30/08/2025: Six of us had lunch at this restaurant and tried the cac e ovo (egg and cheese balls), which were truly delicious. Then there were the first courses: burrata and pesto, spelt, ricotta, and walnut ravioli, and chitarra Abbruzzese. Each one was better than the last, well-seasoned, flavorful, and made with quality ingredients! We truly appreciated it and enjoyed it! However, when ordering, they didn't let us order more than three first courses. The bathroom location is a bit unfortunate: either you find one free, or you're practically stuck in the middle of the kitchen, surrounded by the bustle of waiters.

28/08/2025: A typical restaurant with unique decor and walls! We ate local produce, and the ingredients were excellent! The bill was super fair! Kudos to the ladies in the dining room!

20/08/2025: I came for lunch on a Wednesday. Only a few tables were occupied, but despite this, we still had a very long wait between courses. We'd ordered arrosticini, and the table behind us (who arrived after us) got them, while ours arrived half an hour, if not more, later. Overall, the service was too slow, despite the excellent food. Excellent value, though!

19/08/2025: The atmosphere is pleasant and attentive, with particularly kind and attentive staff. We had a "simple" Margherita pizza, excellent quality. Considering the above and the time of year (a few days after Ferragosto), the prices are more than fair!

29/08/2025: really good, a special appetizer and even though I don't really like ricotta without anything on top and my mother doesn't like ham, we ate it anyway.

28/08/2025: Disgusted! We had a Majella appetizer and two first courses, but we left without finishing our meal. They brought me a mushroom first course, which was a surprise! A beautiful bumblebee-like insect mixed with the pasta!

10/08/2025: I was recently invited to La Corniola restaurant in Pescocostanzo to celebrate a friend's birthday. I had never had the opportunity to visit before, and I must say it was a pleasant discovery. The restaurant is very elegant and refined, with a welcoming atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. It's no surprise that it's recommended by the MICHELIN Guide, given the high quality of the cuisine and service. I chose a porcini mushroom soup, rich in flavor and perfectly balanced. Another noteworthy dish was the egg with truffle. The selection of meats for the main courses is equally impressive. The quality of the meat is evident, and every bite was a pleasure. The wine list is well-stocked, with a wide range of both local and international labels. To end on a sweet note, we enjoyed a cake baked directly by the restaurant's kitchen, which fully met our expectations. The prices are absolutely average, especially considering the high quality of the dishes and service. Compared to other restaurants in the area, La Corniola stands out for its culinary excellence and attention to detail. I will undoubtedly return to this restaurant on future occasions, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a high-end dining experience in Pescocostanzo.

30/08/2025: This historic restaurant in Pescocostanzo is a must-visit for anyone who wants to sample authentic Abruzzo tradition and typical local dishes. The first courses are good and the portions are generous, though the prices are a bit higher than average. The second courses are delicious, especially the grilled fillet steak, which I highly recommend. The desserts are a bit simpler, and the tiramisu is served in smaller portions. The service is fast, but could be more attentive and precise, especially when serving and clearing the tables. Overall, I recommend this restaurant for its traditional cuisine and the quality of the dishes.

21/08/2025: It's impossible to visit the beautiful Pescocostanzo without stopping at Tre Frati. The former convent refectory, transformed into a family-run restaurant over 50 years ago, continues to serve authentic, traditional, and high-quality cuisine, complemented by some highly successful innovations from the new generation of chefs. You'll also find a good wine list, naturally with a focus on the excellent Montepulciano d'Abruzzo.

04/07/2025: Invited to a wedding, the place is nothing short of enchanting, wonderful outdoor spaces surrounded by greenery, fairytale ceremony hall, large, clean and bright spaces, welcoming and tidy even the bathrooms... the impeccable service all directed minute by minute, the right distance from one course to the next, waiters always available and very present in the room...

19/07/2025: …. è stato il leitmotiv di un convivio 🍽️ di Mezzodì 🕛 consumato in questa rinomata Location Peligna ! Ambienti molto lineari e ben organizzati , dove il Personale di Sala 🤵🏾 si muove molto velocemente e secondo i crismi del Galateo ! I Gestori al riguardo sono molto esigenti ed alche con la Clientela ( anche quella conosciuta ) di mostrano prodighi di “ consigli culinari “ finalizzati a gustare al meglio i Piatti del giorno …. Noi abbiamo preso la 🐑 Coratella di agnello 🐑 perché - per chi piace - è un bocconcino niente male ! Per dolce 🍰 poi …. , abbiamo ordinato della “ Sbrisolona “ ricoperta con crema chantilly ! Cos’altro da aggiungere ? È una Location già conosciuta e dove ci fa sempre molto piacere ritornare ….

16/07/2025: The food is excellent, with homemade pasta and locally sourced meats. The owner is kind and knowledgeable, and works in an absolutely fantastic medieval setting. Also a good place to sleep.

06/08/2025: A tavern with an excellent selection of traditional appetizers, first courses, and second courses. Generous and truly tasty portions. Excellent coffee to finish. Courteous and professional staff. The only drawback is that it's below street level, and having a table near a window occasionally led to unpleasant fumes.

11/08/2025: In the small village of Rosciolo, this small restaurant offers carefully crafted cuisine for all tastes. Abruzzo and Piedmont meet in the chef's dishes, and the extensive, carefully selected wine list offers a satisfying and relaxing experience. The service is expert and attentive, with thorough, yet concise, explanations of the dishes and wines, and the atmosphere is a welcoming blend of past and present. I recommend it for both an evening with friends and a romantic dinner.

04/08/2025: Ristorante carino, buona la location, abbastana buona l'accoglienza, meno la sistemazione nel tavolo assegnato sebbene al momento fossero possibili alternative. Negativa la presentazione del menù con diverse portate non disponibili e alternative poco chiare. Mancanza di contorni e verdure e atteggiamento un po' altezzoso della proprietaria, cortese ma fredda. Cucina buona ma troppo cara sia per il posto che per la varietà proposta.

22/08/2025: Beautiful place, with plenty of outdoor space, a very summery venue, and a basement dining area. Friendly and professional staff, delicious arrosticini, and first courses, the ragù needs improvement... Perhaps they should call it Abruzzese ragù... Desserts: well, the tiramisu wasn't anything special. The bruschetta was large, but there could be improvement in both the aesthetics and presentation, as well as the choice of ingredients.

19/08/2025: Country kitchen with the best food. You can see why they are so popular! Whether you get pizza or pasta, it’s all delicious. Their chicoria side dish is a favorite of mine. Don’t miss their desserts!

07/08/2025: We went for lunch and had a truly positive experience. All the dishes we ordered were well-prepared, with quality ingredients and simple yet refined flavors. Each dish arrived promptly, beautifully plated, and delicious. But the restaurant's real strength, beyond the food, was the service. The family-run staff was exceptional: courteous, welcoming, and always attentive to making us feel at ease. It's rare to find such a sincere and spontaneous level of kindness and helpfulness, which contributes to an even more pleasant atmosphere. A place where you eat well, feel welcomed with a smile, and immediately want to return.

03/08/2025: I returned to this restaurant after a few years and found the same atmosphere and good food I remembered. The kindness of the staff and the owner is exemplary. We ate very well, enjoyed impeccable service, and all at more than fair prices. Greetings from Siena Francesco Emanuela
