14/11/2025: I’ve been to Il Vecchio Muro several times and it never disappoints. Service is fast, professional and if they’re not too busy, your meal will be ready in minutes. Love the outdoor sitting in the summertime. I usually come for dinner. Reservations recommended during high season.

18/08/2025: We had a truly wonderful time! The food was excellent, from the appetizer to the first course to the main course, all cooked to perfection. The place has a special charm: we went in August, and thanks to a sudden thunderstorm, there was a fireplace lit where the meats were grilling… the atmosphere was warm and welcoming, truly charming.
The service was efficient and courteous. My only complaint was one waitress who was a bit shy and couldn't bring herself to smile, but it was clear that it was shyness, not rudeness.
In any case, an excellent experience in every way. We'll definitely be back!

17/11/2025: A truly unforgettable little restaurant for the exquisite food and the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff... Excellent home cooking, I regret not having photographed the dishes. The price was also excellent. We stumbled upon it on the recommendation of a nurse at the INI Canistro clinic not far from the restaurant. Excellent advice, I'd say, and I recommend it too... if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back...

19/10/2025: Small, family-run restaurant. A few dishes, but very good. Prices are slightly high but acceptable. They might be a bit of a problem if you have a dog and it's not very quiet.
19/10/2025: We discovered La Foce during a stroll through the heart of Scanno, and immediately felt at home. We tried the cazzellitti con le fuoja (a type of pasta) and the sagnette con i fagioli (a type of pasta with beans): extraordinary dishes, prepared with such care and love that you can taste in every bite. Everything is homemade and cooked to order, a true culinary experience!
The atmosphere is warm and familiar, the owners were extremely kind and welcomed us with great warmth. It's clear that a tradition is being carried on here with passion and dedication.
We were delighted and can't wait to return. A must-see for anyone visiting Scanno who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine.

05/10/2025: Two first courses, including the one all'Aquilana: I wasn't familiar with the flavor, but it won me over.
I'm from Veneto, and the tiramisu was tiramisu.
The girls were very kind, and the atmosphere was very welcoming, with a clean bathroom.
Everything else was great. Thank you.

04/10/2025: Even though I'm local, I've never been to the Villa Letizia restaurant. Tonight I had the best pizza I've ever had, and I've been to quite a few restaurants. There were five of us, and I wanted to try the other ones, too; they were heavenly... If you want to eat well without spending a fortune, Villa Letizia is the place for you. 03/12/2025: A simple restaurant, the food is very good. The staff is friendly and helpful. Service isn't particularly fast, but that's justified by the fact that everything is freshly prepared.
24/11/2025: I usually search on maps for unusual places that, unfortunately, aren't what they seem these days. Well, this was an exceptional find, incredible prices, and amazing quality... if you're passing through Gran Sasso, instead of taking the highway, stop in Filetto (turn off left after Camarda, easy to get to). This is a place worth a visit, as its ambiance, food, and prices are increasingly rare.

03/09/2025: Excellent cuisine, always featuring seasonal dishes. Attentive and friendly staff, a stunning setting surrounded by greenery and a welcoming interior. The wine list offers a selection of at least a hundred wines, including mostly Abruzzo wines, Italian wines, and even a few from outside Italy. Soundproofing is available, and the restrooms are clean. Also suitable for those with food allergies.

02/11/2025: 5 stars is too few! We arrived very late for lunch due to a long hike, but they welcomed us with infinite kindness and helpfulness. The quality of the dishes served (tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles, mixed grill and sausage, sautéed chicory) was excellent.
06/10/2025: Excellent food; try the tortelli with 4-cheese cream and walnuts and the gnocchi with ragù.
Vincenzo, the manager, and the owners are very kind. We returned two nights in a row.
