18/09/2025: I had the pleasure of staying at Albergo Montereale Thomas and also trying their restaurant: an experience I highly recommend. The hotel is welcoming and well-maintained, with clean, comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need for a pleasant stay. The location is convenient for both business travelers and those exploring the area. The restaurant was a real surprise: tasty dishes prepared with fresh, quality ingredients. The portions are generous, the presentation is meticulous, and the service is attentive and friendly. The atmosphere is familiar yet elegant, perfect for relaxing dinners or convivial gatherings. A strong point is definitely the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, always ready to satisfy every need with a smile. In short: authentic hospitality, excellent cuisine, and an atmosphere that makes you feel at home. I will definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

12/09/2025: I'll start by saying I've never used the hotel, but the trattoria takes you back in time. What can I say? The food here is excellent, using local produce at very reasonable prices. The friendly, fast, and family-friendly service immediately puts you at ease, making it feel like you're having lunch with friends. It's a regular stop whenever I'm in the area. And I forgot, the portions are generous.

28/09/2025: A really cute and welcoming place. Unfortunately, it was too cold to sit outside, but the interior is also very well-maintained. The first courses and desserts are delicious, with ingredients that taste fresh. The service was excellent, and the hostess was very helpful and friendly. We'll definitely be back!

24/08/2025: We went for lunch and it wasn't possible to have the red polenta and gnocchi with sauce included on the menu... we ordered two mixed roasts for €18 each, a paltry portion, and the lamb was missing, replaced with artistic ones. The pork was undercooked. We didn't like it.

15/09/2025: A beautiful, elegant venue, tastefully furnished, with fast and elegant service. Recommended for those with high-class taste buds.

22/09/2025: We were yesterday for the June 2nd celebration in this restaurant that my sister already knew, but I, even though I'm from the area, had never eaten there. The place has been renovated compared to the past and is very welcoming. Courteous and very kind staff, but above all a quantity in the dishes that is rare if not unique to see in restaurants. Quantity but also a lot of quality... everything is really excellent! With a first course without exaggerating, 3 people can eat there! Try it to believe if I'm exaggerating! I will definitely go back soon... I recommend it without hesitation. The photos of the first courses that I publish are for one person only! You can also have one divided between two...

05/10/2025: Starting with the warm welcome from Maria and her entire staff, which takes you back to family Sundays, the dishes offered are a blend of tradition and innovation. From the tartare to the simply spectacular first courses, to the cod with polenta...and finishing with the top-quality meat. We'll definitely be back. P.S. The enchanting garden, where the kids can have fun and play, is equally spectacular.

18/09/2025: The restaurant is surrounded by a large, meticulously maintained garden. The staff was courteous and professional. We ate lunch on the outdoor patio and it was very pleasant. We chose the tartare 2.0. The meat was good, as was the pasta with guinea fowl and asparagus ragu and the sciarpella. The desserts were tasty and well-made. Congratulations...Recommended restaurant!

04/10/2025: A must-visit restaurant with excellent home-cooked food. The occasion was a family birthday lunch, and we were truly pampered. Thanks to all the staff, and congratulations again.

28/09/2025: Disappointing: the dish didn't match the description. The guanciale wasn't crispy. The basil emulsion was missing, and the ravioli were filled with ricotta, not burrata.

19/09/2025: An exclusive location of historical and artistic interest, rich in rural culture, with an exhibition of various tools and instruments from the past. A well-organized, walkable route within the walls, amidst greenery and shaded areas, allows you to enjoy a private evening. Otherwise, there are some nuances, primarily regarding the appetizers, which are acceptable but could be enhanced with other delicious dishes. The pizza, presented as the pizza chef's specialty, didn't quite meet my expectations, as a true Campanian is quite demanding. The pizza could have been improved in the dough's leavening and in the use of raw materials. What I didn't enjoy (and even in my stomach) were the beans with liver, disguised as sausage...to be avoided. Could be improved.

19/08/2025: A delightful place. The ravioli alla roccolana are unbeatable. The cuisine is meticulously prepared, and the service is courteous and efficient. I highly recommend it!

18/10/2025: I can't comment on the rooms, but the restaurant offers excellent cuisine in a beautiful location. The appetizers were excellent, as was the first course, ravioli with walnut cream, and the mixed roast of local meats. The staff was very kind and welcoming. Thanks to Marco and Annalisa.

01/09/2025: This charming little house nestled in the countryside, with an attached parking area, is located a few kilometers from Monticchio, which is strategically located near the city of L'Aquila, the Stiffe Caves, and the historic villages of the municipality of L'Aquila, but also not far from Santo Stefano di Sessanio or Rocca Calascio. Rooms are located on the ground or first floor, with a security door, safes in some rooms, photocell-controlled outdoor lights, a small TV, spacious and fairly clean rooms, and modern bathrooms. The staff are very welcoming and helpful. Breakfast includes homemade pastries, delicious tarts and chocolate cakes, savory dishes, seasonal fruit, and homemade yogurt. The variety isn't exceptional, but it's adequate for the property. The apartment owners' restaurant and pizzeria serve delicious, well-leavened and highly digestible pizzas, made with top-quality ingredients.

27/09/2025: Excellent arrosticini and mutton. I can't say much about the first courses because we didn't order them. Prices are good, croissants, service is ok. There was a bit of a wait for the bill, but nothing excessive. Nice and welcoming place.

06/09/2025: The pizza was truly delicious, worthy of a 5-star rating. But the fact that they don't allow dogs (among the few remaining in Italy, only Abruzzo) is unfortunately a reason not to return. There were five of us, including a toy poodle, which we had to leave in the car. Given the time, we couldn't find anything else. They don't even accept credit cards.

19/07/2025: Sono stata in questo ristorante spettacolare con una bellissima vista, se al tramonto ancor di più. La sala interna ha un affresco sul soffitto molto suggestivo. I proprietari sono molto accoglienti, gentili ( qualità non scontata al giorno d'oggi) e super professionali... ti senti quasi a casa!! I prodotti sono freschi, buonissimi e locali ( ad esempio le verdure sono le loro e la pasta viene fatta dal cuoco al momento). Ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo!!

30/08/2025: We had An excellent visit and tasting last week. I was a little surprised at first by the price but it was great value. The wines were excellent and Francesca was a thoroughly knowledgeable wine expert. We experienced the journey from vines in the field to the production methods to the tasting. And the meats, cheeses and breads were delicious. I would highly recommend a visit. The wine prices are good too!

22/08/2025: This afternoon we took a tour and tasting. The products offered are excellent (from wines to liqueurs), and the Margiotta family's passion and commitment shine through. The accompanying platter was also very much appreciated (good, and above all, local, products!). We must also mention our guide Francesca, who, with her kindness and professionalism, introduced us to a part of her world that we understand she is, rightly, proud of.

05/08/2025: After the 2nd time we were lucky we could taste the delicious lasanga and indeed it is the best lasanga I have ever eaten

04/08/2025: We stopped for a quick lunch, and we were blown away by the quality of the food and service. I recommend everyone go at least once!
