also pleasant and welcoming, surrounded by greenery. It was just a little noisy, but it was August, so it was a very touristy time.

12/07/2025: The quality of the dishes is excellent. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. The wine cellar is good. The lemon delight is excellent and artisanal. The portions are generous, perhaps too large... It would be better if they told you when you order so as not to leave food on your plate.

16/08/2025: An hour's wait for a pizza that tasted like a piadina... The sauce and mozzarella were good and more or less saved the pizza, but the dough was too thin and crunchy, making it impossible to handle because it crumbled. Perhaps the service was slow and the pizza unsatisfactory because it was a Saturday night... Some friends had spoken highly of it, so I was sorry to be so disappointed. Cocktail €2, the most expensive pizza €9 without extras.
