When in Sulmona, it's a must-visit: it's always a pleasure to return! The cuisine is refined and full of time-honored flavors and aromas; it's a shame it's closed for dinner. 11/05/2026: Unfortunately, I've never had the opportunity to eat there, even though I park in front of it almost every day. The food seems good, the service fast, and the prices fair. However, drivers and truckers exit the A24 at the Carsoli toll booth, and just a few meters away they find gas stations with affordable fuel and a large truck parking lot at this restaurant, adjacent to the toll booth. They eat much better there than at a service station, and they spend much less.

The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, thanks not only to the setting but also to the reliability, kindness, and friendliness of the entire staff, who immediately make you feel at home. The decor is another strong point: composed of beautiful modern pieces, it creates an atmosphere full of character. The staircase is a must-see, as are the rooms upstairs. Everything is made even more charming by the fact that it is an ancient villa that belonged to a noble family, and many original period features have been preserved. The pizza is simply exquisite: a crispy dough, well-crafted and rich in flavor, making every bite a small pleasure. The menu also surprises with its dishes featuring authentic and uncommon recipes and ingredients, making the experience even more interesting and unconventional. An experience that goes beyond a simple meal and is absolutely worth experiencing.

Mario, a special person with a sublime culture, clearly shows that everything he prepares is made with knowledge, experience, and love. The pizza also deserves a special mention: wow. Despite being in a small village, it's always a pleasure to stop by. Highly recommended!

29/03/2026: A lovely and welcoming place. Bianca and Iris welcomed us with a smile and were kind and helpful throughout the service. We had two first courses, one with L'Aquila sauce, mushrooms, sausage, and saffron. The saffron flavor was clearly evident, the sausage was very delicate and brought out the flavor of the mushrooms. The other first course was with gorgonzola and walnuts, which was equally delicious! Perfect quality, quantity, and price! Congratulations, and if we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything 😊

11/05/2026: I booked a confirmation ceremony a month ago. I spoke by phone and in person with Mrs. Anna and her son. Everything was arranged for that day. Less than two weeks later, yesterday, the lady called me to tell me she could no longer accommodate me for that day because she had a baptism and the number of seats had increased. Disappointed, since we've been customers for years... Disappointed, because that's not how you behave... Fortunately, I found another restaurant that was accommodating, kind, and courteous. What can I say? I'll never set foot in that place again; we were customers. So disappointed. Anyway, thank you.

25/04/2026: An unforgettable dining experience at Posta Pacentrana in Abruzzo! The antipasti were absolutely wonderful, full of flavor and beautifully presented. The service was top-notch—attentive, warm, and truly professional. Special thanks to Mrs. Anna for making our visit even more enjoyable. It was a real pleasure for both the senses and the stomach. You can feel that every dish is prepared with genuine care and heart. I will definitely come back, and my friends and I highly recommend this place!

03/04/2026: I visited this restaurant with a group of friends (there were 11 of us), and overall the food was truly excellent. The amatriciana, in particular, was worth it: tasty, well-made, and definitely recommended. Unfortunately, however, the experience was ruined by the waitress's behavior, who was quite rude. When I simply asked if it was possible to order pasta alla gricia, she responded provocatively: "Who told you we make gricia? You have to read the menu!" Considering there were so many of us at the table and only two menus available, this didn't seem like an appropriate or professional response. I understand that the staff may be under pressure, but respect for customers should always be a priority, especially those who are paying for the service. In short: the cuisine gets a thumbs up, but the service needs improvement. A little more kindness would really make a difference.

08/04/2026: As a vegan for over ten years, I know how difficult it is to find truly inclusive and well-prepared omnivorous restaurants. Often, you have to settle, but this place was a wonderful exception. For Easter lunch, I found a surprising vegan menu, one that remained true to tradition without sacrificing creativity. The dishes were an explosion of colors and aromas, meticulously crafted and anything but ordinary. What makes this place special is the hospitality: the staff is incredibly kind, but it's the owner who makes the difference. He's extremely attentive, open, and knowledgeable, and deeply understands the meaning of a diverse diet and doesn't treat it as a simple "substitution." Feeling welcomed and valued on an equal footing with all the other guests is not a given. I will definitely return and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone, especially those seeking cuisine that combines ethics and tradition.

06/04/2026: This functional B&B is located along State Road 17. It has spacious rooms. Next door is an excellent restaurant, run primarily by Emanuele, who uses his grandmother's recipes. We also tried the shop, which serves excellent cheese arancini and a wide selection of wines.
