03/10/2025: A small restaurant in the center of Tagliacozzo, British-style, unlike the many Abruzzo taverns surrounding it. The staff, and I believe the owner, are extremely kind and helpful. The food is excellent and never boring. The ingredients are carefully selected without distorting the origins of the workers, bringing a breath of British culture to Abruzzo, allowing those who want a change from the always-good regional cuisine to savor excellent food. Highly recommended.

09/01/2026: A warm, welcoming, and family-friendly atmosphere. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable, and available to provide information about the dishes. The food was fresh and excellent. I ordered pappardelle with saffron and zucchini and was blown away. The saffron flavor in this dish reminded me of the authentic flavor of saffron my grandmother used to prepare for me as a child, something I'd never tasted anywhere else.

08/01/2026: The restaurant is well-kept, with just a few tables and a formal feel. The dishes arrive promptly, and the pasta is all homemade. The gnocchi are exquisite, as are the spaghetti alla chitarra. There's no wine by the glass; they do have a house bottle for €8. Good.

02/01/2026: A New Year's Eve with a bang! Franco and his family's hospitality is the hallmark of this agriturismo. Excellent lunches and dinners are prepared with respect for the local area and tradition (everything is locally sourced). The sauna and hot tubs are the icing on the cake for a relaxing stay!

Each with their own role, yet part of a cog that moves in unison. You have to let go, trusting in their expert experience, and as if by magic, all the pieces fit together perfectly! The location needs no recommendations, reviews, or descriptions: it's a rare pearl in the heart of Abruzzo. The food is meticulously crafted, from the choice of ingredients to the quality, from the preparation to the plating. The service is exceptional: the Villa Elena staff is hard to find elsewhere; they are professionals dedicated to their work and have an unparalleled dedication to their clients. We will never thank this wonderful family enough for supporting and advising us during our wedding preparations. 31/08/2025: Really nice and well-organized place, good and refined food. The only flaw is that they need to improve the bathroom light sensor.

16/10/2025: Such a nice authentic experience! Perfect service, kind people overall. Maurizio, the pizzaiolo, was very kind and even played the accordion for us! The food was great and the local wine was excellent. 100% recommend.

Had a lovely conversation over fantastic food and great wine and even got a private concerto on the accordion by Maurizio himself! Couldn’t recommend more! A must visit to anyone in Capistrello! Only got to take a photo of the antipasto because we devoured everything else right away!

21/08/2025: A "Narnia, the Secret World" experience. A place where, as you step through the portal, food and quality meet. The BBQ options are excellent, and the grilled chicken wings are adorable. For many, but not for everyone. We'll be back.

18/07/2025: Il ristorante è spesso occupato per eventi ma è anche molto grande quindi sicuramente riuscirete a trovare posto. Ha un bellissimo giardino con tanti spot fotografici. Ci ha accolto un personale professionale ma anche alla mano. Piatti deliziosi, antipasto con salumi e formaggi locali consigliato, idem i primi e l'agnello. Non da meno i dolci e il vino. Prezzi onestissimi, ne vale davvero la pena.

13/01/2026: Truly a fabulous location. Professional and efficient service. The food quality, I'd say, is excellent. I think the value for money is fair given the location. I spent €46 for a plate of ricotta and spinach ravioli with cream, delicious porcini mushrooms, and truffle, a mixed roast with sausage, lamb, and provola (good quality meat), grilled vegetables, water, 1/4 cup wine, and a cover charge.

09/01/2026: Very nice place with a charming exterior. I ate there on a Sunday with friends. The dishes are very generous. The cost of lunch is average. For four adults and two children, eating two appetizers and six first courses, we spent €25 per person. The service is a bit slow.
