The atmosphere is one of its strong points: a warm, refined setting with an authentic charm, perfect for a relaxing dinner in a characteristic setting. You immediately sense the attention to detail and the restaurant's beautiful identity. The cuisine was a real surprise: typical Abruzzo dishes prepared with great care, with authentic and well-balanced flavors. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the respect for tradition, but with a refined presentation that makes all the difference. The portions were adequate and satisfying. The wine selection was also excellent, pairing well with the dishes and featuring very interesting local specialties. The service was impeccable: the staff were kind, helpful, and professional, always present but never intrusive, exactly as they should be.

17/05/2026: Found it by chance...can't wait to go back. The house antipasto was really good, made with quality ingredients. The mushroom and truffle chitarrina was perfect. The wild boar stew was tender and tasty. It was like eating at grandma's! Beautiful place and super friendly staff.

02/01/2026: A New Year's Eve with a bang! Franco and his family's hospitality is the hallmark of this agriturismo. Excellent lunches and dinners are prepared with respect for the local area and tradition (everything is locally sourced). The sauna and hot tubs are the icing on the cake for a relaxing stay!

22/03/2026: A pleasant surprise...a small restaurant with just a few seats and an open kitchen. The tasting menu is worth a visit for its abundance and quality. Excellent value, highly recommended.

12/03/2026: I was in Sulmona a few days ago with my family and accidentally discovered this small but magnificent restaurant. The open kitchen is already a great calling card. We ordered everything from appetizers to dessert, and everything was delicious. The dishes were generous and beautifully cooked, each perfectly balanced and an explosion of flavors in your mouth. The service was impeccable, prompt and attentive to our requests. The atmosphere was very welcoming and refined. Finally, I would like to personally thank the entire staff for the care and kindness they showed my daughter, without even charging me for the dish they prepared for her that wasn't on the menu because, for health reasons, she couldn't eat anything else. Thank you so much, and it was a pleasure meeting you...see you next time.

17/03/2026: A very serious and completely unacceptable experience. We chose this restaurant for a celebratory lunch precisely because of its children's area, which should be a safe space. In reality, it turned out to be exactly the opposite. The owner's dog was let loose in the playground and attacked a 3-year-old boy, biting him on the leg and leaving a clear bite mark. It also stole one of his shoes. The child was terrified by the incident. Immediately afterward, the same dog also attacked an 8-year-old girl, scaring her to death. The children present were shocked and frightened. Even more serious was the owner's behavior: no apology, no serious intervention, and the dog was left loose in the playground even after the incident, as if nothing had happened, despite the presence of many other children. Even more absurd is that my brother was not allowed to bring his own dogs, while the owner's dog was allowed to roam freely in the children's playground. To make matters worse, a table near ours reported that a similar incident had occurred the previous week. This suggests that this is not an isolated incident, but rather a case of grossly irresponsible safety management. Leaving a dog loose in a children's play area, especially after such incidents, is extremely dangerous and demonstrates a complete lack of responsibility. I strongly advise against this place for anyone with children.

09/03/2026: We tried this restaurant "by chance" while waiting for a movie at a nearby theater. Again, I'd say it's in line with the other restaurants in the chain I've tried (in Rome). The time was a bit "unusual" (late afternoon), so the place was almost empty and very quiet. The food met expectations, the service was quick and friendly, and the prices were average. Recommended.

05/05/2026: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We read about Pacentro, that it is the birthplace of the grandparents of the queen of pop - Madonna, who emigrated to the USA to seek their fortune, and we became interested. But the village turned out to be "stopped in time" and we were pleasantly surprised that there is a restaurant in which the family running it has put their heart and soul, they cook with local products and satisfy the needs of tourists.
