A family-run restaurant where professionalism, friendliness, expertise, and a warm welcome are included in the price, making guests feel truly pampered. When in Sulmona, it's a must-visit: it's always a pleasure to return! The cuisine is refined and full of time-honored flavors and aromas; it's a shame it's closed for dinner. Reservations are recommended.

We had lunch today at GINO RISTORANTE in SULMONA. The atmosphere is great, the food is extremely well-presented and very tasty, the service is very polite and helpful, and the gluten-free dessert was divine. Highly recommended.

This excellent restaurant is located in the center of Sulmona. The quality of the ingredients is noteworthy, and the wine list is good. I didn't give it five stars because of the portion of pasta, which was truly minimal (so good it's a crime not to have eaten enough), and because of one of the two waiters who served us. A bit grumpy, while the other was helpful and friendly.

06/07/2026: What can I say... We were quite hungry, and we weren't disappointed... In fact... After an appetizer featuring cheeses (all delicious and typical), we dug into the first courses (vegetarian) and the second courses of meat (excellent and superbly cooked). All washed down with an excellent table wine (Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo). The ingredients are excellent, cooked impeccably, and enhanced by the staff, who were courteous, quick, and efficient. Thank you for the experience... Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back.

29/06/2026: This is one of those restaurants where you’re treated like family. We probably went to this restaurant more than the others. Wonderful food and amazing service. We always had Claudia as our server and she was always so personable and always checking on our table. Everything on the menu is amazing. They also have burgers for dinner if you ever want a break from all the pasta and pizza :)
