The hotel is welcoming and well-maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The location is convenient for both business travelers and those exploring the area. The restaurant was a real surprise: tasty dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The portions are generous, the presentation is meticulous, and the service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is familiar yet elegant, perfect for relaxing dinners or convivial gatherings. A strong point is definitely the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, always ready to satisfy every need with a smile. 30/12/2025: Reading the various reviews, I find myself perfectly aligned with the difficult, sometimes impossible, reservations. Unfortunately, often with less than friendly phone and in-person responses. Having made this necessary introduction, I can only say positive things about this restaurant, provided you manage to find a free table, which we did last winter, and by the most fortuitous of circumstances (after trying to book by phone for about a month). Every first and second course, the desserts, the wine list, everything is sublime. The reputation is well deserved. The village of Pescocostanzo, as you leave the restaurant, is absolutely enchanting in winter, and that adds to the picture. Update 12/29/2024 After multiple attempts to book, including in person, we were unable to eat. Update 12/30/2025 For the second year in a row, after repeated attempts, it is impossible to eat at this restaurant.

02/12/2025: I feel sorry for the owner; the food is good, but they need to fix the issue with The Fork app. I went to the restaurant after making a reservation using The Fork app, but when I checked out, I couldn't pay because the restaurant isn't enabled. The owner also looked at me and said I wasn't the first to have this problem, but didn't do anything to fix it. There's no point in attracting customers with The Fork if they can't complete the reservation. I was forced to pay by card, without taking advantage of a single The Fork benefit (points, discounts, gift cards, promotions, etc.—could they at least offer a discount?). The place looks really good, and I'm sorry to cause this bad publicity. I hope they can fix this problem and that it never happens to anyone again.

20/01/2026: We had lunch today at GINO RISTORANTE in SULMONA. The atmosphere is great, the food is extremely well-presented and very tasty, the service is very polite and helpful, and the gluten-free dessert was divine. Highly recommended.

21/11/2025: “Corso Stretto” was a truly pleasant discovery: a small but meticulously crafted restaurant with just a few tables, so reservations are recommended. The menu is refined, innovative without compromising on tradition, and the dishes are always beautifully presented. We tried: artisanal rigatoni with ricotta, sausage, and truffle: excellent. The gnocchi with pumpkin, porcini mushrooms, and stracciatella were also very good. The suckling pig with truffles and chicory was equally impressive. To finish, the gianduia fondant—original and delicious—and a lemon tartlet, beautiful to look at and delicious. The prices are fair, especially considering the central location.
